This company is a total scam, you will have to wait several months to get what you paid for, at every turn they will ask you for more money for something that wasn’t included, once your website is up about every few months they will bring it down and tell you they need more money for domain renewal, for site maintenance, for special IT work to retrieve lost files. Paid for a 5 yr domain renewal, 3 months later they need another $399 for a internal domain renewal( see email from Daryl Lucas at Octologo below, you’ll receive many of these.
Was told they would renew it and have the site back up in 24 hours, didn’t happen because I was told they lost the files so there would be a extra charge because they have to hire specialists in IT to recover the files, at every turn they have a new twist. I’ve worked with Emily, Ryan, Dennis and Daryl. Dennis is the manager and his direct # for the many other upset customers is 408-740-9204, don’t expect anything but them asking for additional money. Stay away from this company.
Email I just got from Daryl Lucas requesting more money to get my site back up.
See attached photo, you will get many of these requests for additional money if you don’t avoid this company . Daryl’s # 310-807-1310

I had to come here again since this is the only way, I am able to get octa logos attention.
My case with them has been going on since 2016 when I hired them to design and host a website for me, they had done a great Job but administration turned out to be my worst nightmare. sometime last year I managed to get access to the control panel and wordpress login of my website urbanedecor but they are yet to transfer owners rights to me for the host and the domain.
The domain says it will expire by 15th August this year, luckily it is still standing, I have tried to reach out to registrant but their hands are tied and needs me to contact octa logo. live chats and phone calls doesnt get me anywhere so I have to come here to share my experience and see if I can get someones attention.
Goddady says domain is in deletion process, so I am not sure how much time I have left. I need ownership rights to my domain and my hosting plan.

Total Scam, Massive Fraud, Big Time CONS
This company uses Big Time CON tactics to defraud it's customers, it will charge your credit card when they don't have your approval, they will say one thing and then come back time and time again asking for more money. Every few months your website will be taken off line and there will be many creative fraudulent reasons as to why you owe them more money before they bring it back on line. All the phone #'s of employees are text to talk, because they are out of the country.
If you want to wait months to possibly get what you paid for, be asked many times for additional money even prior to getting what you already paid for and then continually go thru that same thing every couple months after the fact, then do business with these CONS, if not, run the other way! I can't tell you in words what criminals these guys are.
It's important people post there reviews on this company, they need to be put out of business.

I am disgusted with this company. Initially, I contacted this company for a logo. After laughable renderings, I settled on a logo that would suit my needs. The previous ones were so bad that the one I chose looked like a dream in comparison. They suggested that I use them to create my website and I refused several times. After so many phone calls, I went ahead and agreed. That was in 2017. What I have to date is a mish mash of a website with stock photos, latin type copy, photos of my products thrown together, and no end in sight. I asked for a refund per their 100% money back guarantee and they refused. They were so convincing in their promise to resolve my complaints, I paid extra to have them copywrite for my page and upgraded from a regular ecommerce website to woo commerce. It has been a year since I made that change. Still nothing. Recently, they attempted to upsell me again by offering php platform, stating that woo commerce platform would not meet my needs. I declined and asked them to simply complete the project I paid for. They just sent me the update. It is awful. I even went so far as to detail step by step what they should do to correct my website. They still failed. My husband suggests that I just chalk it up as a loss, but I paid them over $1000! I don't know what to do.

Octa Logo has numerous "front companies" with bogus addresses in multiple cities. One of their "affiliates" has the address of a bank in Nigeria, but they are very well likely run from India.
Possible Octa Logo Front Companies:
Visual Designs Inc.
This company is a total scam. The employees utilize fake names like "John Daniels, Charlie Stevens, and Paul Howard." They claim to be based in many different cities across the United States, but this is a mechanism to avoid lawsuits.
One on-line sleuth actually made a YouTube video detailing the extent of Octa Logo scams, bait-and-switch tactics, outright theft, and refusal to complete the services they promise.
Search for the YouTube Video called "Investigating Scammers, Octa Logo." There is an entire video dedicated to revealing their criminal activities .
In my case, I payed $400 up front, began the website with them and moved. When I called them back, they demanded more money to start the work again and stated that this was detailed on their "Octa Logo Terms and Conditions" page.
The issue is that I called a number associated with one of their front companies (they have so many) AKA designsutility.com, but in any case, there was no "Terms and Conditions" page associated with one of their portal websites selling their services, and I paid over the phone.
I simply saw the phone number in a Google search return, did not click on the link and called the number. The prices seemed reasonable, so I never clicked on the link and made an agreement over the phone.
Designs Utility is actually an entry-way to accounts for those having website designs done, and there is no info regarding the company, just entry fields for usernames and passwords. I discovered that months later.
Only after researching the portal front company Designs Utility, was I able to determine that I had been engaged in business with Octa Logo. There was nothing on the portal website to indicate that they were a "subsidiary" (AKA "Scam Front Company) of Octa Logo.
Even after their "designated completion time-frame" had expired, I was still receiving e-mails from Design Utility in regards to completing the website.
At no point in time was I told by any employees over the phone, or in an e-mail, that the portal site (with no terms and conditions page) was an Octa Logo company OR that there was a time limitation for website completion with respect to the customer, who would be required to pay a "penalty fee" to have the already-paid-for work completed.
The person handling the design project goes by the name "Ally Shaw." All attempts to resolve the situation with him were met with rude responses.
Subsequently, calls to customer service were never responded to with a return call as promised (at least ten inbound calls to them), and my verbal interface with them was met with foul language and threats of being sued.
They consistently used the excuse that the "terms and conditions" are clearly explained on the Octa Logo website, even though I had no idea that I was having the "parent company" doing the design work. Also, I was never sent a receipt, nor was I ever sent the "terms and conditions" subsequent to my payment. Furthermore, we agreed on a set amount and they over-charged me by several hundred dollars, which required me calling them back, to reverse the over-charge.
Present status: They refused to complete the website, my password no longer works and they are demanding more money to complete the now-gone work that had already been completed.
CAVEAT EMPTOR. Buyer beware. These are not good people and they engage in deceptive practices, deceiving their clientele and then becoming aggressive when questioned about their bait and switch tactics.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Initially happy with the service only to have computer crash and lose all files only to be told it would cost $99 to remake the log and that is with me providing a picture of it. SO DOUBLE THE DESIGN PRICE TO COPY A PICTURE - STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF LOGO COMPANIES THAT ACTUALLY LOOK AFTER THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!

They take you money, then take forever to create your web site, once its done, you can' get anyone to assist you with details, high pressure to sale you more things before they even finish the job you already paid for. Web site has been down for 3 weeks, calling emailing with no success. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Find another company

Was offered a Ecommerce web site and after paying I discovered the site was not ready for the internet . Lacked all social media connections. Credit card was charged with out my approval. I was left with a site unfinished and they would not provide any instruction on the end product on making changes including what program was used to design the site. The site was left in a non-secure condition with no backup to recover the site after a hack. One note is they will help if you pay them an additional 100 percent the cost of the site. Having a web site left with out SEO and social media presence as well as with no security or any back up and no support to trouble shoot issues. I had an email issue where the email came through with less than 6 words and they said I had to pay them to make this work when the email should of been done with the final of the site. Honesty and customer service is not found here

This company failed to provide a complete site. They offered a e commerce site but left me with a site listed as not secure and with absolutely no technical data on the site including what the name of the software used is. If i want any more help or information to understand they will do it for a large cost. They at one point demanded a 50 percent fee if i wanted the site finished or it would be cancelled because they changed the email chat system and I was not informed. I'm stuck with a site that I have no technical details on and left with out secure listing and with out the information to get any other company to assist on the technical side. This is a deceptive company and at 2 occasions make credit card charges with out my permission. They fail in looking after their client and they fail on doing what they say they offer and they fail at trust with credit card info

As mentioned in some of the other comments, this company is a not a legitimate business. I am also filing a lawsuit against this company. This company does NOT follow their 100% satisfaction or your full refund back policy. They also do NOT abide by their 100% ownership agreement. My website had went live WITHOUT my knowing and was NOWHERE near complete. The website still has mock photos and placeholder text. I never recieved a phone call about my website going live. Obviously, I am not satisfied with an incomplete website that has gone live without my knowledge. This was the last straw for me. They have continuously tried to upsale me And when I requested a refund, they tried to tell me that they could not give me a refund because my website was live. BUT according to a rep (I have written proof), I could get a refund if I was NOT 100% satisfied. They are FALSE ADVERTISING. This company is NOT LEGIT! They make fake contracts and will say anything just to get a sale. I have lost all trust in this company. My lawyer will be contacting this company.
Update: The company has yet to fix the problem and I still get the run-around when I try to contact them. After posting my initial review, the company claimed they would get in contact with me to help fix the issure but did not. I had to end up calling again which I still got nowhere. Highly disappointed!

I was lost on what to do as far as a logo. This company was not only patient, and walked with me through every step but I felt like they heard my heart.
Addtionally, I am just starting out and the price was so reasonable that I could not beleive it.
Thanks Troy for the design and thanks Ally for addressing my concerns. I will definitely do business with you in the near future.
God Bless you all

They did a good job creating our logo, and for a reasonable price. They then told us they'd file for US Trademark protection on our behalf: only $500. We paid them, but months later have heard nothing, even after several emails. Just another way for them to make money. we feel ripped off.

Ally Shaw worked with me on creating my website. He was very helpful with the process. He would discuss everything with me and take it to the team for development He also had good suggestions in improving the site. He always kept in contact and answered all my questions. I am very happy with the end result. They ended up creating a beautiful site for me along with a great logo and a video. I originally had a vague idea about how the site will look but ultimately they redesigned it and it came out even better. This was my very first website I had developed so it does take some patience as all good things take time.

When I looked up this company, I was skeptical if they were a real company or not. I was afraid of being scammed but I decided to give it a chance. My first time speaking with a representative, they were kind and understanding as well as professional. Paying my money, I was waiting for the first set of logo designs. The designs came as quickly as advertised and every iteration after came faster than advertised. The communication is strong, efficient, and clear. When trying to get a logo, the design team was patient as we were making a lot of requests and they never showed any signs of frustration. They took feedback well and they provided us a product that we are proud and excited about. We look forward to working with this company in the near and long-term future! Absolutely phenomenal at this logo making business!

Octalogo was eager to receive our money, but slow to create and produce. Once the website was viewable, we realized it was built on a non-user friendly platform. We had requested it be built on WordPress. It was not. At that point they would not redesign. Since we've taken possession of the website and published it, we've had error code after error code. Our hosting company tells us there is a problem with the coding of the site. Octalogo continues to tell us it's the hosting company. (I have another site hosted at the same hosting company with not problems over a 12 year period). Every time I asked Octalogo to help or assist, they charge $149.00 service fee. Here's my advice. RUN! Run as fast as you can. Find some other company to design your website. You will regret using Octalogo---that's a guarantee.

Thank you to all who worked on my account! I have to say I have been extremely satisfied! My contact, Jay, was very good and professional. He was excellent and quick at grabbing my idea from the get-go when others could not understand my concept fully.
Timing was fast, designers were excellent (they gave me many great choices that I could have chosen). I was the slow party and THEY stayed on top of me. I recommend them for work and will continue to use them as I grow my company for all design needs. Thank you again gentlemen!
