Honestly, I don't think it's a bad organization. However, if you're going to sign up, make sure you have a support person in your market. I signed my daughter up as a Sophmore, and frankly what we got was our mailbox full of college pamphlets. NONE, for recruiting purposes. I ended up signing with NSR, last fall (start of my daughter Senior year). We had several visits scheduled by the middle of high school volleyball season. And just accepted a full ride, playing volleyball. I've got to say my experience NSR, crushed NCSA and the cost was half.

I am glad my mom made this investment. Without NCSA there’s no way I would’ve received the exposure I did in regards to out of state colleges.
I’ve done many, many camps and combines over the 14 years I’ve played soccer and still chose and now committed to a school that NCSA helped connect me with. I had way over 70 college coaches contacting me throughout this whole process. I was lucky enough to have a mom who flew me to many out of state universities allowing me the chance to feel things out. NCSA helped us both navigate and filter through my preferences. Playing college ball was a dream since childhood but I also knew my education was more important.. especially wanting to eventually achieve my doctorate. NCSA was a lifesaver! I’d highly recommended a membership!

Switched our coaching to a new individual Pretty early on and he wasn’t very friendly. Haven’t heard from him since.

Very disappointed in this program. I paid a lot of money for our membership and basically my son has not received any productive help or guidance. Luckily I figured it out before it was too late and hired another company which worked out to his advantage. I would not use them again and would not recommend their services to the hockey community.

I find NCSA overwhelming. We signed up about a year ago, and get tons of emails--so much that we simply can't keep up. I wish they were more specialized to our son's grade level/current year in school. The last time we had a conversation with an employee from the NCSA was the day we signed up....other than emails and webinars, I am not sure what we are actually paying for. I was hoping that some of the showcases would be free with our membership into NCSA. Otherwise, I would have just signed up for showcases here and there. If I could go back and get our money back from NCSA, I would. We do not have time to watch a million webinars and figure things our ourselves. If refunds are an option, please let me know!

NCSA was an efficient scouting website that allowed me to push myself out to a variety of coaches. It helped me make effective decisions based on school size, expense, as well as location and major.
