This was a tentative purchase as I'd just got the same item of RAM off ebay at around 20% the price - that was unfortunately a one-off though, so I looked for another piece that would bring the system spec up to the maximum it would handle and chose Offtek's - this would ensure I had the minimum system requirements for some installations on what is essentially a laptop approaching it's twentieth birthday...
A known issue described on the product forums meant that even though the RAM is good, the laptop doesn't 'see' [count] it during boot, but a BIOS tweak someone describes on these >10yr old threads got me around this in the first instance and then a full install of Red Hat Linux fixed it properly - so now it is fully accounted for and has stood potentially the most testing part of it's purposeful use. All without any further support from manufacturer/vendor, therefore a reliable piece of the computer's components inventory.

Purchased Ram memory from this company. Ordered it on Monday and it arrived Wednesday (first class delivery option). The card was securely packaged in a hard plastic case and delivered in a padded envelope. Excellent service all round. Very impressed!
