You need to invest a lot of time, money and effort in order to get money worth mentioning out of Neobux. To add insult to injury there are hints that Neobux is actively using its members browser to attack competitors sites.
If you want to make some money on the side without having to invest hours infront f the computer I would recommend clixsense ( I will shamelessly post my referral link since it is also in my interest that you make money).
Even though clixsense hass a high minimum payout of 8$ you can earn 2-3$ on an average day in about 1-2 hours. If you are lucky and you are inhabiting 1st tier countries like the USA, Germany, GB, etc you mak 5-6$ on average just by completing the daily list.
So tl;dr : If you want to make some decent money with negligible effort you should NOT try Neobux --> chances are that you will lose your money instead. Instead I recommend Clixsense : http://www.clixsense.com/?8029112

I tried neobux before maybe 2005 or 2004. But ever since they've put out their new scheme, it became very horrible. You have to constantly check their site if there are new ads to click, if not, you will miss the chance on clicking it. For me, it has become a waste of time.

This site is Both good & Bad because the deal is to MAKE SOME SET OF INCOME....
it is ironic that the income to click on these sites & even partake to join "other websites to make money" thats usually the ads you have to click on to make like a penny?!!?
keep in mind, some of these sites harbor worms IF clicking around too* much
& links n stuff... Firefox or iexplorer sometimes Auto oPEN pdf. files
that some websites Automatically prompt (usually to show "instructions")
the thing is tho, when u click on the sites? the Neobux Banner has this 5 second countdown before you are PAID the penny interest or whatever the change might be in the future... i think you get more money referring people... & it probably increases your interest? idk thats what my mind is TRYNA perceive.. the site is kinda a ripoff too, cuz you get a 24hr limit of like 5-10 ads... soo you only making like Hmm.. 10 cents per 24hrs ... totall of MAYBE up to 2$ & some change or less..
the Ads are limited by numbers.....
what i give it??? Ehhh.... its Greenish yellow with me WOT!!
i actually went & got my feet wet.... (worth a whole google review on these Internet Income sites!! YOU WELCOME.....!)

-Don't invest if you play, just earn with standard member. Not really scam but very bad site, I'm golden member with 200 ref, after 5 months, I just received 12 $. Don't believe other people say, they're just big investor and NEO know the way to make a trap to every people who believe in mystery.
-Keep your money safe and invest wise on other site. Some site I know very small, but they're fair.I will play to get back my money and stop when my membership expire but this is very expensive lesson that I have learned on MMO world.
-Believe or not depend on you, but don't let you loose.Good luck.

While it's not a scam in an actual sense, the recent remodeling of the site, the addition of useless fees, the forum's massive censorship, the cult-like following and amount of deceiving and the constant psychological pressure on newbies (and recently veteran members) gives the impression of a scam just waiting to happen.
While the system is great and offers reasonable prices, the Admin seems to be far from it, closing topics at the sight of ANY negativity toward the site, and banning the creators of said topics. The referral averages are absolutely horrible and force you into a recycling and renewing cycle, forcing you to either spend more money directly from you pocket, or buy an Ultimate membership (980$ in total), which seems to be the sole way to profit. The referrals were insisted on being real, but the 4 million member statistic would not be enough to supply the required referrals to everyone, posing the question of the usage of bots. Another reason to speculate this would be the observation that directly referred referrals almost ALWAYS leave after the first day. Wouldn't this be the case for rented referrals? Why are private messages never activated? Why do they not show their names, but a random number instead? Do they not set their settings?
The recent 0.05$ per expired referral rule was voted on for just under ONE day, automatically choosing "I agree" for those not voting and those with a Golden Pack, which is extremely shady in my opinion. Deceivement ensued as we were promised other benefits (which were unknown to us at the time) in bribery for the "YES" vote. Those who spoke out against it were quickly banned (Me, Grizzly4agre, just to name a few off the top of my head).
I've been a member for over eight months (under the pseudonym "EricLeb010") with a Golden membership, active on the forums with 3000 posts, and was banned for speaking out against the new "0.05 per expired referral" fee. This PTC site proves that every good thing MUST come to an end sooner or later, and that the PTC concept is an unstable and unrealistic way to make money.
Apparently, NO online money making site is profitable. If you want money, get a job.
