Ordered a set of 2 barstools from overstock, I received one. No matter I thought. Overstock cares for their customers and will solve this issue. 2 Weeks of painful correspondence later in which I was passed around from person to person, they refused to fulfil my order and as compensation offered a "free refund". So they wished to simply sweep me along with the rest of their falsehoods under the rug. Will never shop with them again and encourage you to avoid any business with them as well. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere.

What a joke
Ordered a sectional and it was stuck in the shipping process for a month. When it finally shipped we had a delivery date and time no show, no call had to call the shipper and overstock to get no answer or no resolution. Shipper claims it was sent to wrong warehouse overstock has no explanation even though this is there contracted shipper.
Bottom line I know it's COVID, storm in Texas and the Suez Canal but over 6 weeks with no explanation or end in sight.

I purchased a bed (order #334221127) and one of the boxes had a broken part. I contacted Overstock and I got a replacement days later. When I opened the other box to assemble everything, I noticed some parts were missing. I contacted them again so they could send me the missing parts and I didn't have to return everything.
Bottom line, It's been 20 days with no solution and they wanted to send me a whole new bed and force me to return the one that I already have assembled. Seriously, terrible customer service.

I ordered an item that was missing a minor part. Rather than work to send a new part, customer service immediately offered no solution other than a return or a very small refund. They followed that up with a demand to accept their options or they would simply close the case. I do not recommend ordering from this company. It was the worst customer service I have experienced online.

I ordered a TV Stand in October 16. Said 4-6 week delivery. Not sure what the problem was, because warehouse said shipped, but it wasn't. Finally after 3 chats, and over 6 weeks later, got a "OVERSIZE SHIPMENT" person. Why this wasn't done sooner is beyond me. Finally delivered in Dec 9th. Second experience was today, where I just ordered a lighting fixture, thinking this should be way easier. NOPE! Got an email later today that said item "is out of stock, sorry for your inconvenience." Of course this was after it said "In Stock" when I was ordering. ARGH

We have all had some bad experiences lately with the shopping frenzy with covid! Right? Overstock has put it out there and does keep providing the best of service and shipping it can. I have purchased several items during this time because we also moved a business and to a new house.
So let me clarify how much this can mean when things also get shipped to the wrong address and Overstock sent us a new item because of that! That means a lot because even the could have said tough nuggies! :D So I don't think that was just a fluke. Also, we had some damaged items that were extremely large boxes aka. Chairs. The first representative was difficult in I tried to ask him how to fit these chairs in their boxes again to return them and then also to just get these in a car to return them? After some discussion, another representative through email did allow us to throw them away and replaced them- which was not fun either but part of life when ordering online. Since then we have had no problems and I have had purchased previously several rugs and items that had no issues.
Overstock seems to have much variety of items at usually the lowest prices as I am the "research queen" for the best deals! ;) With just the same investment for their CLUB you can also receive rewards for reviews (LOL which you all know I like) and also to give an honest one. Now, these rewards are nothing to think twice about because you get at times up to $12 -$8 apiece depending on the item price. So let's go! Right?! Also, Overstock is not shy about giving discounted promo codes so if you hunt or allow them to spam you - Yeah I said it but we all get it! ;) Spam is a part of our life ya'll! Let's face it! We can get money off so think of it as a job! Maybe you can see where the money is?
Overstock has now been in my life for many years but more recently the Club has made it better. I am a believer and it works for them because I go there first to see their stock and move from there. I know it's been hard for all of us during this time but I believe Overstock is trying to when some retailers are not as customer service focus. Thanks for reading! Happy shopping!

Overstock refuses to pay for a needed consumer sweepstakes entry post office box denying people who want to enter an Overstock Sweepstakes program offered by Overstock to enter via Mail... clearly an unethical and unlawful practice... as the company providing the interface between Overstock and the Overstock Sweepstakes mail in entrant... Overstock senior management refuses to pay for this contracted service and with our hands on experience are not to be trusted..

I purchased 2 Safavieh wool oriental rugs after shopping online and comparing prices for weeks. Photos are reliable, plus customers submit photos that show the colors with different lighting. Always free shipping on their rugs, they ship quickly, and the packaging was incredible. Amazon sells many of the same brands, and I always compare their pricing and customer reviews. Overstock usually has more rug sizes in stock than Amazon, and they carry most of the quality name brands at the lowest prices I've found.

I bought 3 dresses from Overstock. 2 did not fit. They arrived in one package, but Overstock made me send them back as 2 shipments, paying for each. When I was notified about my refund being processed, I saw I was charged a random amount for "discount". It ended up being around $20 per dress, meaning I paid $40 for the privilege of trying on 2 dresses. Never again. I will not buy anything from there ever again.

Ordered, received and laundered. The sheets were very flimsley, smaller than regular queen sized for top sheet. They came out of dryer so wrinkled I should have ironed them, yes, I followed instructions on label. After I washed and dried I could not return. Do not waste your money and be careful when you purchase from overstock. If the price is to good to be true don't niu it. Could probably have gotten a better quality from Walmart.

This company sent my package to the wrong address (not attached to my account). They said it was attached to my Apple Pay payment. Customer service refused to help me because they said it was a third party vendor item. Sent me numerous emails asking if I could pick it up ( I live in Florida and the item is in Kentucky). Finally they are asking if the item arrived safely and they will pick it up from the old address but I will he charged $30 for shipping). I have repeatedly told them I don't know the new owner of the home! I will never use this site again! Crooks... horrible treatment of customers and not smart knowing we have many options!

Buyer beware. Overstock is overpricing items above retail.
I have asked for a refund on the difference and had to fight to get it.
Since I purchase the item they have raised the price even more.
Never ordering from them again.
Not the first time I have felt ripped off by this company.
Beware of buying any jeweler from them. I had three sterling sliver garnet bracelets each broke within 90 days.

Terrible shady company. More of a scam than a company. I ordered a desk for $360 its been weeks and my desk hasent even been shipped to me nor will they refund me. I don't have my money or my product. This is theft if I've ever seen it. They have no estimated shipping date nor do they have a person I can speak to about a refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM. My husband bought me a ring, that was supposed to be here before my birthday, and the ring stay 11 days processing order in the warehouse, was supposed to be a rose gold ring size 6.5, they send yellow ring size 7.5, just today after a month we got the ring and is nothing like the picture, 11 days after my birthday! Super big for my finger!

Beyond terrible, scammed twice in one transaction! First, I tried to cancel my order but nope they can't do that but said don't worry you can return it. Then I try to return an item that cost $150, they charge $50 to return it, then I call to dispute this, they sell me a membership, which they say is "free shipping", nope. What they did not say is that you only get store credit back(That was never told to me). I call them back, and they hassle me for a refund on the membership, and still will charge the $50 return shipping fee. Shameful.

So they let us order the item online which was actually not in the storage at the moment and a week after they said SORRY,we will refund you because there is no such item. Excuse me are we living in the middle ages ???? The girl on the phone was trying to find us another item with pathetic 15% discount but then she just hung up. Ruined party is the least that bothers us. It's the customer service...well,there is none of customer service. Shame on you. Avoid if you are able to find it somewhere else !!!!!!

Order never arrived. Over the course of a month and a half, I periodically contacted customer support who would tell me that someone would contact me in the next 24 to 48 hours. Nobody ever contacted by phone or email. At least, they never left a message.
As it was an oversized item, they said they were unable to get the tracking information, as that is done by an external company. This is ridiculous. They should be able to get the tracking information from a company partnering with them.
I mentioned to one representative that if I didn't hear back soon, I would like to return the item. A couple days later, I received an email stating that my order was being returned and since it was an oversized item, I was responsible for the shipping costs.
Just tonight I talked to another representative who again informed me that I would be contacted in 24 to 48 hours.

Checked out as a guest and luckily i took a screenshot of the confirmation. I didn't receive any email confirmation, no tracking number, nothing. I had to contact them and it was so hard to get anyone. Their message system is ridiculous. I entered the order number and it was not a proper order number. "DO NOT CHECK OUT AS GUEST", there are bugs in their programming.
Thank you for contacting Overstock, I'm truly sorry for the inconvenience, unfortunately I'm unable to pull up your account as the order number was the incorrect one, please provide the correct order number or the tracking number for the order so that I can verify and pull up your account and help you with the tracking information.

My experience with Overstock has been stellar. I had a very frustrating situation recently where a piece of furniture (that was less expensive on Overstock than anywhere else) arrived damaged due to shipping. They immediately shipped another which was unfortunately even more damaged - again, clearly due to shipping. They could not have been more accessible (okay, there was a bit of a wait due to pandemic-era staff reductions, but still...), apologetic and professional. A full refund was issued, even though only a percentage off was fair for the damaged first item which I kept. I've purchased many things from Overstock over the years, have never had a problem due to company operations and will continue to shop there.

I spent over $2600 on a living room sectional. After 5 weeks it supposedly arrived in my town. A week later im getting the scarecrow from Oz excuses as to why 2 parts out of 5 can't be found. Thanks Overstock for a crappy performance with your shippers. Never again..

i purchased patio furniture on May 26. I was told 1-4 weeks for delivery. contacted customer service via text (because you can not get them by phone). After 8 days my order was not even shipped yet. They assured me that it would be ship June 9th. Went to check on my order status on june 10 and Overstock cancelled the order. No email to inform me. When i contacted customer service I was told that they were out of stock when I placed the order. They said sorry for the inconvenience. STAY AWAY FROM OVERSTOCK
