AVOID! Substandard blinds and downright rude customer service.
I bought 3 and all of them warp inwards at the sides allowing slivers of light through both sides. When I brought it to the attention of management they said they'd send someone out to take a look, then cancelled that visit at short notice (5 minutes!! When I'd already taken the time off work to come back and meet them) and then never rearranged the appointment, and didn't return my calls, basically just blanked me. Terrible behavior, thousands spent, and left feeling really stupid for trusting them. Please learn from my mistakes

Sorry for the long post!!! I just dont want anyone to experience what we have!!!!
In December 2015 we dropped a blind off at the Fyshwick store, to have the string repaired, was told this will take 3 weeks. I was Happy with this responce as it was Christmas time..... but then the nightmare started!!!
Mid/to end of January 2016 I called to see if I could pick up my blind (on a Saturday), they couldnt find it and would call me back on Monday as the weekend staff dont know how to do find that kind of stuff. Come Wednesday no one called us.... so we had to call then, they couldnt locate out blind so they will call us back later in the afternoon, 2 days later no call back so we call them again, and once more they couldnt find our blind and call as back, which they never did we always had to call them, we even went to the store a few times to sort it out. This went on until they finally admitted they lost our blind/must of thrown it out, this was Mid February I also asked for someone to come and look at my blinds as nearly eveyone of the blinds the Glue was failing and the blinds where falling apart... just after a year old these blinds are.
I was told they will order a replacement blind gor the one they lost and it will be 6 weeks....... Fast forward to the End of May 2016, where the "order had been lost", "we moved to a new computer system", "the factory stuffed up and forgot to make it", "oh thats weird there is a Random hold on your order", even after being told heaps if time from the Manager Margret, there in there way and it will be here "Next" week. (Mind you when the Manager says she will call you back.... don't sit by the phone, she never calls you back, you have to chase her!!)
My Bedroom blind finally arrived.... and it was Way to big for my window.
"I am so sorry darling dont worry it will only take 6 weeks and we will get you a new blind" from the Manager Margret herself.
At the time in May they finally managed to look at all the other blinds that where falling apart.
Now Fast forward to Mid November (yes another 6 months since this all started, and many promises from Margret the Manager of the shop, and many times she never called back and I had to do the chasing) my blinds finally arrived...... now this is the most funniest part of this whole story.
It's blind install day.... the installer called to say he was on his way and will be there in 15 mins (30 mins late of our 8 am appointment) but guess what 45 mins the store call to let us know he gas broken down, and they will call this afternoon to arrange another time. 1 week later they call me to let me know My Blinds literally just arrived!!! (God knows whos blinds I was getting a week ago when his van broke down )
So finally we are on the 11/11/2016 and My blinds are arriving.... 30 mins late again.... but hey at least he showed up this time!!! But you wouldn't believe it..... the blinds are wrong again!!!! This time the sting for the bathroon ones is on the wrong side!!! Someone will call me this afternoon to let me know when the new ones will arrive..... now you wouldn't believe it but Noone Rang!!!!!! I had to call the Hopeless Manager Margret again..... but this time she assured me and gave me her word the blinds would arrive the 05/12/2016 and zhe was going to keep a close eye on them to make sure they arrived in time... and we will install them 8 am 9/12 (he was a no show!!).... today is the 12/12 and guess what.... No blinds!!!! Called Margret and the blinds have not arrived yet!!! She will call me back with in a hour to give me a update (2.5 hour's later still waiting)
I hope who ever reads this gets my message of DO NOT buy blinds from Kresta!!! $10500 on blinds to start breaking just after 12 months old.... to then wait 12 Months to have them repaired.... and if your a poor person like me who stupidly got blinds from Kresta thinking they would be a professional company with quality products, and has to deal with such a incompetent Manager like Margret, I understand your pain and frustration.

I could honestly write an essay on why NOT to go with Kresta however just trust me, don't do it. It has been the worst customer service experience I have come across in my life. Save yourself the headache people & shop around. I certainly wish I had of.

Kresta are refusing to fix our curtains under the suppliers/manufacturers warranty.
Two large sheer curtains will not run smoothly along the track when opening them, they need assistance by hand pulling on the curtain fabric to open them fully.
We required 3 more blinds in our home to match our existing Kresta blinds so we booked Kresta for a measure and quote. The Kresta representative who came has worked for Kresta for many years, in fact we have dealt with her several times over the years. She did the measure and quote and we asked her about the curtains that were not operating as they should. She advised there was definitely a problem and they would be covered under the warranty as the home and the curtains were less than 12 months old. She advised that their installer would inspect the curtains when he came to install the new blinds, which he did.
The installer advised that the curtain hooks used in our curtains are the wrong size and that he would order the correct hooks and book in the rectification work to fix the problem. This was in August 2015 and despite numerous phone calls and emails to Kresta this job has not been done and the curtains remain defective.
After numerous phone calls to Kresta, finally in December 2015 Kresta advised they would not cover this work under the warranty as were are not the first owner of the home where the curtains are installed. We would be charged $2.50 to $3.00 per hook plus a call out fee for them to rectify their faulty curtain installation. The total cost to fix the problem would be around $300.00 to $350.00.
We have read the Kresta warranty and there is no mention of their 2-year warranty being applicable to the first home owner only. We understand that suppliers/manufacturers warranties are always transferred to the next home owner and other suppliers have honored the warranties with matters that have arisen during the first year of this new build.
We have emailed Kresta and logged “contact us” requests on the Kresta website 4 times over the last 6 weeks requesting a copy of their warranty to verify their argument regarding the non-transfer of the warranty to the second home owner. Kresta have not provided any conclusive information to us, so we believe that the basic warranty displayed on the Kresta website is their only warranty which clearly states there is a 2-year warranty on this product with no terms and conditions attached, in particular there is no reference to the second home.
When we purchased our home it was a condition of our contract that all warranties and guarantees must be transferred from the first owner to ourselves. It is also interesting that when a property developer sells a home or unit to a buyer which has Kresta Blinds & Curtains installed and will Kresta fix any problems the Kresta warranty covers, irrespective of that buyer being a second owner.
We would recommend you deal with another more reliable curtain company who will honor their warranty to save all these hassles.

I initially purchased some blinds from another company as they had the cheapest price. What a disaster, the quality was horrible, workmanship poor and I had nothing but issues. After a couple months of arguing I managed to get my money back and then decided to go ahead with Kresta.
What a difference in service, advice and my blinds look fantastic!! Goes to show if you pay a bit more you end up with good quality products that also look great.
I have no hesitation in telling everyone about my great experience with Kresta and wish I had gone ahead with them in the first instance and saved myself a lot of grief.
