Staff was friendly & professional. We had several meals; the salmon & salads were excellent. The linguini (& I’m Italian from Jersey ;) not so much.

The staff at Northern Outdoors were very helpful and friendly! They accommodated to even the little things! The cabin was cleaned and had fresh towels every day after getting back from our daily ATV’ing adventures! We’re already in the process of planning our Spring 2020 trip! 😊

We were on one of you smaller groups rafting rides and had a wonderful time. Kristine was very entertaining and all our other contacts at the lodge were equally helpful and friendly. we both would repeat the adventure if we visit Main again .

Brand and Lisa were amazing from the very beginning of the reservation to the last day. The woman that waited on our table on Saturday was perfect in every way. The ATV ride was fun and a perfect experience. I will never be able to thank everyone enough for making this weekend perfect.

I like the Kennebec river raft as its a great mix of white white with some down time at the end to relax. We eat on the river which is nice and the food was really good. I've been on other rivers with these folks but the food back as the lodge took forever and really wasn't as good and this doesn't make sense does it?
Food aside, we went on Maine Day - fantastic deal for a family of 4. Rafting was great, not a huge release but plenty of white water for younger 1st time kids. Guides are great and seasoned.
Additional tidbit, if your guide tells you to paddle regardless of how tired you are - paddle. It positions you to enter a set of rapids correctly. We watched a raft flip in front of us that should not have flipped but folks got lazy & some beat up pretty good in the water and it was all pretty much avoidable. We had folks thrown from our raft with a seasoned guide trying to help out the folks bouncing in the water and not doing too great. The lodge is a great set up with decent food and drinks at the bar. Rooms are dated but work. I'd recommend.

Wonderful place to visit, brought our 3 dog’s and had a blast. We rode our e-bikes along some trails along the Kennebec river and was absolutely beautiful. The foliage was at its peak. Went for a nature walk up to Moxie Falls with stunning views. Great appetizers, food and cocktails. Cozy fire to warm up in the evenings or sit on the porch and enjoy the brisk air. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Everyone was super friendly and ready to help with any questions. No one really knew too much about the hiking around the area as much as we were looking for but we still found great hikes to do.

Great staff, nice location, good beer. We will be back!
We tent camped down by the river, the tent sites are a bit on the smaller side compared to the tent cabin sites. Shower facilities were nice and clean. Food and beer at the brewery passed our expectations of a campground restaurant. Our guide/driver for the river float was professional, courteous, and funny! The only downside was that they didn't have a good IPA on draft at the time and the campfire wood they sold was awful, too green, barely burned.

We love coming up to Northern outdoors to raft the last blast! Usually ever year we have no problem with booking. This year kind of was chaotic, didnt make us happy but Brandy is the best and in the end was fine. The cabins are always nice and clean and the restaurant is great to eat at. We also love all the guides! 13times rafting obviously we will be back next year!

I would definitely recommend NO. Food and bar were really good with friendly staff. White water raft on the Dead River was awesome. Two fishing trips were good. We caught some smallmouth bass, but not as many as we would have liked, but then who does?? My major complaint was the room, in the lodge, was very noisy on Saturday night, but I was forewarned it might be. The bars of soap in the bath are way to small and the water temperature in the shower kept fluctuating.

The rafting was fabulous, and our guide, Alec, was terrific! Lunch on the river was delicious! Everyone we met was very friendly. I'd say there could be improvement in the food at the lodge; what we had was mediocre at best. In spite of that, you're still getting 5 stars. We've been rafting on several rivers in the States and other countries, and the Kennebec was a really large time!

First time back in 20 years and just as fun and well run as I remember. Our guide was fantastic and it was great to see the brewery. We drove up in an RV. The campground was quite with plenty of space between sites and offers a scenic location along the river.
