I was a domain reseller with namesilo. I lost my password. When I tried resetting it using my email, it was such a hectic process. They asked for my ip address, proof of payment etc. It was just so annoying for such a simple thing. And it's not even worth it. Their coupons for bulk purchasing are trash, you save only like 3 cents. Website interface is terrible. I mean there are literally thousands of other better options. Namesilo is just not worth it

I bought a domain for 100$
When I wanted to transfer this domain to a german hoster, they told my, the domain is not my any more, another agency has now the rights.
I was NOT informed of ANY deadlines or got any information about the depending delection.
100$ gone
Seems like I am not the only one who got ripped of...
The costumer service is - so to speak - not existent

I i nformed (via live chat) that they were hosting a scammers website.
The person I was chatting to "Alan", requested I fill out an abuse form which I said I did not want to as it would take more of my time up.
He bluntly told me it as not his responsibility when I am sure he could have passed the message on.
Very lazy and rude support.

They steal and grab your domains - beware.
Please Avoid NAMESILO at any cost if you want to save your domains.
While their policy states 33 days for domain renewal grace period, they steal your domain on 29th or 30th day in the name of auction. Would never recommend anyone to go with namesilo.
Its totally unsafe to do business with a company like Namesilo, please go with registrar such as godaddy or namecheap.

Namesilo are the registrar for a large number of domains being used to host fraudulent LEGO websites. These websites are advertising discount LEGO using compromised Facebook accounts. They appear to be conducting credit card fraud.
Namesilo have been repeatedly told about these sites and whilst they have eventually suspended some of the domains, they refuse to take action against others which are pointing to identical web sites.
Namesilo require that all reports are made via an online form and any emails sent to their published [email protected] email address are ignored or receive a boiler plate response telling you to use the form.
Some reports made via the form have mysteriously disappeared and Namesilo claim that they cannot find them. They refuse to investigate this or to do anything about domains which they have been repeatedly informed of via email. They seem to enjoy being obstructive and unhelpful.
Namesilo have also done nothing to proactively investigate all of these linked domains, identify other domains, or close down the account(s) which are constantly registering new domains expressly for the purpose of fraud.
Essentially, as long as they get paid, Namesilo don't care and are happy to permit fraud. Presumably this is why they appear to be the registrar of choice for fraudsters.

Namesilo replied back false information. Company has already verified this as well.
I've had to report them for other things, the fact that they will respond with an outright lie is just childish, pathetic, and unprofessional... again, avoid this business unless you want to deal with a bunch of nonsense just for trying to point out something.
Also the fact they went on a public forum giving out my private account information shows how childish and unprofessional they are... especially since the info they gave was false.
Namesilo should try to screw their wives instead of trying to screw customers.

spamming harassing criminals. i contacted them to deal with spam and they harass me in email sending me the same misleading email 7x then block me on their website chat box. their abuse department abuses people! then they give a template reply to my review and everything they say is bogus! i used the spam reporting form and they reply 7x telling me to go to the phishing abuse form when its not phishing its spam. and namesilo IS the network provider! its registered and hosted by namesiol as per whois! but they refuse to acknowledge this and keep telling me what you see below over and over and over below is a perfect example of the ignorance i been dealing with for 2 days from this company

I am no a direct customer with them but they came to my attention while investigating a rise in spam to my inbox.
Usually, most spam are domains registered with Namecheap but now NameSilo is taking over them. All of a sudden I had hundreds of emails land up in my quarantine folder, all domains had the same format; 3 letters followed by 4 numbers. Someone is bulk buying these domains from NameSilo, I check them via ICANN. No doubt the hosting occurs around the world.
I did write to NameSilo but there was no response. They must know this issue exists but while they are making money why would they do anything about it.
So, not impressed by them at all.

I’ve been a longtime customer of NameSilo. As such, I occasionally find myself needing customer support as I try to do new things or make a mistake. I continue to find that NameSilo’s customer support is responsive and excellent - especially compared to getting something done from a registrar like Google. When combined with their great value and focus (not trying to sell you every service under the sun) I highly recommend NameSilo as a longterm high value Registrar that you can depend on as a foundation for building value. Pick your partners and building blocks wisely - NameSilo is worth your consideration.

Live chat worked very well when I needed help figuring out the DNS record settings for a new host. Alek took a long time with me, walking me through the entire process and teaching me what I needed to know along the way.

The ONLY reason I'm giving NameSilo 4 stars is because Dani on the chat line. She was the only one who gave me any real help. Before that I was getting pretty frustrated with them, since my settings got all messed up for some unexplained reason. SHE gets 5 stars!

I have quite a few domain names on different services. The most precious one I have is ue dot land. My last name. It is also my professional page as a socialworker (20+ years).
I needed to renew my name, and funded my account first. Miscalculated. Long story, but ...
Dani @ NameSilo Support fixed the problem by getting me an exception.
Thank you! And blessings from this Norwegian monk

I was using this website to purchase a Domain. It was a premium domain that was available for sale. I needed help purchasing the domain so I contacted their customer service. Within 5 minutes the domain was unavailable for purchase. WOW! Unbelievable! Now they want me to pay $20 to Negotiate with someone who randomly bought the domain all of a sudden. Shame on this company! When I messaged them back about it they started playing dumb and pretended they didn't know what they just did. I have all the pictures of the domain showing it was available. SCAM website! If you see something just purchase it first before contacting customer service so this does not happen to you or just purchase the Domain from another company.
