Purchased $150.00 in Cabelas vouchers.
When to Cabelas 3 days later to make a purchase. Cabelas says vouchers have zero balance. Tryed several times to redeem. Had to pay for the purchase with another means.
Called Raise for a refund and was told vouchers are good and would NOT issue a refund.
Stuck with $150.00 in vouchers that are useless according to Cabelas
Never buy a Raise anything again

They sold me a bogus gift card and will not refund my money. Thieves, con artists, cheats. I would never make another purchase from them again and I suggest you find other ways of saving money

I bought a target gift card from Raise.com and It has completely been in my possession. None of my target accounts have been compromised. I was only able to spend $105.55 of the $436.98 target gift card I purchased before this scammer bought $331.43 worth of items and cleaned up my gift card. I made a complaint 4 times and wrote a detailed email with a screenshot of all my purchases and the purchase that the scammer made but Raise didn't help me to get my money back even though they can easily find out if the original owner after selling me target gift card wiped out the card balance

We bought $580 worth of Apple cards. If you don't use them in a year, they keep the money. So we lost $580 that they won't give back!

Raise the worst place to sell a gift card. They take to long to pay i had to wait almost two months to get paid for the gift card i sold. If you wish to sell a card go to Card Pool they are very quick at getting your payment out

Be leery of selling your cards on this site. After listing a few with them to test the waters, I decided it was ok to list 5 cards at one time. After 5 days of them having my card's information while they were being reviewed, then denied, someone internally obtained 3 of #'s for sure and started to drain my balances and ship merchandise to an address in Illinois....I live in Kansas. It could be all 5, but I wasn't able to get more information from Walmart. Raise, did do some investigation into the matter, but found no problem on their end. I do appreciate that, but I know someone with Raise stole my card information and as of this date 2/6/20, they do have a "wolf in the hen house", if not more. The cards were scratched off by me, stored in a safe location and no one ever got my card numbers until I listed them on Raise. I am currently filing a police report to get the name & address where the merchandise was sent, which is what Raise could have done if they were truly concerned about internal theft in their company. Wife has used them for years buying cards with no issues and referred them to me to offload some extra cards. Now I am over $300 or more in the hole depending on if the thief stole other cards that will be charged backed to me at a later date.....not counting the hours of time & money I have spent dealing with this mess.

They send empty giftcards and refuse to refund saying you used them when you haven't. The customer service is a complete lie and they get joy out of stealing from everyone.

When I went to check my account, after purchasing a $100 Macy's gift card, I seen that one and a $500 one! I did not authorize the $500 one! Now I am going through a dispute with my bank and the headache of having to get a new card and new account number. Ugh!

If there is a negative.0000000001 that is my rating with this app. They stole my money, I bought 350 dollars with them and when I'm about to use it, there is nothing on the card. It says the card has been redeem already. And when I call the customer service, it takes 30 minutes and nobody answers the phone, so I send them an email and it takes 3 business days before someone had reply to my email. And it says there they investigate on what happen, I should get a reply to them in 14 business days but until this moment nobody has reply back to me. So people of internet don't ever try to buy gift card on this website they will just steal your mo ey

After purchasing a $2,000 Princess Cruises card on the site, I went to utilize it to pay for my cruise which had to paid for by that evening. The card would not go through and when I checked the balance on the site it said the card number was invalid. I waited some time and tried repeatedly with the same outcome. Thus, I had to pay for my cruise with a credit card. I filled a card problem with Raise and received no response. I called and a half hour of waiting on hold repeatedly, I was told it would be resolved. After no response, I emailed regarding the fact that it had not been resolved but received no response from the company. So, I phoned again and after 41 minutes of waiting on hold again, was told that my refund for this invalid card was denied even though they state a Money-Back Guarantee on invalid cards. The reasoning is that now they have supposedly added the funds to the balance of the card, but even if that is true, it was not valid when I needed to use it. Having a balance now does not help me in any way. They did not provide me with the product I purchased and did not stand behind their Money-Back Guarantee. I as the customer received an invalid card, had to email and call repeatedly due to their mistake, had to have both their gift card cost and the cruise payment charged to my card at the same time due to their error and now I am denied the promised refund. That is fraud and false advertising. Don't believe their guarantee.

I bought two gift cards for 100 each on this site and went to use them. One of the cards had a zero balance so I notified customer service and reported problem with my card. They closed the report and have refused to answer any further email even though they have a money back guarantee. Save you money and use someone else.

I bought two separate Southwest Airlines $200 gift cards in two separate transactions from these guys. First one went through fine and processed and I was able to use it on southwest.com website without any issue. The second one was stuck processing. This was the night before a major holiday where most people are not at work. I checked my card card and the charge was on there as pending. So the next morning of the holiday, I filed a ticket with them to ask for help. Within an hour, I get what looks like an auto-generated message but it had my order number in it and they closed my ticket, but they were asking if I wanted a followup. I get a separate email saying that they wanted me to call them immediately and verify my identity and if I don't do this within 24 hours, then my account will get locked. I thought this was strange since they let me buy and use one gift card already. Anyway, I tried to call them and they had an automated answering service which basically, after sometime, hung up on me. I tried it twice. Remember this is on a holiday, so how are they emailing me? Anyway, today it seems that they cancelled my transaction and blocked my account, but I did see a refund on my credit card. Thank goodness. These guys have zero customer service and looks like a phishing site to get more info from you. I saw one lady in a forum give her driver's license and passport as they wanted two forms of ID. I don't know any company like that that requires this kind of info. Don't trust their shady practices with your personal info. Unfortunately, these guys have my name, address, phone, an CC# as part of signing up and buying something. I'll have to keep an eye on my credit monitoring services to see if anything happens.

Claims to sell gift cards
My son went to the site to sell a gift card but needed a card to authorize the payment. He used my Paypal card. I tried to call the online company last night but it said their business hours were 9-5. I tried calling this morning and the number is now disconnected. I tried several times with the same result.

Extremely shady website, no doubt involved in money laundering. Won't let you use PayPal on desktop - you have to download their app for that! They'll ban your account for no reason on your first purchase but leave the charge up instead of instantly reversing it. Horrible first impression and I'm glad I didn't get caught up in the myriad of issues other users have reported - gift cards not working, payments being withheld and so forth.

Do not sell your gift cards to Raise, they will not pay you back! I have complained to the BBB and the FTP already but I feel compelled to write on this platform to warn other consumers..
On June 21, 2019 - I listed a gift card on Raise, it sold pretty quickly and I was given a withdrawal receipt once I withdrew. They claimed that it was going to be in my paypal account within 48 - 72 hours. I waited and nothing.
I reached out to [email protected] and reached a person by the name of Rhys - who claimed she couldn't help me at all unless I called. I told her I couldn't call because I was in an area with poor cell reception and even downloading those google call apps did not work for toll free #s.
She never responded, I emailed her over and over again with no response.
Finally, I got really frustrated and tweeted Raise and messaged on instagram. Raise responded via instagram and we have been going back in forth for the last 4 days with nothing being resolved.
They keep letting me know that it was sent in paypal but I spoke with paypal via chat and they saw nothing pending.
The instagram person stopped responding.
So I filed a BBB and FTC complaint.
So I sold a giant corporation my gift card i got from my birthday that I couldn't use because I am in the military and they took my money and will not return my emails.
They are scammers. I will continue to spread awareness and file as many complaints as possible to make sure I am heard. Just because you are a corporation does not mean you get to treat your consumers like idiots.

I sold a Starbucks gift card on Raise.com. It was a $20 gift card that I sold for $15.83. I tried to get my money (available funds), but couldn't without giving them my banking info. I try to be very careful with that type of info as these companies get hacked every 5 minutes or so, then we, the consumer, pays the price. To send me a check would have a $30 service charge which is more than I am supposed to get. They wouldn't let me exchange the money for a card, so I am just out the $15.83. It is not a fortune, but very aggravating nonetheless.

I purchased a gift card and a year and a half later when I attempt to use it the balance is zero. Raise's response was that they only guaranteed a card for one year and encourage buyers to use the cards within one year even though there is no expiration date on the card. They offered me a five dollar credit on a future order. Why would I order again when I can't trust that the card will have the balance I purchased. Very disappointed in the response as I have been using them for several years.

Tried to order a card. Had me call them up to "verify" my order. Asked for all sorts of personal info which they had no need of to process my order for a gift card including my birthday, etc. Then cancelled my order and blocked me as a customer when I wouldn't give it to them. Shady company

I have been using raise for a very long time. Spent a lot of money with this $#*!ty company.
Recently, for the first time, I had a problem with one of the two Groupon gifts card I bought. When I went to redeem the gift cards one worked and one didn't. I reported it and a unprofessional agent "Louis" ask me for proof, they wanted a screenshot of stating the gift card is invalid showing the gift card number. Which I did and he claims that that's not how you redeem the gift card. It really doesn't matters how I redeem the gift card. As long as I am redeeming it on the actual website and not from a 3rd party website. Plus, I understand if I was redeeming one gift card, but i was redeeming two gift cards and one worked just fine the way I was redeeming it.
I told him that he was wrong and get his facts right before giving me the wrong answer. Took over 3 days. Nothing was solved. I had to email over 5 times for him respond back twice. Very unprofessional, unorangized, and uneducated. I believed he did not want to admit the fact he was wrong and kept saying he can't refund me. BS gave them proof. He needs to suck up his ego and admit he was wrong. I even mention their 1-year fake ass guarantees. No standard what so ever about their policy. FAKE ADVICEMENT
I called customer service, the lady kept putting me on hold. I ask for a manager she came back on the phone with no manger and try to offer me $5 Raise cash for the inconvenience. $5 freaking dollar?!?! For a $48 purchase.
How sweet. How about I give you a penny and you guys give me a $100 gift card? Sound fair right!
At this point. No one can come up with a solution at Raise so I just reported to my credit card company that the charge was a fraud.
WILL NEVER USE RAISE AGAIN. They don't care about their loyal customers that been with them many many years. Spending hundreds of dollars.
I want everyone to know and be aware when using Raise. You might get lucky but when that one bad gift card you get, you might not get your money back.!

I made two purchases on the website. The cards did not have the correct amount on them that I paid for. I contacted customer service, and they refused to refund the full amount. A few days later, I get another charge of over $1,000 on my card THAT I DID NOT MAKE. At this point I contact my bank to start fraud proceedings. The bank fixes everything (including returning the money to Raise.com that they had paid me as a partial return), and I get a new credit card. I thought that would be the end. A few weeks later, I got another charge for $91.29. On my NEW credit card. How did they even get that account number? According to my bank, they are listed as a "recurring provider." Why would they be a recurring provider if they sell gift cards? It's not like they have a subscription service.
