I have been shopping at the Nordstrom Rack at Redondo Beach since they opened. The service and policy has gotten from good to never want to shop there again!!! The store manager, Lisa Matsuno, told me since they are discounted store, do not expect any customer service treatment.
This the second time around that I had received attitude from her. If you shop there, make sure there won’t be any problem with your purchase, otherwise, no one will help you because you are shopping at Nordstrom Rack only.

I ordered gucci glassed that was white! The email shows white! They sent me a purple pair. Than told me 15 business days to get a refund smh.

I drove 45 minutes to Nordstrom Rack In woodlands hills last night around 6 pm. When I get they didn't let us in , they we are closed. On line shows that store would be close at 8 pm. Talk to manger in this regards. She said we closed. Basically they didn't care. General manger of this store has no basic knowledge of management skill. Very disappointed the reasoning that she gave us. On top of that security gard getting involved of decision making.

I ordered Tissot watch they sent me email next day saying package was ready for UPS! I work at UPS and it never even hit our drivers truck no scan in 10 days after I had shipping upgraded! Called 15 times and got runaround on several 45-75 minute calls the item was supposed to be one of three left while I'm talking to customer service I check site and watch is back on there for $160 more tell me to order it and they will return difference in 14 business days(3 weeks)! Ask to credit me the money sale me watch at price I paid and send it next day air! Shall see how it goes but I wouldn't order from them again! Spend a little more money somewhere else!

They charge my credit card in us dollars 268.64, never sent the item because apparently it wasn't on stock but it was on their website... and then reimburse only 256.34 $

I ordered shoes through their website. I had been hunting for a nice pair of simple black dress shoes for about six months. I found a pair of Magnanni
Mario Leather Derby shoes in my size. It was a brand I knew to be high quality at a still hefty, but manageable price. The order was in process, and due to COVID19 I figured things were just delayed. They never showed up. A month and a half later I talk to customer service. It looks like they never actually processed the order (no way for me to tell that) and as a result no shipment order was sent to a storage facility. They are now out of stock in my size.
The service agent was very nice and apologetic, but all they did was offer to allow me to purchase a shoe that was up to $30 dollars more expensive at the same price as my original shoe. There were a grand total of TWO black shoes this applied to, both of which were ugly and not at all what I wanted. What a joke. No "hey sorry about our screw up and wasting your time, here is a voucher or a credit you can use on any shoes." I will not be purchasing anything through this company again. They clearly do not actually care about customer service.

I’ve been shopping online at Nordstrom Rack for years. I’ve never had a problem with the quality of their products or their customer service until recently. I’m extremely disappointed in my most recent interactions with them. I noticed they had my favorite bra on sale so I ordered 3. When I got them, 2 of the 3 were incorrect. It appeared to me that a customer had returned 2 bras of a different style and placed them in the clear bags that were labeled for the bras I ordered. Shady on the customers part, but easily overlooked by a NR employee so I wasn’t upset with them....that is until I tried contacting CS about the discrepancy. Knowing what is going on with COVID-19 currently, I’m ok with delayed shipping and slightly longer wait times but theirs is currently beyond frustrating. The first time I attempted to contact them via live chat, I waited in the virtual line for 45 minutes only to be told by the rep that their system was down and she couldn’t help me and I should try back the next day. When I asked if I’d have to wait that long again, she disconnected without responding. She basically hung up on me because she didn’t like my question. Several LONG chat attempts later, I finally got ahold of a rep who initiated the return process. I really just wanted to exchange them for the right ones but she said I’d have to get refunded and re-order them. I sent them back about a month ago and still haven’t received a refund. Every time I attempt to contact them via chat to find out why, I end up waiting over an hour in the chat line only to get down to 2 or 3 customers ahead of me, and then get disconnected. This has happened multiple times! I’ve tried contacting them via email and my emails go completely unanswered. I know there is a lot going on in the world today and the stores are closed, but literally every other company has their CS working from home or socially distancing. Why can’t NR get it together? What the heck is going on with them? It makes me sad to say that I’m not going to be shopping there until they get this situation resolved.

and then you have to be on the phone two hours and I still never talked to anyone about my order this is ridiculous I ordered from puma, Nike and jcpenney and my orders never have problems and or nothing just ordered all kinds of diamonds from jcpenney and it never took long but Nordstrom rack is fraud and especially what's going on in the world as a company y'all showing me y'all really don't care and I will make sure I let ppl know what's going on

they charge me twice for a order recently and when I called customer service they said they would put a request for my money they took and then I get a confirmation that my order has been shipped and I have three chains now so if y'all didn't put in the request why do I have three chains instead of four chains so they took my extra hundred dollars and never stopped the other order and y'all saying that y'all see that it charge me twice I didn't get my money back and on top of that I have three chains instead of four so where's the rest of my money went I don't like this store no more everyone that will order online be careful cause they gonna make sure you will get charge twice for one order and then you still not getting what you ordered on top of that I'm so done with this store

NR took the entire month after I placed my order to let me know they couldn’t fulfill it. I placed my order at the beginning of the month. Received multiple emails saying that shipping was delayed. Finally at the end of the month they sent me an email saying they couldn’t fulfill my order due to inventory issues. Very disappointing. Will not waste my time ordering from this company again.

I placed an order using a gift card. Card was "spent" so I threw it away. A day or two later I received an email that the complete order could not be full-filled. I am guessing they credited the money back to the card that hit the trash. I've tried 3 times to get a service person to re-issue a card. I've been on hold all three times with customer service for over 30 minutes each time until I have to give up. Nice way to steal my money. I spend a lot with Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack. Happy to take my money. Not accommodating to give it back. Hello Bloomingdale and Saks!

I will never order from Nordstrom Rack again. EVER!!! This is the 4th time I have tried to order a pair of shoes. First time, I had to call and ask where the order was and they said, it was lost in their warehouse. Second time, I got an email saying sorry they don't know what happened. I ordered for a 3rd time (then again because the color I wanted was back in stock, yeah right) and i just received the order and in the box are Nike sneakers!!!!!! Are you kidding me? I sat on a live chat for 59 min and they answered then a note saying their computer was down to check back in an hour. I am now on hold (second time) again waiting for them to pick up. I am done with them. I love my local Nordstrom, but will never order from Nordstrom rack again.

Some items in my order were never shipped - 3 weeks after the order was placed. Customer service agents disconnect on live chat or quickly hang up after you've waited hours to speak to them. Very dishonest and poor customer service. Thankfully I am disputing it with PayPal. But never would have thought that a company affiliated with Nordstrom would be out to scam people.

I placed an order with Nordstrom Rack. After multiple delays, Nordstrom cancelled the order as they did not in fact have the inventory. They advised they had also refunded the charge they placed on my credit card. Three business days later my credit card still did not show a refund. I waited on hold with Nordstrom for an hour and a half- but without resolution. While everything is more difficult for businesses during a pandemic, I've had this experience with Nordstrom previously- so this is in fact a Nordstrom issue, not a COVID issue.

Too bad we have to choose a star for such horrendous business. If ever there was a time for negative stars, this is it. Bought my jeans over a month ago, website said afterwards sold out in my size. Then mysteriously, they were back for sale a few days later. After a week, tracking said package was at my nearest location. Unlimited Parcel Screwups said yes, we don't know what's up, but cannot deliver. Three weeks later one of the jeans (of two) shows up, and immediately I get a msg from Nordstrom saying they canceled my order due to "inventory reasons". Like, you sold items you did not even have? Why did they not tell me back when I ordered, and refund what they can't provide? These guys are on their last legs as a company, and they borrow from purchasers to fund their business. No customer service here. They are a rip!! AVOID!

They deserve zero stars. Ordered 3 items, only 1 came in the box and only 1 was listed on the shipping slip, however I received an email saying all 3 items were delivered. No option to report missing items and no getting through to Customer Service like the other reviews indicate. Wish I would have read these BEFORE ordering. Never again.

Horrible NordstromRack is you wrong sizes to get rid of inventory.
This has happened constantly. I think it was a ploy to get you to go to the store before covid 19.

I recently purchased sneakers the beginning of May. It’s now the 18th and I still have no sneakers and no notification whatsoever when they will be shipped. I realized that during these times shipments are slower but 18 days and no notifications! I tried to call 5 times no one answers their phone lines. I tried to email twice no one is responding to emails either. Feel like I will never receive my order.

SCAM BUSINESS..DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SELLER.. they do not sent the merchant and they do not have customer service. As soon as you place an order they will charge you but you will not get your order. their online site is horrible, you can not cancel, you can not return, you can not track your order either. Soon they will go out of business or a big law suit.

Ordered several items including a pair of sunglasses that was supposed to have shipped with another item. As you might assume based on the other recent reviews, the sunglasses were not in the package. Contacting them is impossible, emails are ignored and they will put you on hold for 50 minutes only to be disconnected without ever speaking to someone.

I was excited to make a couple of great finds after spending hours on their site. Every time you click on something it says sold out or on hold. Then recieve emails that the items are not available. They need t get a system that updates in real time like every other store. I have never, ever dealt with so many issues. Online shopping is a must for every retailer these days. One would think the rack would get a clue after reading the awful ratings. I imagine as long as people are spending. Unfortunately they process payments when one purchases, rather than when it ships. They are holding how much in their bank, gathering interest for weeks while we fight with customer service for refunds for products they oversold. They should be ashamed and perhaps sued if this is such a widespread issue. I entered a purchase agreement, not an agreement to loan Nordstrom Rack money for weeks.
