Not returning my calls and emails after paying money and promised to relieve us from foreclosure.
After contacting a Making Home Affordable Government site well over 6 months ago, we received a phone call from Brian James from Nationwide Audit. We were and still are facing foreclosure on our home. We had already gone through other government agencies who couldn't seem to help, but he assured us that working with him we finally found true government aid and we didn't have to worry anymore. Our prayers had been answered. Several days of constant contact were spent with him giving us instruction of how this would work, down to the last detail. He even had us look at a better business bureau report supposedly proving he was legit. We gave him all of our personal information as well as $1500 in return for his obtaining us a never changing modification loan. He was consistent with his contact at the time, reassuring us every step of the way that everything agreed upon with our bank was going smoothly and right on schedule. He asked us to resend some of our personal information, such as pay stubs and bank statements, but having been through this before, was standard procedure so we thought nothing of it. Our first payment was to start the beginning of February of 2014. February came around and not only was a modification never completed but our mortgage has been sold to another lender and Brian James has since not returned a single phone call or email. Coming up with that $1500 was not easy for us to do and to get nothing at all in return except our credit score becoming even worse as well as our being even closer to losing our home is devastating!! We don't know what to do or where to turn now. If anyone has a life line for us please post something. We don't want to lose our home!!!!

Requires you to pay fee and they do not deliver on promises
Company contacted me stating mortgage company sent them my loan modification application for approval. July 10th was told I was approved and to send (4) $375 payments to be made July, August, Sept. and October 2013 for Risk Management which would protect against foreclosure. Bank is foreclosing and Nationwide not responding to email or phone messages. Mortgage company states there is not a loan modification on file for me from this company and no loss mitigation which Brian James assured they were in contract negotiations.
