They are sending fraudulent checks claiming that its related to a job
This company posted a job ad on indeed for a Remote General Clerk III. Once they reviewed my application, I received an email instructing me to download google hangouts and message [email protected] for the interview/briefing and comprehensive job details. I message the person and we proceeded with the “interview”. Once I passed the questions, I was then told that I was hired on and that I now need to contact the training supervisor, Alex Hatzis via hangout at [email protected] I contacted him and he explain how the process was going to work. He told me that for the job I will need my own work station with a computer, scanner, etc. He told me that the company will pay for everything. He will mail out a check, and I will deposit the check into my account. I was instructed that the the check will take 3-4 days to clear. Once the check clears, we would then give me vendors website to purchase the equipment. I received the check and toiled that it wasn’t from parachute health, the original company’s name. Instead the check was from a law firm out of Texas. So I contacted the law firm, and they proceeded to tell me that it was fraud and that 4 people have called them this week in regards to checks. So i did not deposit the check into my account.
