NEVER EVER USE NIGHTLINE!!!!!!!!!
Was supposed to get my parcel last Saturday , today is Thursday , still didn't get it. Lied every time I called customer care that driver came but didn't find me. Gave phone number on Tuesday so I could be called , still nothing. Waited all those days around the house like a foul so I could get the parcel, and still nothing.
Never delt with more r.e.t.a.r.d.e.d people in my life.
The 85% percent bad reviews are 100% accurate.
If you see NIGHTLINE on your orders I advise to stay away.

I was advised my parcel would arrive at a 9am-11am slot.
The parcel did not arrive. I waited around all day, and that afternoon the tracker updated to say it had not been delivered as the driver has been unable to call my phone.
The driver never came to the house and never called my phone.
Nightline delivers? Not my parcel.
Customer service line doesn’t work properly. I was cut off twice and when I eventually got through to an agent, all the could do was “escalate to a manager”, and had no explanation as to what that would actually do to help.

Terrible company! Virgin should not deal with the incompetency of this company. They cannot seem to do their job and then the customer care in Waterford are so rude and not helpful in the slightest. Stay far, far away from this company!

Ordered online from debenhams and unfortunately they use nightline to deliver. Days went by with excuse after excuse from Nightline as to the whereabouts of my package when you eventually get a hold of somebody on the phone, hours on hold. Never answer emails and then come up the excuse the driver lost it and I have to re-order myself, await a refund and then wait for it to happen all over again... NO, I've decided to pick it up in store. NEVER USE NIGHTLINE

Everytime a company I order from uses Nightline, I know I won't be getting my package delivered to the house. Drivers don't bother coming to our house and just leave the package in a shop 20 minutes away even though I keep putting the Eircode. They don't even bother phoning - just texting that this is where the package is. And it has happened more than once. I now avoid ordering from companies that uses Nightline.

One of the worst companies I've dealt with. Expected a package to be delivered 15.30 - 17.30 so ensured I was available at this time. No-one showed up and the Nightline tracking system had the nerve to note "business closed during normal working hours" which was absolute bullsh*t. 34mins on hold trying to get through to Nightline, and finally had someone decide to pick up the phone. Their further bullsh*t excuse was that their driver had to be pulled due to unforeseen circumstances. Customer service rep refused to provide a time for re-delivery and really couldn't care less in resolving the issue. How a company like this continues to do business with this attitude is beyond me! Will never pay to do business with Nightline again and will recommend to all and sundry to avoid like the plague!

Ordered a phone from amazon with next day delivery. Its since been three days waiting on the phone because nightline 'forgot' to stock the package in their vans when delivering. Paid 15 euro for the next day delivery. Will be getting that 15 euro back. wouldnt recommend

Most appalling delivery service and customer service. I've gone through hell with them over a delivery and came across this site by accident. I usually don't complain but can't understand why reputable companies use cowboys like these. In one delivery I experienced a multitude of the issues already raised by others. Stay away from them.

Claim I didn't supply a full address so they couldn't find it when in fact it was complete with an eircode to go along with it. Google maps can find the exact house with either of these details.
Still haven't recieved the package though it has been promised twice and not shown up.

Nightline driver blocked my driveway (again) this morning when delivering to 2 of my neighbours. When I asked him to move, as I had an urgent hspital appointment, he tried to wait for his mate who had not finished delivering, to return to the van. So, I raise my voice in exasperation and the drivers mate comes back and tries to push me, and I have to cower and defend myself in my own driveway. Foul and abusive language used by this guy who was huge. Guards were called by and a PULSE notice to be issued. I am a pensioner and my heart was racing. Very badly shaken by this ordeal. Beyond outrageous. This guy is crazy and dangerous.

Appalling service.I paid for express delivery to arrive on Wednesday but it didn't arrive until following Monday. Driver txt on Wed to confirm my eircode, but it didn't come so I rang him and he said it shoudn't have been on his van as it was outside his delivery area(he was 2 mins down the road from my house).My parcel was sent back to Dublin and I was promised it would arrive on Friday..it didn't.I emailed and emailed until someone finally got back to me and said they didn't know the whereabouts of my parcel and were going to conduct a warehouse search which would take 24-48 hours.At first they tried to blame me for not putting an eircode on the package,but I did and I had proof of my order with eircode present.No one got back to me, my parcel just arrived on Monday ....no explaination or apology.I really don't think they care for their customers or the parcels they carry!

Worst delivery company ever they’ve rescheduled my delivery 4times, customer care agents aren’t helpful and it takes them over 50mins to answer the phone. Eir mobile should stop using nighttime otherwise they will be loosing customers. This is unacceptable

Absolutely terrible. If you use oasis go to store or deliver to store to avoid these guys. Seriously. I called oasis after no delivery attempts or slips to say they called to be told they had tried 5 times. Well I have had zero slips, not left with neighbours and no way to chose a day. Simply appalling.

I only picked 1 star cos I couldn't find a half or a quarter star, biggest shower of useless c***s I have ever dealt with. Dont know how they have a business,wouldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery , that goes from people at bottom of ladder to the top , from losing parcels etc, if I actually explained the story normal decent people wouldn't actually believe me ,that's how bad a bunch they are ,I will never deal with them again, even hearing the word nightline turns my stomach now ,w*****s

Appalling service as always They never fail to let me down. My item expected today was signed for by an unknown person. I rang Nightline to tell them I don't know this person and where was it delivered. Was given the drivers number to ring myself and find out. I got no answer to rang them back and they rang him, eventually managed to get a call back from the driver to be told the individual who signed is an associate of his living down the road who will deliver the item to me later on guaranteed. It's now evening and still no sign. Rang Nightline back and they were going to ring back but still nothing. The items were an outfit that I wanted for tomorrow and now, once again, I'll have to trek around the shops to find one last minute. Have put a formal complaint in to Next and suggested they reconsider their choice of couriers and use one who is able to deliver on their next day promise.

Nespresso UK uses this company as well. I can honestly say I've never seen such terrible service. People say that, but I actually mean it. I've been waiting for the same package for three weeks. It's coming from a warehouse in Ireland and going to County Cork. They have lost the package three times and have lied repeatedly, saying they didn't have my phone number or postal code. Then they'll say it's on the delivery van and then don't show, saying they couldn't find me and they'll "try again Tuesday." I'm sure they're the cheapest courier option on the surface, but what they're costing Nespresso in follow-up trouble shooting and consolation prizes has got to be a lot more money. Companies let these couriers get away with it and it continues. They won't get it until they start losing contracts.

Arrival estimated 8:30-10:30 31/07. No delivery arrived in this morning. Tries all contacts given on official website. No contact. Suddenly found contact number. Lady picked up a phone and the way been talking to me was nice, but delivery quality awful. It appears that courier mistaken delivery address. If not being concerned and 10 times trying call to this services my delivery which worth is greater that 200£ would not been delivered yet. Fortunately, my girlfriend got delivery recently today, courier even has not apologised for this way service being provided.

I get a text that delivery is scheduled for tomorrow and the text with the delivery time frame will be sent in the morning. Next day I get the text, delivery between 9:30-11:30. Waiting at home in the living room, car at the driveway, doorbell on the door, but no sign of the courier.
11:45 I'm checking the tracking number as it's pass the time - the status say DELIVERED at 9:25.
Where to? Definitely not to me.
I ring Nightline customer service. An assistant with the attitude as if he was showing me grace that he even answered claims it was delivered to my house, but it wasn't. Eventually he rings the driver. Parcel was left at neighbours at number 2. I am asking where? On the left? On the right? My house is on the corner and on both sides are two different street names.
He doesn't know, just number 2.
Why not delivered to me when I am waiting at home for it?
Why left anywhere if I didn't specify to do so? I don't know my neighbours. I may be enemies with them.
Never mind it's left with strangers, but there no info about anywhere. either at the tracking number or a note in the door. of course, he would have to be at the door in the first place to leave the note.
If not delivered, bring it back to depot.
Who does that? What company operates like this?
The parcels may as well be thrown out of the van on the road while driving.

Waited in for my package, then tracked it to say it was delivered, which was not the case. Got onto Nightline to tell me it was left in a strangers garden. The person that found the package in there garden went out of there way to find where I lived and called to my house with it. Has turned me off of ordering clothes from Next when they use these cowboys of drivers.

I never experienced the like of it. into the second week of "we will deliver it tomorrow. But it never comes. I Think I will cancel Virgin and get now TV.
How could they still be in business?
Update: Yesterday they promised to send it by "premium driver".... right! today the entry is back at preflight sort after briefly been a backdoor sort,
It's beyond belief.

Had a nightline driver knock on our door with a tablet we’ve been waiting on. He spent 10mins arguing that we needed a pin, which neither virgin nor nightline supplied. After several mins on the phone both companies released the pin. We asked the driver to come back and were told he doesn’t want to, we explained we live beside the depot and were told he doesn’t want to again. We offered to meet him there instead of him making the 2min drive, they said address delivery only Mon between 9-5 we work 9-6.This is disgraceful customer service and I will be making a complaint, as recommended by the very unhelpful customer service agent on the phone. If we lived far from the depot we would understand but the driver said he wants to
take the other road as opposed to ours. This cannot be the protocol for a company this size. We’re now expected to take Monday off so the driver is not put out by the 2min drive or less than 1 mile we live from the depot.
I was then told since I work during the day I can have an evening delivery.
In the same message thread I’ve just received this;

Consistently grating delivery process when acting as couriers for Virgin media.
I have secure deliver parcel box on my home, which they won't use for high value deliveries. The box has a barcode that is scannable and waives my signature.
While compared to other cases in this thread, their dedication to security may seem commendable, but I find it so irritating that I now have to arrange to work from home (a privilege not available to everyone) for redelivery tomorrow... hopefully.
There are not enough touch points in the delivery system for the customer to modify or leave delivery notes, waive signatures or add instructions.
