Thank you very much to the Rusty Wallace team for making it an awesome and unforgettable day. They each did a fantastic job of being so patient, friendly, helpful, courteous, informative and just fun to be around!
That included check-in, driver's meeting, suits and helmets, getting comfortable in and helped out of the ride along car, the ride along
driver, the photographer and being safely strapped into and out of the Dale Earnhardt Junior, red, Budweiser #8 Chevy.
I was thrilled to actually drive a race car on the legendary Milwaukee Mile! It is a pretty flat oval that has challenged every race car driver at every level.
It was an amazing experience which created fond memories that I have shared with everybody I know since that day. I can't stop thinking about and rehashing every moment of that day in my mind.
Being back in a race car after 25 years of being retired from racing has surely made me feel 10 years younger!
Do the Rusty Wallace ride along and drive. I'm already planning for my next one.
Thanks again RW team.
This was a Father's Day present from my terrific family and included the 4 lap ride along and 8 laps of driving. Don't forget to buy a plaque with your picture on it.

Val and Bailey will be some of the team you meet first. They are wonderful. I was injured and had to re-sched and Val was so wonderful to work with. I asked if I would see her at track day, she said no but Bailey would be there. I though too bad because Val was so fun and helpful on the phone. She said Bailey would be great... well on track day, Baily was fantastic, cheerful, fun, helpful... just happy to serve kinda person. Wow what a team.
The class instructor was like my flight instructor in the Marines. He was professional, acurate, and confidence inspiring. You will be ready if you listen to him. Also he had a great sense of humor in his instruction... great one liners.
The whole crew reminded my of a carrier launch, they suite you up, fit the seat, belt you up, do safety and com check,,, then ready for launch.
You are alone in the car with the track boss in your ear... amazing fun and it is like real racing. If you know what a racing line is, for sure buy the ride along.
On a scale of 5 these folks are a twenty. Very very worth the time and Money. Lindsy Strait 25 laps August 16, 2019 Southsound Racway

For some of use this was the second time, Dover was the first (wow). This time to Charlotte, with a bit bigger group. Seven of use were your guests and I think I can speak for all by saying it was a very good time. The instruction was everything it needed to be. The "Rookies in our group did the ride arounds and getting out of the cars with big smiles. The standard cars are stock cars with crate engines with HP on par with most exotics. These are not your custom fit to the driver cars but they do their best to put in a car that fits you. They are also not the most comfortable cars to be in. But these are race cars not your Sunday go to meeting, AC, soft seats and stereo blasting grocery getters. But these are far more fun. 16 laps at speed ( you will not equal the pace of the Sunday 9000 rpm pros) what a great package. From check in, through school to suiting up, to getting in the car and out on the track so much help. With seven to eight cars and only a couple more people than a standard pit crew they work hard at making your visit go smoothly. And as with any race car there is the possibility of hiccups ( one of our party had a car that got stuck in gear but they got him on the track). Next time the going for the COT.... need save up for that one.... The only thing I can say if you get the chance Do It there is only one thing better......

I had a gift given to me to do the driving experience along with my 2 sons which is never driven a race car the youngest could only do the Ride along due to the age limit. All I can say is they come with what equipment they have they do the best that they can with their equipment this is not a dig they did an excellent job. In fact 2 lapsinto it they made me come in because I didn't purchase the insurance and they noticed I was getting on the race car quite a bit. They explain to you firmly that if you smash it up and don't get the insurance you pay ,they also explain to you if you get hurt or killed it is at your own discretion. So if you enter this thinking it's someone else's fault it's your own. Sorry just had to get that out I read one of the bad reviews and it was totally bogus. I will say this my son come out of there now wanting to race a race car he had a great time it was the most fun he's ever had, he's a college student right now and I see he probably will be back again to drive again. And as for me I got my butt chewed but they let me go back out and finish and I gave it all she got for what tires it had on it and let me just tell you it was the most fun I hadn't been in a race car in over 25 years. so thank you guys for coming up to Lee New Hampshire and bringing that close to the northern New England! I recommend it I've done other racing schools in the past by far this one was pretty good I'm sure there's more in the South that are competitive but for here that was great. oh yeah purchase the insurance I actually did for my son it's well worth it.. it's only sixty bucks with $1,000 deductible.

As it was my second time driving at Iowa speedway, it was again an amazing experience. With only the same regret as the first driving experience is not getting myself more laps. The staff was all great and very informative and helpful. I will definitely be back and hope to experience other tracks in the future.

Was so awesome , instructor was great and the experience is amazing. The only thing that I would change is have signs on where to check in and what door of the classroom is in.

I gave my man the Rusty Wallace package for a Christmas present. He had to wait until June to use it. My man can be the most impatient person I know, but this day he waited for about three hours to get a chance to take his turn. He LOVED IT!!! He said it was well worth the wait. He is now gathering his friends to go back and go again. Thank you Rusty Wallace for making this experience so memorable.

The ride for my son was great-5 Stars. The video is a 1 star compared to my video 2 years ago. Then the video recording was inside the car and you could record talking with the driver and you had all the engine noise plus the view. This time the camera is mounted on top of the car and all you get is the wind noise once you leave the pit. Yes you get the view but the wind noise is BAD.

Gave an experience to our daughter for her 18th birthday and it was wonderful! She is on the short side and they had to do a little extra to accommodate her so she could still drive, but every person on the team did so happily. They even had a fire suit that fit! The entire crew was friendly and helpful. Absolutely recommend!

Neat experience! However they had a cancellation day rescheduled on my race day and the wait and lines were very long. We did not appreciate that especially when I had an appointed time. But we did enjoy the experience!

Save your money, there’s way better racing experiences out there and this one is awful. Here’s the email I sent
So I have several complaints about my racing experience, they are as follows:
1. I was in the 3pm group. Preracing education was terrible. Lasted less than 10min with at least 4 of those minutes spent telling the students about how annoying it was when people said they could drive a manual but then stalled the car. Might have been humorous if they guy actually injected some humor but really he came off as a jerk.
2. Was told that laps under caution would not count against lap total but they were. I drove three full laps under caution and every one was counted. Someone stalled on the track and had to be moved off with a truck. I purchased 15 laps, was checkered at 12 and of those 12, three were under caution.
3. Was told upon entry to the car that I was not to shift. Instead I was push started in 4th gear. The reason why... clutch pedal went straight to the floor, totally slack.
4. Car had terrible tires. Prior to entering the car two RWRE employees commented on the fact that all the tires were awful. One employee stated the car in front of me couldn’t drive with right front tire as it was. The instructor from education portion got angry and instructed the individual to simply put more air in the tire and that “it didn’t f-ing matter.”
5. I did not have functional brakes on the vehicle. I wasnt warned of this and it made for a nerve wracking experience. In order to stop the vehicle when I was told to exit the oval I literally had both feet pressing on brake as hard as possible and while it did eventually stop, it again made for an overly stressful moment. The brake pedal had less than an inch of movement. When attempting to brake on the track brakes were basically unresponsive. Totally unsafe.
6. Perhaps the single worst aspect of the experience was the ridiculously loud ear pieces/headphones. They were too loud and despite my other gripes I might have walked away reasonably happy. But those headphones were so loud that it was painful, annoying and unsafe. There was simply no reason for them to be that loud. It was unnecessary, highly annoying and unsafe. On top of that much of the communication was yelling at two other drivers - the one who stalled and another guy that tried to take a turn too high. The people talking on the sound system were rude, demeaning and used inappropriate language. All this at like 110db. Terrible.
When I got off the track I would have complained but to who? There was no one to take my racing suit or helmet. I set them on the ground and walked away, there was no one of substance to talk to, just the lady selling photos.
I would never want to do your racing experience again. It was a terrible and not at all fun experience. It was a gift so I don’t want a refund. You’d do yourself a service by hiring some people that actually care about the experience. Might want a manager, a tent to block sun, ensure that laps are counted correctly and you simply must have safely functioning vehicles and communication system that can adjust the volume. Your staff was unprofessional and unsafe. The vehicle was not fully functional and unsafe.
#### i simply cannot believe the veracity of 5 star reviews here, based on my experience I think they are fake reviews ####

What sets the Rusty Wallace Driving Experience apart from other experiences we've tried is that you actually race against other drivers, just like the professionals! We did the 50 lap experience and it was well worth the cost. Crew was fantastic and very professional, they are extremely focused on safety and do their best to make sure drivers are well informed and comfortable behind the wheel. I recommend the go pro video, we've watched it several times with family and friends. It's a great way for others to see what it's like driving at a high speed on the track. I also recommend buying the insurance, thank goodness we never needed it but it's good to have just in case!
So, I want to shout out with a huge thank you to the entire Rusty Wallace Experience crew, we'll be back again for sure!!!!

Rust Wallace Racing Experience
MIS Race Track on 7/14/19, Art the driving instructor gave a perfect lesson that was very helpful and easy to follow once I was in the car by myself. Can't wait to get this experience as a gift again.
