Shocking service, laughable that a customer service lady in Auckland told me my issues were due to Amberley being a big place 😂. Customers who we’ve sent mail to for 15 years using the same address are apparently incorrect this month, but weren’t last month. It’s like they have staff that can’t be bothered sorting mail, so they just stamp insufficient on envelopes that actually contain the whole, correct postal address. When I was finally redirected to the Christchurch branch, I was directed to a mailbox address to leave a message. Crap service, no solution! Last month our parcel was sent to Banks Peninsula several 100km from us even though the sender had our address 100% correct, you really need to look into your sorting department!

I order last month a package but I didn't get it and they told me you have a wrong tracking number and same thing happen again this week they complete my delivery just in online tracking but again I didn't get my package such a disguisting service.

I was very unhappy with how my recent parcel ended up. When I tracked my parcel online, I was told that my parcel was delivered 7 hours ago. I have checked my mailbox multiple times that day and also its surroundings but it was not there. After a full day of research, stress, and calls (as it was a very important gift), I was told that I was going to get a call back after they investigate what could have possibly happened to my parcel as it was indeed delivered. A day later, I get a message on Facebook from a nice lady and said that my parcel arrived at her place, which was 2 blocks away from where I live. A week later and I still have no call from NZ Post regarding my parcel or even an apology for their mistake. Thanks for all the stress, NZ Post.

Contact the driver, driver said your parcel is at depot, while when I rushed to the depot, people there said your parcel is with driver. I cant find any location info of my parcel on the website, there only shows attempt failed what should I do next? f my life. P.S NZ post lost my parcels sometimes, I never faced any above problems with the other courier companies.

I have been waited for the parcel to be delivered to me almost 2 weeks! your courier lied and cheated on a customer saying there was no access to my building, as other courier company delivered item s to me to the exact address, and there is a nz post drop off in our building! i wrote several complains via your website asking to deliver my parcel to me and only after several days after complain has been made your manager called me saying that courier said there was no access to the building please kindly have a look into this awful customer experience, come to my building and check in person! Other couriers company made a delivery to me, but just your courier refused, i think he just passed by the building and stated that there was no parking, its all excuses he even didnt ring the bell, on the day of rescheduled delivery he stated the same excuse of not delivering the parcel, the most interesting is that you managers dont properly deal with customers complaints they asked me to walk to the nearest post office to collect my parcel, why the customer who paid for courier should to collect items by ourselves? Today i need to walk 2 kilometers to ncollect my parcel from the post, why your couriers dont do the job why they are get paid ? complain number nzp075622 , after lodging a complain I recieved an email saying that your manager would contact me within 4 hours but it was a lie because nobody contacted me within you stated time! tracking number HA165442495NZ, nz post couriers need to uplift the service standards!

ABSOLUTE garbage. I ordered some second hand clothes via YouShop. Never never again. They pushed me over the duty limit with an $80 delivery fee which now means I have to pay HUNDREDS in taxes and duties all on some manky clothes from the 90s. Disgusting service with equally foul employees on the other end of the phone lines. DO NOT USE YOUSHOP. I REPEAT, DO NOT USE YOUSHOP.

Actually this company is not worth even one star ..to be honest I order one stuff from.albany last week.monday they posted it the same day. n it arrived here Thursday guess what I missed the courier. N they left a card to be redirected or redelivery .
I.directed to be delivered to our nearby post shop but its not there.today I found out it's at the depot I have to go n collect it.how ridiculous is that.m just so over this company for real.someones not doing their job properly.taking advantages of people.

I'm trying to change where my package ends up or where it is left on my property. This is impossible. It keeps going around in circles. I've already lost one parcel in the last week or two, so trying to change where this one gets delivered is the only way I can go about it (and since I brought it off eBay it automatically makes it so I don't have to sign for it.) Every-time I click on redirect it takes me to tracking where I can't edit anything. If I click delivery instructions it takes me to tracking where I can't edit anything. We love a useless loop of annoyance. Good-bye another $50 dollars. I wish people would stop sending me things through NZPOST because honestly would rather rip out my own eyeball than have to deal with this company anymore.

the star city post office and dairy in auckland city has the rudest man i have ever met. he is usually there by himself and thinks it's fine to stop serving postal customers to go down the other end of the counter to serve dairy customers. This is not just the odd one I mean many times while he is in the middle of serving you. the big thumbs down for this guy. his postal services need to be removed from this location

What I can't work out is, does 216D and 220D really look like the same number. Or maybe the houses look the same, or our drive ways, 2 houses apart, both houses with clear numbers on the street, yet I keep getting not only parcels, but mail also for 216D, then I open it by mistake, and have to keep apologizing to the poor lady at 216D. Wonder how the privacy or handling and care taken with the ladies mail would stand up in a court hearing. I don't see much care taken. No good ringing as you just get the corporate answer. The it continues. No trees in the way either. Oh well. I deliver every day of the week.

Today, I have experienced two instances of absolutely crap "service" by NZ (Won't/Unwilling to) Post:
In the first instance, NZ Post lost a parcel from the Book Depository; on contacting the BP, I was told that the parcel was definitely sent and arrived in NZ.
On informing NZ Post's "customer service" of this, I was fobbed off with some lame excuses about the parcel not arriving at the delivery branch, so please contact the Book Depository.
Clearly the so-called Postal service is too lame to initiate a proper search along the delivery route: note, I've already had a parcel go missing, only to be found weeks later, in a NZ Post van, somewhere in Christchurch.
In the second instance, after selling an item on Trade Me, I sent a parcel from Dunedin to Christchurch: due to a misunderstanding on the buyer's part, the parcel was sent to his workplace, rather than a private address. NZ Post are now insisting that they won't release the parcel to the purchaser without a tracking number; I'm now in a "Catch 22" thanks to the profound incompetence of NZ Post, because I don't even know whether they're going to bother sending the parcel back to me and I'm probably going to have to pay twice for a package which should have been delivered.
Anyway, because NZ (Won't) Post are a monopoly, they'll probably just ignore both of my experiences of their deplorable 'service' and fob it off with yet more feeble excuses. Damn them!!!!!

If I could give a negative score I would do, a few weeks back i sent a parcel, put the person’s name of whom it was being sent to in big bold letters, and senders details underneath marked as sender, 2 days later it was on my doorstep, they had delivered to the sender address, Just wow, latest one just got confirmation today, i was tracking an international parcel, it arrived they attempted to deliver it once, couldn’t find the address, despite delivering to me 2-3 times a week, i found out 2 days later and rung them they said it had been sent back to the sender in China, despite the fact they were supposed to hold it 2 weeks, it sat in Auckland depot for 7 days whilst i made numerous calls to them and emails to retrieve it and send it back, they did nothing, last day today and it was put on a plane and returned, words fail trying to describe the frustration in dealing with them, they really don’t care that they stuffed up and cost me money, like living costs are not high enough without giving me this problem, avoid them like the plague and hope there business goes down the gurgler where it belongs, the only compensation I got from them was an email saying sorry for your inconvenience, didn’t mention the issue was caused by them, they did not follow protocol and did nothing to get the item back which they had access to, we have the CGA in NZ, why does it appear they feel they are exempt from it as the service they provide is terrible, I don’t know how they exist as a business when they treat customers this way! And when its there mistake do nothing to rectify the problem and redeem themselves!

The delivery service is the worst thing what I have ever expect. I waiting the parcel all day, which was non signature required. However the customer service said that it still required my signature.Secondly the delivery service is joke. The courier never try to knock the door but prefer left the card inside the mailbox. However this time the courier find funny to put the card inside the junk magazine which was inside my mailbox. I have found the card only when I checked junk mail again before to drop into rubbish bin.

I would give a negative score too if there’s any. Email said attempted delivered but no response, but we did not hear any one knocked at the door. Card was left, rang them and said i can collect it the following day. SOOO FRUSTRATIIIING!!! The sender paid for delivery and expect it to deliver at my door. Please don’t be so lazy, it’s your job! Do it right. This is not the first time it happens.

Well where to start…. My flatmate ordered online some pre-workout and asked to be delivered to our address with the instructions ‘Mailbox only!” …. I come home from work to find the remains of the pre-workout and packaging in the driveway chewed to pieces by my 8 month old german shepherd, keep in mind to get to the front door you have to go up the drive from the mailbox, through a gate, interact with the dog and leave parcel on the door step….. Now it wouldn’t take a rocket scientist to work out what’s going to happen!! Thankfully the dog didn’t like the taste or I’m guessing by the time I got home he would have been dead!!! …….forward 3 weeks and this time I have a parcel being sent from a friend in Wellington… the parcels contents are baby clothing she been waiting on from USA, books for my son, chocolates, cards etc etc. …. My friend goes into NZ post in wellington and speaks to the staff there explaining that this delivery needs to be “letterbox only” to which the staff reply “just write it on the bag” while handing her a vivid…… so she did. (I’m in Christchurch)
I get home the next day and guess what!!!..... That’s right…. The courier driver has walked past the mailbox….past a vehicle….opened a gate…..interacted with my 8 month old dog ……and left the parcel at the front door to be once again destroyed by the dog!!! OMG!!!! To say this is gut-wrenching is an understatement!! My friend in Wellington is extremely upset!!
However that’s still not the kicker!!..... After contacting NZ post and to be honest I was fuming! I get a call back from a woman called “Polly”…. She proceeds to tell me that even though both times we (the clients) had made specific instructions to deliver to “mailbox only” that it was our fault and bad luck…. Then on top of that she tells me the main issue with all of this is I have a “problem dog” ….unbelievable!!!!!!!!!
If this is the attitude of staff higher up dealing with complaints then I can see how the total incompetence filters down to other staff.
NZ post your attitude is absolutely appalling and I’m not going to rest until this is sorted, refund on the damaged goods and an apology to my friend and myself!!!
Your attitude towards your customers is disgusting!!!

Possibly the WORST company in NZ.
NZ Post is the worst company and customer experience I have ever had. They go out of their way to charge as many fees as they possibly can - only to not deliver on their 'promises.'
It seems they are nothing more than a corporate designed to rob New Zealanders - I go out of my way to use a different courier/postal service where possible.

When will I learn!! so many times I pay for over night delivery and every time there is something about "misdirected" or what ever excuse.
Why not take away the overnight delivery option instead of deceiving people and charging us for a service that just does not exist within your company?
My longest wait was 11 days after overnight delivery was paid for! others 3 to 5 days.
You should refund every time you do not fulfill a service which you charge us for!

They subcontract from DHL lose/incorrectly scan my parcel, then when asked where it is, denies any wrongdoing and tells me I have to take it up with DHL because it's under their name, even though it's in their system? Seriously NZ Post..... even though you are the only NZ mail handler to touch it on NZ soil, yet it's nothing to do with you..... So damn sick of this useless company, better off letting private handlers deal with mail in this country

had my son wait for my parcel that was coming from overseas. He was home all day. No knock on the door or anything. Yet I did find a card in the door when I got home. Had to go pick it up in town. Told the young girl at the desk what happened and she looked at me with a (and what??) attitude. I try my hardest not to use this company but sometimes the people I buy from use them. I did make contact with the sell to inform her about nzp. Pick your game up before you end up losing more customers.

I have placed an order for a bag of protein from North Shore on Wednesday (4th Sept) at 08.00 hrs. I received update that the order was picked a couple of hours later. I expected to receive the order by Thursday or Friday at the latest. It is 6 days later, Tuesday (10th Sept) and I still do not have a 2.2 kg bag of protein delivered to me. The store I got it from is less that 40kms away. The reason I had to buy online is because I am at work when the store is open. However, even if I had decided to go there during the weekend & make the purchase I would have had it with me by now. I do not understand how they can have such a poor service. This is very disappointing to say the least. Extremely poor service.

In the last 12 months the service has gone from amazing to outrageously bad, on three separate occasions I have paid the extra to have something couriered from mid Canterbury to Hamilton in order for it to arrive early or at least on time and on each occasion it has taken 3 to 5 days longer than claimed, on one occasion I sent two items, one by standard mail the other by courier, the standard mail item arrived 3 days before the couriered item. Prior to 12 months ago it was amazing, it surpassed expectations, but not now, it is terrible, items are ALWAYS late and the charges are exorbitant, what has happened?why is it so bad now? and it's not improving, if anything it seems to be getting worse.

Very disappointed with NZ post, a tracked International parcel went missing at the Auckland receiving centre, when I made enquires they said that they would reimburse the cost, but I had to contact the seller to advise them of the lost item, so that they can reimburse me and NZ posts insurer would then pay the seller. Can’t see what the seller has got to do with it, because Nz Post lost the package, this seems to me to be a way for NZ post to dodge their responsibility.
