The phenomenal service from your employees began when Hassan met us at the airport and took over everything. Told us to have a seat and he collected our luggage got our visas and took us out of the airport to Mohammad and Sayed our driver. They collected our luggage and drove us to the hotel and Mohammad did all the check in for us. Both were very friendly and accommodating.
Mostafa took over the next morning and I can’t say enough about him. He was patient and accommodating to our needs. We both have some walking issues and he slowed down to our speed. He is a tribute to your company and a true ambassador for Egypt. His knowledge was boundless and his pride in his country was evident. He was very protective of us and earned our trust implicitly. For any older women he is the perfect escort and guide.
Just when I thought Mostafa would be a hard act to follow, we met our cruise guide Abdelhalim. Another amazing employee. He was also patient and accommodating to our needs. Another ambassador for Egypt with boundless knowledge and pride in Egypt. He is especially proud of his home city, Luxor. Again, he won our trust and I was comfortable taking a day off from visiting temples and let my friend go on her own with him.
I can’t give enough praise to all your guides and drivers. We made friends with the 2 guides and plan to stay in touch. I will say if you do have any older women to are nervous or have some concerns then put them with these 2 wonderful young men. They will be happy with the awesome trip they will have.
I am so very impressed with your company and can now see why I could not find any bad reviews. If all the people associated with your company are of the same caliber as all these fine men were, you can’t go wrong. If I ever travel again it will be thru your company.
Thank you for helping us to have a vacation of a lifetime!!!

Thanks to this wonderful company, Odynovo gave us a truly memorable trip to China. Nikki, our tour organiser has been second to none in her organisation of our own personalised tour. Always responding to our emails immediately she worked hard to ensure we experienced the best that China could offer. Informative English speaking guides, all so friendly and helpful; a varying range of superb hotels in central locations reflecting their own unique region; wonderful excursions and attractions showing the culture and traditions of China. Also arranging seamless transfers from one region to another using the impeccable, precise transport systems of air and rail.
Thank you Odynovo ,in particular Nikki and all her team.

My wife and I decided to travel to both Egypt and Greece but initially it seemed out of reach when we received the package cost from multiple travel agencies, one in particular wanted the ridiculous sum of more than $40,000 and that was not including our flight costs so when my wife suggested that we use Odynovo for our vacation I must admit I was reluctant because of overwhelming positive reviews and the extremely low cost. Surely, a company with almost no negative reviews was too good to be true, right? Well, my wife and I have just returned from our four week trip to Egypt and Greece arranged by Odynovo’s Travel Consultant (Johnny Li) and now I know why there are so many positive reviews. Our trip was practically flawless and it was exactly how I imagined it would be and what minor issues did arise were all taken care of quickly, all we had to do was contact our Odynovo Travel Consultant. Odynovo was with us from start to finish and that meant a lot because when you are traveling to a location you’ve never been you don’t want to feel alone in the journey. Possibly one of the most helpful services provided by Odynovo was having an airport representative waiting on us to secure our Visa.
We chose to have a private guide and driver for the entire trip and I thought it was well worth it. Our Guide in Cairo (Mostafa Sala) with driver (Sayed), and our Luxor and Aswan Guide Ahmed made the trip worth every penny. Both of our guides and drivers knew when the best time to visit a site, especially to avoid the crowds. They were both punctual and worked until we (the customers) were satisfied unlike Greece where the guides seem to keep the tour as short as possible and never go past 4-8 hours. We went to many of the main attractions (Pyramids, Saquara, Memphis, Abu Simbel, Luxor, Dendara, Abydos, Nile Cruise, Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Cairo Museum) but still have a lot more to see, I'd like to say one tour was better than the other but to my wife and I they were all equally fantastic however, if you were to ask me if Egypt was better than Greece, I'd say yes. Odynovo chose excellent hotels. Our two favorite hotels was the Le Meridian next to the Pyramids and the Sofitel Winter Palace at Luxor. Also, if you're concerned about your Safety, we found Egypt to be extremely safe but naturally you should always exercise personal responsibility and be aware of your personal belongings just like traveling anywhere else.
Odynovo made our trip affordable and over all a great pleasure. Here are some suggestions to help make your trip more enjoyable:
1) Don't over pack, you'll want room for souvenirs and traveling with a lot of bags is cumbersome. Every hotel we went to had quick laundry turn-around times. If you do have a lot or heavy bags, let your Odynovo Travel Consultant know so that can be factored into the planning.
2) Bring some form of medication for travelers diarrhea. Local pharmacies sell a very effective antibiotic called Antanal (Nifuroxazide) but as with all medications, make sure you're not allergic and get a doctor's approval.
3) If you’re traveling throughout the country on domestic flights, upgrading to business can really help shorten the wait times.
4) For private tours your guide will buy your ticket when you arrive on site. Before they purchase the ticket ask if there are any additional fees that can procure additional tours or benefits (e.g., photo pass).
5) Keep plenty of 10, 20, and 50 Egyptian Pound Notes on you so you can adequately tip for services provided. You can't help but admire the hustle of everyone eager to help.
6) One of the biggest scams around the pyramids are the Camel Ride Operators who approach you pretending to be an "official" of the government tour agency. They'll want to "see" your ticket and once they have it they lead you over to get it "stamped" for entry into an onsite museum. What they want to do is get you onto a camel. If you want a ride there's nothing wrong with that, just be prepared to pay more than what you thought they are asking.
7) There seems to be some confusion about photo taking. For the most part photo taking with a phone is allowed in all sites with a few exceptions where no photography whatsoever is allowed. Photo passes are for cameras that are not part of a cell phone.
8) Don't take too many lenses, I took three and only used one (24mm to 70mm). That was more than enough.
9) Don’t fly via Air France and avoid making any connections in France if at all possible. We flew Air France and will NEVER make that same mistake twice. As a company it had some of the rudest employees I’ve ever met (in the air and on the ground, especially on the ground). What also didn’t help is that CDG airport in Paris puts no effort whatsoever into providing a sufficient amount of customs agents required to move travelers from one point to another. As a result we (and many others) missed our connecting flights, Air France said it was our problem and that we needed to purchase new tickets to get home, thankfully Delta stepped up and helped us out by booking us to our destination. I’m not even going to go into the details. As a result our bags were delayed. When we got to our destination in Honolulu and when the Delta Bag Claim folks tried to contact Air France they said it wasn’t their concern and would forward the bags if they found them. The Baggage Claim people said they’d never fly Air France either because they had lost over 4000 bags over the summer, not delayed…lost!
I'm passing these lessons learned on to you so that when you book a tour through Odynovo you can tell make better arrangements with your travel consultant.

We spoke with several tour operators to coordinate a 9 day Private trip to Morocco, and we decided on Odynovo. It was a great decision because the trip for our family of five was spectacular. The service, the brand new van, the safe driver, the friendly guide, and the local Odynovo Morocco Representative - were ALL amazing and wonderful. Everyone was so kind and helpful. The hotels ( Riads and Dars ) were all clean & spectacular. The trip coordination from start to finish was effortless for us - we just enjoyed our time and saw all the important sites. We highly recommend Odynovo's services for Morocco. And we will reach out to them first for our next trip abroad.

Excellent planning to date! Allison at Odynovo has been helping us plan our part-independent/part-guided tour of Vietnam. She has suggested a great itinerary for us, and we have been able to modify it several times to meet our needs. She's been very helpful and responsive. Will update again after our trip to include review of local guides and services.

My husband and I just did a 14-day private tour of China, and we enjoyed the experience tremendously!
First of all, the organization was top-notch. Prior to the trip, I spent months and months communicating with Odynovo travel consultant Vincent via email tailoring and customizing our trip, and he was always polite, professional, and super patient (even though I kept changing the itinerary up to a month before the trip lol). But the result was well worth it!
I am happy to say there wasn't a single mishap - all the hotels were great, we were met by our guides at every airport and train station promptly, they saw us off to make sure we'd get to our next destination safely, and in general took great care of us.
While all of our guides were wonderful (although we did have occasional difficulties understanding some of them), I want to especially mention two - Julia in Xian and Qin in Chengdu. Their English was superb, their knowledge vast, and their personalities just amazing. Patient, considerate, helpful, and super friendly, they truly went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed the experience.
All in all, we had an amazing time touring China with Odynovo, and can't recommend them highly enough! Definitely a five-star experience!

This has given us the confidence to look forward to our trip in March 2020.

My daughter & I completed a 2 weeks tour of China in June 2019. With the assistance of Leila Deng, we worked out an itinerary for Beijing, Xian, Chengdu, Guilin, Yangshou, Lijang & Shanghai which suits us according to our preference, schedule & budget. Leila was very prompt to answer all enquiries and questions via email or phone. Though at first it felt quite intimidating dealing with a company in China, Odynovo is a bona fide company that one can trust. Our trip was well organised with a tour guide & driver in each city who are knowledgeable, friendly and flexible according to our requirements. We requested for female tour guides which is according to our preference. Odynovo took on board any hiccups & make sure they put it right. For instance, in Lijang we complained when the car didn't have a functioning air con & the company soon sort out the problem straight away & make amends.I requested to meet Leila whilst we were in Guilin & it was nice to put a face to the name. I would definitely recommend this company & will use them again.

Had a wonderful 16 day private tour of China with my family this past summer. Five stars to Roger and Odynovo for making it perfect. Everything from the individual tours, the hotels, the tour guides - all outstanding. They even managed to provide us with excellent weather. If you want to see China at its best and you're looking for a very reasonable tour price package, then call Roger at Odynovo.

10 (+2) day trip Shanghai, Guilin, Yangshuo, Xi'an, Beijing
(extra 2 days chilling out by ourselves in Beijing).
Very professionally organised, especially taking note of our personal preferences. Guides waiting for us at each location and clearly outlining where and when we would be in their location.
Besides the essential "must see" locations, the company organised a couple of small visits to locations that suited our preferences; the visit to a family's apartment home will live long in the memory: we were taught to make dumplings and noodles (!) and then sat down to an exquisite family meal.
We made several friends - including a US couple on a similar tour - and most of the guides and we will be exchanging mails over the coming months & years
Brilliant work, Odynovo!

I was the Social Chair for a scientific research conference taking place in Hong Kong, as Chair of the social committee it was my job to develop a daily excursion plan for the duration of the conference. Odynovo Tours, Leila specifically, were very responsive to my needs: e-mails were answered very promptly, both planning and executing the excursions was done in a very professional manner. I would definitely recommend Odynovo to conference groups based in the US or Europe who need to plan group excursions remotely ahead of the actual event.

My wife and I arranged a two week Private Tour to China through China Odyssey Tours a sub-brand of Odynovo. We travelled in September 2019, having started the process of arranging the itinerary in September 2019.
Our Travel representative at Odyssey was Roger, who, from our first contact, was extremely helpful in putting together the itinerary we wanted. He was very patient with our queries and was very helpful when we stated that we preferred a more Chinese experience than staying at international 4 star hotels. He quickly provided a range of alternative boutique style Chinese hotels which turned out to be interesting and more than up to the standard we required.
We booked our flights to and from China direct with Finnair from Heathrow arriving in Shanghai and leaving two weeks later from Beijing. Roger arranged all the travel in between, including a 3 day cruise up the Yangtse River. Our routing was Shanghai – Yichang – Yangtse River – Chongqing – Chengdu – Guilin – Xi’an – Beijing. This involved 4 internal flights, 1 G train, Yangtse River cruise – 7 guides – 7 drivers & cars and 5 hotels plus multiple museums, historical sights and, of course, a visit to see the Giant Pandas at Chengdu. Roger kept us informed by email of progress until everything was booked and organised at which point we received the final detailed itinerary. Roger helped with our Visa applications providing a Letter of Invitation to include with our applications. The Visa process in London whilst a little complicated turned out to be very quick and we were able to collect our Passports/Visas 4 days after having our interviews at the Visa Centre. Probably not so simple if one doesn’t live near central London. Shortly before we left London we received the names and phone numbers of the guides in each city. I also asked for and got the flight reservations for the internal flights. I would suggest that this should be standard as it meant we could check in online to secure our seats before going to the airport.
We have now returned from a fascinating trip and have to congratulate and thank Roger and his colleagues for a brilliant trip. All the arrangements went absolutely smoothly. All the guides were there to meet us, with the drivers waiting, either at the airport, the train station or the cruise ship dock. They were all incredibly helpful ensuring that the check in process was not a problem either at the hotels or airports escorting us all the way to security. Their knowledge of their City’s history was very good and their English was highly impressive. I am always in awe of people who can converse in a foreign language and field dumb questions from tourists.
Our cruise was on The Century Paragon. Apparently, this is one of the smaller ships cruising the Yangtze. The crew were very helpful and charming throughout. We opted to pay extra for the VIP dining during the booking process meaning we ate in a separate area and always had our own table for two. We think it was worth it as the main dining room looked a bit of a scrum. We had the basic cabin which was more than adequate. All in all, a very good experience.
We both would like to thank all our guides for their help and consideration.
Mr Jeff in Shanghai who went beyond his brief and gave up his evenings arranging tickets for and escorting us to and from an Acrobatic Performance and took us on a river boat trip to see the spectacular illuminated buildings. He was very disappointed not to be able to take us to the top of the tallest building to witness the night vista due to low cloud but compensated by taking us up the Television Tower instead.
Mr Victor in Yichang who met us at the airport very cheerfully even though our plane was a over an hour late arriving at 10.00pm after which he happily drove us for over an hour and a half to board our cruise ship knowing he had to drive back. During the drive he kept the crew of the ship informed of our progress as we were supposed to check in to ship by 11.00pm. Luckily the ship didn’t sail until the following day! He made sure our bags were carried down to the ship and that there was a member of the crew there to meet us before he left. Great job, Victor!
Mr Alan in Chonqing came on to the ship at the dock to collect us and guided us to the car ahead of a short tour round the City and a visit to a couple of interesting places. Then to the train station where he had organised the train tickets and got us through security and pointed out the gate to the station.
Ms Ashley in Chengdu collected us from the train station got us to our hotel and the kindly offered to help us with a restaurant for dinner. We were pleased she was able to join us to eat, not least because she helped us order. The following day she took us to see the Giant Pandas and then various places in Chengdu. Ashley gave us a first lesson in how to play Mah Jong; it’s a tricky game but great fun. In the evening she gave up her time to take us for Chengdu Hot Pot, a speciality of the area. Next day she was there to help with hotel check out and then to the airport where she made sure we checked in OK and took us to security. Great service.
Ms Lisa in Guilin. Met us at the airport, took us to our hotel and made sure everything was in order. Next day we had a longish drive to take the boat trip on the Li River to see the spectacular scenery Lisa came on the boat and appeared each time there was something interesting to see and made sure we missed nothing. Next day we visited the limestone caves and then drove to the airport. Lisa had even checked us in online to make sure we got seats near the front of the plane; so thoughtful. Lisa made sure we got our boarding passes and took us to security even staying some minutes to make sure we got through without a problem.
Ms Zoe in Xi’an. Picked us up at the airport, got us to the hotel and made sure we got checked in OK. The next day Zoe took us the see the extraordinary Terracotta Army. Zoe was able to describe the history of how the army was discovered and even introduced us to the farmer who discovered the first warrior statue. The next day, Zoe got us to the airport and escorted us to security ahead of our flight to Beijing.
Ms Lily in Beijing. Ms Lily picked us up at the airport, took us to the impressive Summer Palace and then onwards to our hotel. Our driver Mr He did a great job negotiating the Hutong (very narrow lanes) to get us to the door of our hotel. After that hair raising experience, we met him a short walk from the hotel on the main road. Ms Lily was brilliant having a great level of knowledge to impart about the sights she took us to. We were able to visit all our top wishes; the Great Wall, the Forbidden City, etc. Luckily we were just early enough to avoid the big shut down which was due ahead of the 70 anniversary of the creation of the Peoples Republic of China. Finally Ms Lilly took us to the airport for our flight home. We had a fantastic time in Beijing, made so enjoyable by Ms Lily.
All in all we had the best trip. The arrangements all went like clockwork. The guides and drivers were great. One of the most interesting parts of these trips for us is interacting with the guides who not only have great knowledge of their city and country but its really interesting talking with them and hearing about their lives and how their countries work for the real people.
We would definitely recommend Odynovo and, I am sure, we will be using their services on another trip in the future.

I booked my first holiday with Odynovo over 6 years ago to Vietnam and Cambodia. I was hesitant at first as who wants to get ripped off booking a holiday online where the agent is located overseas (we are in Australia) and you don't know who you're dealing with!
When we found out we could pay via PayPal (so knew we would be protected), we went ahead with our custom made tour as it worked out so much cheaper than booking a package holiday through a company or agent in Australia (and we didn't have to travel with others on a bus).
Not only did everything work out exactly as Leo planned, he made a point of making sure we were happy whilst we were away. Since then, Leo has arranged a 3 week custom holiday to India and Nepal in 2018 and in June/July this year (2019) Leo arranged our trip to Egypt - again custom made to suit our timings and our interests.
One thing I especially loved was being able to send a message via WhatsApp to Leo when our flight was delayed so he could let the ground agents know. Communication is key with this company!
Will we use Odynovo again? Absolutely, we trust them explicitly!

We just completed our 10 days trip to hangzhou, huangshan and Shanghai
Thanks to excellent planning and organization of our trip by Leila Deng , our private family group of 6 had a wonderful time in China
We appreciate very much that our visit to the Yellow mountains was planned for weekdays instead of the very busy weekend!. This allows us time to absorb the fantastic views of Mt Huangshan and to take magnificent pictures without having to fight for vantage points!
We very much like the excursions to shexian County in huangshan city to experience the wonderful timeless village and the biggest bonsai garden I have ever seen. Not forgetting the huge lotus pond!
The garden city of hangzhou is amazing with greenery all over. The zhang yimou production of west lake impressions is remarkable
Throughout the tour, we have very good and capable guides and drivers
We have done many tours with odynovo with Leila as our planner.
And we intend to continue this practice for our future trips to China and beyond
Thank you Leila for your wonderful service

If I could rate Odynovo Tours and especially Leila Deng our tour consultant higher than 5 stars I would.
I will say that the 13 day Private Tour we did, organised by Leila Deng was absolutely wonderful.
The time (and cost) we saved by travelling in a private van (instead of a bus with 45 others) with just three people would be measured in days and many hundreds of $$$$.
The ease of hotel check-ins and check-outs for just us three instead of 40-50 on a bus, the ease of being dropped at the departure doors at airports (instead of coach parking lots), and then being picked up as a local on arrival and likewise for high speed trains (2). Having a guide to take us into each airport, train station, attraction, help us embark on our Yangtze River cruise etc cannot be calculated in $ terms.
The organisation and assistance in putting together the tour by Leila was outstanding.
Along the way on our tour we met people who were on bus tours. One group were on bus 1 of 8 and when we compared what we had encountered we were very, very, happy with our private tour and they were ALL rather peeved and envious.
The memories of our trip are ALL positive. No hassles, no issues, no stress - the cost of a private tour will be forgotten long, long before the memories we have from our trip -
Thank you to Leila, all our guides, our drivers and Odynovo!
