I was gifted a gift voucher for Picaboo and was incredibly excited to use it. Unfortunately it didn't work on the website so I reached out and they emailed me and told me to place the order without the code and they would give me a manual refund after placing my order. I then placed my order and emailed them and they responded saying that they cannot process my refund as the "terms" of the gift receipt had changed without notification and the voucher was no longer available on prints. I then tried to cancel my order and they said that becuase it had been more than thirty minutes since placing the order they wouldnt be able to cancel it! HOW. I was LIVID

I recently ordered two larger lay flat photo books. One of the books was recieved with one (of the 100) pages not printed properly (custom background missing). I brought this to the attention of customer service and they reprinted the book and sent it out to me within. A few weeks. Great customer service.

I have used Picaboo for years because of the ease of the program use, the quality of the finished product and the customer service. Since my last use they have made several program changes that are counter intuitive, eliminating some photo editing options and making previous options difficult to use. 10 clicks now gets you what one used to. They have not updated their help section so the old tutorials just laugh in your face knowing that they are what you really want. Which leaves you having to contact customer care each time for online chat support. And that is just dandy if you happen to be working on your photo book in the middle of a workday because it's on the weekend, you're out of luck. However, when you do reach someone, they are helpful and knowledgeable. So, Picaboo, I don't know why you've made the changes, but go back to the easy and efficient program you used to be. I'm all for change and updates when they make sense.

After 2 weeks of diligent work on a 28 page album, ordered it after multiple previews to ensure correctness. Within 24 hours of order, showed niece book online and to my astonishment, found 1 page with multiple pastes of a ribbon that had not been visible when editing book. Called Picaboo within 36 hours of order & prior to production. Was told that Safari browser often had issues and that I would have to order again, with a 60% discount. Funny how they don't feel the need to state this on their website. With the ribbons obliterating 1/2 page, it is clear that a customer would never order this. They maintained it was a customer error and would do nothing beside give me the 'privilege' to spend more to get it right by ordering a 22nd book. Their 100% Customer Satisfaction Guarantee is bogus as they had the option to give me 'Picabucks' to re-order as they already had my money & were notified prior to production so the 1st book did not need to get printed. They simply do not honour their own policy and care little about the customer as soon as they have their money. Stay tuned as I will update with a photo of the product glitch once the book is received. So disappointed. Don't use this company as hours of work can be destroyed by an issue with their program and they couldn't care less.

Picaboo has changed its calendar format to something that is useless. A calendar without boxes for each day is not an improvement. I will have no more to do with them . Their rudeness to a customer of 10 years does not
make sense.

I ordered once and loved the product, but this year ordered again and they sent the incorrect cards. I have tried to get in touch with them four times now, over more than three weeks, and they keep saying that they are "waiting for technical support". The last time, they just cut off the chat without saying anything.
Stay away!

The software is not set up for a novice user. I ended up contacting customer support. They helped me only with what I specifically asked and sent me my product that wasn't lined up correctly. I couldn't tell that it wasn't lined up. The photos poor quality. Overall completely disappointing.

100% satisfaction is a farce! Poor customer service, no one will EVER CALL YOU BACK... The pictures DO NOT LOOK LIKE WHAT YOU SEE WHEN BOOK IS PRINTED! Do not order from this company... I have also filed with BBB regarding this company

They charge two or three times what their competitors charge for no real added value. Better off to go to one of the more reasonably priced competitors.

It took an extremely long time to get the cards and calendar I ordered. I received my calendar in January, even though it was a Christmas gift that I ordered in a timely fashion. I had to call to make sure I would be able to send my Christmas cards out on time. The website and app were not easy to use and the color on the cards was off. Won't be using Picaboo again.

Got three vouchers and was forced to use them seperately - thereby tripling my cost. Very frustrating and not customer friendly. Will think twice about using them next time.

This company are total scam artists. The costs of your albums are never given until the very end when you check out. I created 3 books with them and it ended up totally more than $350 USD (not including shipping!! which was an extra $30). When I contacted the company about why I couldn't use two separate vouchers, they were extremely unhelpful and said because they offer such "great discounts" with these vouchers they can't allow people to combine them. Great discounts when you are already paying out the ass? Not so great
Do NOT work with this company! This company scams you (especially if you are from out of the US). The deals sounds too good to be true, because they are. They don't tell you until AFTER you have redeemed your voucher at checkout that you have gone over the page limit. They totally overprice their shipping (up to $30 for a single book). Just a garbage company.

All the hours I spent ended in less than perfect results because of the poor editing tool when creating photo books. Very difficult to navigate, hard to make corrections in text. Customer service was not as promised with 100% satisfaction guaranteed. Very disappointed with their customer care.
Find another company that's easier to deal with. I can see many others were not happy with them either.

I get hooked on their promotions and end up buying these vouchers that deeply discount their photobooks. As a result, I have made and purchased three of them. Each one has had quality issue, that resulted in them being redone several times. This was due to printer error (missing pages and/or pictures) or the quality of the book, not by me.
The lay-flat book, which has cardboard-like pages, literally feels like it is falling apart in your hands, with pages skewed and out of alignment. The pictures rendered darkly and on a matte finish, they are hard to see. Picaboo tried to say this was due to brightness and color differences on my monitor, and that I should adjust my pictures with filters to compensate for it. This, however, is not true....I have not had an issue with other books or other sites. It is their software and printing process that is a fault. I noticed that when adding frames to the pictures, that the entire page darkens.
I will, say however, that their customer service has been prompt and good to resolve the issues. They have reprinted the books or refunded the money without issue. If you don't mind spending the extra time re-doing your books several times, and trust that their customer service remains good, then go for it. Their classic lay-flat book is pretty good once they get it done right.

I've used Picaboo for seven years. Although in the past there have been annoying issues with various browsers not working at different times, I have stayed with them because i have liked their product. They are currently in their second revam of their software. The last time was a bad experience. Crashes, lost project updates and lockups. Now thay have another software to generate projects. Obviously no quality control whatsoever. Lockups, crashes, photos not being uploaded. Have had several sessions with their technical support. They all profess that they are not aware of any issues with their product. How can this be true, given the problems I have had for the last two weeks? I recommend going anywhere else, given the non-functioning new software and the total degregation of the older software. I have several vouchers that I will try to use with their old software, as I'm willing to struggle a bit, rather than give them my money for nothing. I'm willing to come back, but not until they fix their project software. I will create a project that I may or may not want to purchase as a "test" of whether they fix their current hot mess of a program. It's a pity, they were my go to for years.

This website is impossible to navigate to just order simple prints from your phone. It directs you to their app to upload pictures, and then you can't upload pictures without starting a project on the website. It's the most useless website and I'm annoyed for purchasing a voucher at a fundraiser and not being able to utilize it to order prints. You cannot upload pictures from your phone, you need a computer to do so (per the customer service rep), and all of my pictures, and probably everyone else on this planet, are on my phone not on my computer. This website is awful and I wasted money purchasing a voucher that I'll never use. I'll stick to snapfish and any other app that actually allows you to upload pics from your phone.

Ordered photos 12/4 for w delivery date 12/18. Just found out Picaboo contracts with Fed Shxxpost to deliver. Shxxpost subcontracts w USPS and once delivered to USPS will not garantee deleivery or delivery date. My photos are now due to arrive 12/26 ( if at all)
I have used picaboo in the past and will not use them in the future if they contract their shipping out and cannot garantee delivery.

I am so fed up with this company. I placed an order on Nov. 26th for 5 mini books. These books hold my finance and my engagement photos that we wanted to give to our grandparents and god parents for Christmas. I got a notification that on Dec. 4th these items shipped. Since Dec. 4th... my order has been sitting as "pre-shipment." I tried calling 3 times (Spoke with a Sarah, Jesse and Andy). I also chatted online with a Harrison! No one can help me. They all keep telling me that they are waiting to hear back from the shipping team. Sarah allegedly emailed them yesterday. HOW IN OFFICIANT - YOU DON'T GIVE THESE PEOPLE THEIR DIRECT NUMBER??!?!?!?! They have to wait to hear back via email. Not to mention over 24 hours at least (Because I still haven't received a response) to get a response... This literally makes your customer support team useless...
Not to mention what pissed me off the most, talking to Andy this morning around 9AM central time, after he not being able to help me, I ask to speak to a manger. He argued on the phone with me for a good 5 minutes and wouldn't let me speak to his manager... After he placed me on hold, he came back and still wouldn't transfer me... What kind of company is this, is this some sort of SCAM you people are trying to run!!!!
I have received terrible customer service and I'm beyond pissed that your 'Customer service reps' treat my order like it isn't worth their time...

I ordered my Christmas cards on 11/26/18 and paid for rush delivery. I used a Living Social deal. Was given an Estimated delivery date of 12/3/18, that way I have time to mail cards overseas. As of 12/06 the order is still "in production". I chatted online 12/03/ with customer service (as I couldn't find a #) who said there was a delay and they couldn't tell me when my order would be shipped. They refunded my rush delivery charge but the point is if you give someone an ESTIMATED delivery I would expect it within 2 days. Horrible
customer service without any actual help or information.
This is my first and last time I will order from them.

I ordered Christmas cards that were to be delivered by 12/05. As of 12/06 they are still in the production stage with no information on when they be completed and ready to ship. Terrible customer service that feeds a bunch of canned lines without any actual help or information. I will never order anything from them again.

My wife and I have used them for our engagement and wedding day shoots, and the several years we have been married. They have always had great customer service every time I have contacted them. Shipping isn't the fastest, but I am not expecting "prime" shipping like some. We will continue to use for our yearly photo book!
