Quite simply the worst airline ever.
Do not use the airline.
Fobbed off with a substitute airline for flight to New York.
Evelop. Who are they. Unite frankly the rudest and most arrogant of any flight attendants I have ever known. Unless of course you are Spanish and then they will quite happily talk to you and ignore everyone else.
Inflight entertainment didn’t work and was rudely informed some work some don’t and had to constantly ask for a refund for faulty earphones.

Change a regular ticket for 550 Dkk per person / per way. That is insane!!! I bought two tickets for Tenerife; it cost me around 3100 Dkk. I bought the tickets through NORWEGIAN VISA CARD (which by the way have insurance and ticket refund and all) But due to sickness, we couldn't travel. They told me, they won't cancel/change the tickets for free because; the illness must be listed on their insurance-list and not all diseases can be counted as a sickness in their terms !!! And when I asked for a change, they told me to pay 550/person/way so in total I must pay 2200 Dkk more plus price-difference. But funny enough Price-difference goes only ONE WAY, means If I found a flight another time and it cost 3400 for two persons, then I must pay 2200 Dkk + 300, in total 2500. But If I find two tickets that cost 798 (399 per person to Malaga fx), I still must pay 2200 for changing and NO refund from 3200 (3200-798=2402). So basically, the cheapest is to buy new tickets and FORGET the old tickets. That is not fair at all...

I tried to change a name on a flight ticket as the person had got divorced. I was told I would be charged £100 to do it over the phone, or go online and pay £40. I tried to do this online, but couldn't - even tried their live chat. Phoned again and explained, but was charged £100! When I wrote and complained, it took 3 months to get a response, but still no refund to date!

Terrible booking experience. Unfairly charged for a flight I cancelled on the same day I booked it.
I booked a outbound and return flight over a month in advance. Unfortunately, due to serious health challenges of a family member, I realised I would no longer be able to make the trip. I cancelled the flights on the same day I booked them. I found out 3 days later that only one of the flights had been cancelled (likely an IT error on their system as I definitely did). In any case, I cancelled the ticket a few days later and explained what had happened. They refused to refund the ticket, despite their system not processes my original cancellation and my second attempt to cancel happening only 3 days after booking and still a month in advance.
I would not recommend using these services.

Very mixed experiences.
We have used them to fly to New York and found them easy to book with, the technology onboard was good, choice of movies etc acceptable. Meals okay, although the booking process isn't always the clearest to point out what you get and what you need to pay for. Although prices are reasonable make sure you have a card with you as cash is not accepted.
Flights were delayed with little to no communication. There was a system for letting those with a transfer onboard the plane first but then no assistance when the flight was delayed and we could have missed our connection. This all struck me as inexperience of a new airline.
Still the quality of the planes, additional leg room, and the technology for short haul flights meant we booked with them again this time to fly to our wedding! With all the logistics of travelling with wedding dresses etc I contacted their customer service team who proceeded to send me copies of my booking and my luggage allowance. I explained again that no matter how hard I try the wedding dress does not fit their box dimensions and could they please confirm that so long as it fits in the overhead storage it will be allowed onboard. I was told it wouldn't be, and that there was no one more senior who was willing to speak with customers. Disappointing.

I flew transatlantic with Norweigan a couple of years ago and they were great, so this summer I ignored the reviews and booked with them again ... BIG mistake! They’ve grown so much over the past couple of years, and far too quickly for the company to handle.
I arrived at Gatwick for my flight to New York which was due to take off at 6pm, and it wasn’t until past 7pm that we were called to the gate and told the flight was cancelled, as the plane was experiencing the same issues at yesterday. Surely they knew before 7pm that we wouldn’t be flying then? The staff were extremely unhelpful and just directed us back to collect bags with no further information. We were told there then was no flights for another 3 days and we would need to find our own places to stay.
Thankfully as I was travelling alone, and there was a brilliant manager at the airport (who needs a promotion to a better airline) they managed to get me on the one spare seat the next day. By this point I had already paid another £300 to re book my accommodation and internal flights in the US.
I finally got on the fight the next day, and it was a Wamos air flight & crew, not Norweigan at all. I hadn’t been warned of this in advance, but the only response I can get from Norweigan is that ‘you were told’, so that’s helpful there! The flight was the most cramped aircraft I’ve ever been on - we had no room to move, no entertainment systems, no air conditioning, the old tv remotes were screwed into the sides of the seats, and some of the overheads flew open on take off and landing.
Safe to say I was relieved to land safely in the US. It’s all well and good posting that you have some of the newest aircraft, but how about advertising that these are mainly used for short haul?
Please do not book with Norweigan until they have managed to catch up with demand and can run flights on time and on their own planes.

Good experience on flight to Oakland USA from Gatwick.
No issues at all really.
Both legs on time, and return arrived 45 minutes early.
Good food, adequate range of films.
Flights were on a new 787 and flight times were convenient.
Were cheaper by several £100s than the next available.
Having read the reviews, maybe those poor experiences were just exceptions, or we were lucky. Any business with thousands of transactions, will always have some small percentage of failings.
Minor gripe, is that I would have preferred the 2nd meal/snack earlier than just before landing as a 8 hour gap from 3pm during the day was long. They could have offered more water, although paid drinks are available throughout.

Appalling service from Norwegian, 6 weeks before I'm due to travel they contacted me to tell me my outbound flight is being operated a different carrier who offer a lower level of service, and my return flight had been cancelled and I can only travel 12 hours earlier or 24 hours later. The alternative flight that I had to book onto (I couldn't use either of the options they suggested) was again run by a different carrier with a lower level of service. All they could offer was an apology, and the customer service department refused to speak to me unless I submitted an online claim-which I can't do unless I spend an additional £600 booking with another airline and hope they will refund my flight and pay the additional cost. I find it unbelievable in this day and age that I'm not able to complain about the fact I'm paying for a service that I'm not receiving.
