We stayed at the Novotel Heathrow for two nights while visiting Legoland. It went beyond my expectations. Great room, fantastic pool open early so kids could swim before breakfast, really friendly and helpful staff, breakfast was very high quality and we had an evening meal there too which was also very good and reasonably priced. Great layout with the rooms looking onto the internal space. Really can't fault it would certainly go back.

I went to the Novotel closest to London Blackfriars after a flight cancellation made me stay one extra night in London. I was able to book a room very late at night, and arrived there after midnight.
The room was lovely, and the shower awas just amazing.
But breakfast the next day was one of the worst I've ever had.
I don't eat meat or eggs, so I went for the veggies, beans, bread and coffee. The tomatoes were horrible - very low quality. They tasted like they had been boiled. A massive chunck of boiled tomato is not what you want the morning after your flight was cancelled. The mushrooms were equally horrible, very rubbery and watery. The beans were way too sweet. Very nice rooms, but please put more effort in the food you make. It's important.

We were 3 persons travelling together and had specifically book two rooms for Our stay in New york at the Novotel Time square. One room with two Queens size beds and the other with one Queen size. We were given a room With a one Queens size bed and a terrible fold out. I tried to explain to the front desk staff but they din't want to listen or even look at my booking confirmation. I was told it was my own fault and the hotel didn't have another room available, but i could book one for the Next day. The type rooms we had booked from home wasn't available for the rest of our holiday. The staff wasn't interesting. They were arrogant and the service was very poor.
Never book Novotel Hotel Time square if you Your looking for a hotel With great service!!!! I have visit New York many times before but never experienced so poor service.

We stayed at the Novotel close to Stansted a few weeks ago as we were attending a wedding in the area.
Hotel and rooms were very clean, staff friendly and helping. Definitely not too suited for kids, husband and my daughter had to spend the day there while I was setting up the venue and there was zero outdoor activity for my 1 year old (still not too bothered about that as we knew it’s an airport hotel)
What I have to highlight is that my daughter had an allergic reaction to the fabric softener they used on the sheets, to prevent my husband from driving all the way home and get a pair of our sheets the hotel offered to hand wash the sheets and tumble dry them. He even offered to go to Sainsbury’s and get the washing liquid we use at home. This was excellent service and really appreciated. We had the sheets back for the night and my daughter didn’t have any further reaction.

My wife, 13 year old son and I stayed at the Novotel BlackFriars in London last week for 3 nights. We had specifically booked a 3-person room. When we checked in we had to request a room change due to the small size of the room (we could not even walk past the bed without colliding into one another) The “sofa bed” to sleep the third person was ridiculously small. They put us in a slightly larger room, but same type of sofa bed. We complained and ask to speak with a manager. He explained to me that all the rooms are equipped with the same sofa bed type even for their suite (we learned later via housekeeping that the suites have 2 sofa beds and can be put together), therefore it was what it was and nothing was possible. The size of their “sofa bed’ was 31.5 inches wide and 6ft 2inches long. The sofa bed is not really a sofa bed, it is a sleek sofa that has cushions removed and bars behind which keep the cushions on but do not get out of the way if you sleep on this sofa. I’m 6-foot-tall and could not sleep in the 31.5 wide “sofa bed”. Our solution was to sleep on the floor for 3 nights with mattress on floor ( still too small, but at least not falling and could stretch), To sell you a room for 3 (extra cost of course) and have the third person sleeping in a 31.5 x 6ft 2” type of chair bed sofa is not acceptable, it is at best misleading information and, at worst not telling the truth about who can sleep in this very small bed. My opinion is that no one should book a room like this if your child is over 8 . Already a pricey hotel for Novotel category (specially in the Accor group, booking was around $800 for 3 nights) , it would be positive to clearly display the bedding arrangements so families know what to expect. I remember staying in a Mercure hotel (Accor group) in Vichy not long ago and they refused us to book a room for 3 as they only had a single chair sofa in the room on top of their queen bed. I wished the same courtesy was offered to us by Novotel Black Friars as we would have booked elsewhere and most importantly had a comfortable stay for the all family.

Booked a romantic break in York last weekend and despite booking and getting confirmation that we were staying in a superior room with a Queen size bed we were given a standard room with 2 single beds pushed together!
We spent most of the night falling between the gap in the bed!
We were also not told about any changes to our booking when checking in!
The result - a spoilt weekend! I have used Novotel’s in the past with no issues but feel really let down by them on this occasion and won’t be booking with them again in a hurry!!!
Beware of being ripped off by being given the cheapest room falsely advertised as a superior room and a queen bed which is actually 2 singles pushed together!
Apparently Novotel do not see what the problem is here! My advice / if you are booking anything other than a business trip then do not use them! Very poor customer service!!!

We visited the Novotel Brentford on Great West Road to use the car park for a nearby football game. We had pre booked and prepaid parking through ‘your parking space’ and had full directions on how to access and use the car park. Upon arrival all spaces were occupied. I entered the hotel to see if they were aware of renting out spaces to your parking space and the service from the hotel could not have been better. The manager was so helpful and immediately reassured us that we would have a space and even checked how much time we had so he could ensure we could safely park. He was even going to put us in a reserved staff/contractor space to ensure we had somewhere to park. Promptly he found us a space in the hotel parking and even went out of his way to provide us with the token to get out at the end of the game. The main point here is we had pre booked parking to take away the anxiety of finding somewhere to park on the day and from the minute the manager became aware of the issue he reassured us we would have somewhere to park. Well done Novotel, you have strengthened your brand here.
To top it all off, our team got a late equaliser for a draw!

Ruined our holiday 😒 We stayed in Novotel Central in Birmingham. Firstly we found out that parking is charged separately - £18 per day. This room was up to standard 30 years ago but not now. Upgrade required urgently! Dirty bathroom and ventilation - could feel dust in the air. Bed was terrible - our backs were sore. Breakfast -my husband decided to skip it at all, myself and kids tried but never finished as most of stuff was tasteless. After that my family decided to end holiday faster than it was planned 🙄 Do not recommend!

Hello, this is in regards to my stay at Novotel Dona Sylvia on 19-06-2019.I had a frustrating experience at the hotel as lots of water seeped in completing flooding the floor. Due to this we couldn't sleep and it was a grave inconvenience as we had to move out of the room early hours in the morning. I did not expect such an experience with make my trip or Novotel.
I had the worst experience.
The room service didn’t respond on time. They made us wait for 3 hours even after complaining. After paying so much of amount we had a terrible experience.

My trip to York was made better by the modern looking room I was in and the fact we managed to get the pool to ourselves.
Only issue I had was that they messed up our room somehow and our cards got disabled but it was fixed swiftly.

For my birthday weekend my friend and I took a trip to London, upon arriving at the hotel we were greeted by friendly staff who checked us in quickly and efficiently. The room had been upgraded to an executive room, which was a lovely birthday surprise.
Upon returning from a meal and a few drink, I found a birthday card, voucher for a free glass of Prosecco and chocolates in the room. This made my night - and I will be definitely be back to stay again soon.

Novotel Eiffel Tower-
Had the best stay! we stayed for 4 nights in total. The hotel gym, room, and staff were amazing!! We requested to check in early and check out late and this was no problem at all. The hotel is 10 - 15 minute walk from Eiffel Tower which is lovely, myself and my husband walked to all the main sites furthest being 1 hours walk. I will definitely recommend to friends and family!

Not a good experience
One of my worst hotels in Milton Keynes. The decor was like a 1970's refit of fawlty towers (if you're into that era). This hotel needs a complete room refit. The one so called comfortable chair was stained all over, I did ask for this to me removed, but no one came to my resuce. @Novotel' how do you expect customers to enjoy their stay and relax when they see furniture with years of ingrained stains on them?, the bed was hard, no bounce to it. Chewing gum stuck to the carpet, dust on the light bulbs. Only 2 spare sockets and no usb sockets' I mean come on in this day and age when customers have multiple items to charge?. The worst bathroom, like being in a stone cave with evident water marks, plastic cups wrapped in plastic, the water took ages to go down the plug' so a shower in about 2 inches of water was not delightful. No hairdryer, no fridge, no complimentary water, towels although clean looked off white and grubby.

Been using the Novotel Stevenage for many years for meetings and in the new year they installed a new camera system for parking which resulted in a £100 fine in January - appalled as no warning or grace period for regular visitors.

Recently stayed in Paris at the ‘Novotel Paris Center Tour Eiffel’
It is actually a nice hotel, but frankly I only give 3 stars, since the toilet was completely separated from the bathroom. And again in the toilet there was no sink / faucet and toilet brush. I think it was quite strange and unusual for a big 4 star hotel. It's so bad...

On arrival to check-in at NOVOTEL LONDON WEMBLEY i was asked to take a seat while waiting for my family parking the car..i did the very normal thing and took my seat and loosening my laces due to swelling & pain of legs and ankles after a four hour car journey, while taking in my surroundings as i waited. I was approached by the man on reception and told they would not be checking me in. When asked why he referred to myself loosening my laces and looking out of the lobby window stating i was "twitchy" i replied that the reason was ridiculous asked to speak to management informing him i had suffered a traumatic brain injury a few years previously and why i was to him "twitchy.he claimed he was management. I also informed this man that i was traveling for a family event at Wembley arena with my husband and nine year old autistic son. I asked are you really going to put a family traveling with a disabled child on the streets? He shrugged his shoulders and said "so, there is plenty of other hotels around here, so im sure you should go and find one more to you and your familys needs. I have to protect my hotel and quests from you!

After a recent stay in Novotel York Centre, I was very dissatisfied with their health and safety procedures after an extremely chaotic and disorganised display of incompetence from management and staff when the fire alarm went off overnight. Guests were not properly evacuated or head counted and despite this occasion turning out to be a false alarm, I find this very worrying. Had it been a real emergency there would certainly have been risk of serious injury at the least. Their customer service response to this complaint was also woefully inadequate.

To whom it may concern,
I am staying at Novotel in London. This is my worst experience with the brand of Novotel, as I am a regular traveller and a member of the Accorhotels. I want to draw your attention to the following 3 mismanagement things:
1. Staff at the check-in desk both dishonest and deceiving
2. Breakfast experience is just awkward!
3. random people in the hotel
At the check-in I asked to give me a particular room, and the member of staff confirmed the room will be as asked. Upon arrival to the room I found that its completely different to what was asked and then promised.
Breakfast. I book it hoping that I would experience the best service and breakfast. In fact - it was worse than in the Holiday inn. There was only eggs and bacon. All the rest was either close to its expiration or distasteful. And no service at ALL!
Random people drink and laugh in the hotel disturbing stay. Those people flooded the hotel after some kind of a festival and were very disturbing.
Worst ever stay!

It happened that a booking was incorrectly made to this Novotel Bristol hotel for 3 night for a total of £320 for a single room. I was not even supposed to go to Bristol. I called the hotel the morning after asking to cancel the booking because it was a mistake and I was not even supposed to go there at any time. The hotel cancelled the booking and instead they immediately charged my card with the full amount of £320 pounds. The money left my account the day after I called even if the booking was going to start 5/6 days later. I have never seen an hotel taking money from a customer account before the check out, the money are reserved but never taken before the check out. I told them that I didn't need to go to Bristol and somebody used my card. They didn't care and they refused to refund the money. They offer the possibility to change the booking within 6 month but I will not be returned the money back if the daily rate is cheaper of the existing booking and that I will have to pay more if the daily rate was higher. Oh! what kindness they offered, they are so magnanimous that it broke my heart. I told them that I have no intention to be in that hotel but they kept refusing on the basis that the policy is for booking which cannot be cancelled. Right, so because of a policy made up by yourself then you feel entitled to keep all the money without doing anything at all! They have millions of money and cannot refund a misery of £320 pounds. They acted as if they've never seen money in their life. There are people in this world which work very hard and honestly for £320 and the people in this hotel are only stealing from their customers. What was the problem in refunding £320 pounds for a booking which was wrong and I am not going there at all? They had no loss, no damage, nothing changed in their hotel and still they wanted all the money.
