My initial contact with Navigators was in error as I was trying to reach another insurance brokerage looking for new coverage. Lucky for me Andrew Soares answered my call. He asked me a couple of questions gave me some information and I now have a new policy at a price that I was looking for. Andrew answered all my questions, was available at all times and was always pleasant never pushy. Thanks Andrew!

We have been a customer of Navigators Insurance for more than 20 years. With very short notice from our lawyer/mortgagee requesting home insurance coverage for our new home closing deal, with the help of the Customer Service Rep from Navigators Insurance, we managed to provide the insurance binder to our mortgagee within a day. We really appreciate the excellent and prompt service from Navigators Insurance.

IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE THEM A 0! I actually registered just to write this! Last year I called them 5 times asking for my renewal paperwork for my home insurance- they blamed it on economical. Thursday I have received 2 envelopes from economical: first renewal for this year asking $514, second finally renewals from last year in the amount of $350. I called them immediately to ask what is going on. The women on the phone not only was completely unhelpful and could not understand me, but when I took a deep breath she actually said to me 'just relax'..?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!? ...I was not rude, I did not raise my voice, I was speaking with her in a calm manner as she is my ally and asking her to help me. My response to that was 'excuse me did you just tell me to relax? I am your customer'....she quickly said she did not mean it that way. Anyways she said she cant do anything for me then, since economical was closing soon (it was 4:30pm) but she will get back to me. Fast forward to Tuesday I receive another paper from economical for renewal and not the word from 'brokers'. I call again and this time I get Vivian. Again Vivian does not understand what I'm talking about, Vivian is saying how notes in the system are not recorder properly, how she has no idea who I was talking to. Ok let's start from beginning. My policy was this now it's 30% more, there was no claim, there is no change why is this happening? Vivian said 'well that's what it is now and it's not your fault but nothing we can do about it'.....ok so I said 'aren't you going to try to find me a better thing?' she said 'well do you want me too?'.....I said just send me cancelation policy, because it seems like I'm inconveniencing you'....'she said, ok I'm going to send it to you'....I was shocked I asked 'you are just going to loose a customer? Can I speak to your manager?' Her response, 'you can't speak to her now, she will call you back'.....I asked for managers name and she said 'Devika'. More then 24 hrs later I have received this email from Vivian :
'Attached is the Policy Cancellation Form for your Condo policy. Please signed the form and return it to us. We will cancel the policy once we receive the signed form.
I have talked to our manager about your Condo renewal and done a review of your policy with the other insurance companies, and Economical still seems to be the best company we have to offer for your current coverages.
Please feel free to give us a call should you have any questions.
Well what Vivian does not know is that I did not hold my breath, based on their previous response time. I got in touch with another broker, got cancelation policy from them and already obtained same policy from Aviva for $354/year. I will now cancel my mothers policy with them, and everyone I know will hear about this. Shame Shame Shame.....what would happen if God forbid I actually had a problem or a claim I needed help with?!?!
P.S. I wrote this review on google as well....guess who called 2 days later to discuss my situation? Devika ....it was 9 am on home phone just happened I was still there. I said that I left my cell for her to get in touch with me, and guess what...she was not aware. I repeated my cell number, explained I am running out but to please call me in 30 minutes.......guess who did not call? :)

Customer service needs a lot of improvement.
Need to have extensions for staffs. Can’t call and speake to 10 different staff when you already dealt with another staff previously on the same topic.

I have police report saying it was not my fault and they are still saying I'm at fault... I also have been into the office numerous times and the person I gave the police report to never sent it to my insurance company but said she did.. have sent her email since she's never in the office apparently and still no reply ..its been months !

Unable to receive competitive rates. Had to search for myself. Rep said she had searched 20 providers and could not find a better rate. I made 1 call and found same coverage $900 cheaper.

Jennifer White has been very supportive in response to any and every question. She is truly a human asset. Very prompt and knowledgeable.She is the reason I am with Navigators and would continue to be with them.
I have recommended people to her company but they did not follow up with her. Never was Jennifer's fault.
