Pre-ordered a the 1975 rose gold necklace with the release date of the 3rd it is now the 8th with no dispatch of the item. In hopes to clarify this I had to navigate through the endless pages to get to the contact us/problems page and despite attempting to contact them over many days have not received any response nor my product.

I had ordered some clothing for my little brother off the playstation store 2 whole f*cking months before christmas. I never got an email saying there shop was shutting down or anything. I eventually went to the playstation gear website to check and turns out myplay shutdown, I wonder why? (Maybe because they are f*cking thieves) This cost me a little bit over $50 (excluding shipping) and I'm pretty f*cking p*ssed. Good f*cking riddence, these money thieving crooked c*nts deserve to be shutdown.

Ordered items on 12/5/16 and have not received any updates regarding delivery status. I have sent 3 messages through their help form on the website and have yet to get any response. There is also no phone number to get in touch with them. Also sent them a Facebook message earlier today. They have no problems sending me marketing emails daily but cannot respond to my simple request of when will the items ship. Very disappointed. This is my first order and very, very likely my last unless I hear back from them with a tracking number.

On Tuesday April 12, 2016, I ordered two Naruto cosplay headbands, one for myself, and one for my husband. I waited and waited for about two months before I finally checked back to see what could possibly be going on with my order, and I was informed that it had gone on "backorder," and should be available to be shipped soon. First of all, their site had said nothing about limited quantities, and second, could they not have ACTUALLY INFORMED ME EITHER WAY?? So I continued to wait... and wait... and now here it is, today, 8/14/2016. The item no longer exists on their site. Hell, the portion of the site that I bought the crap from doesn't exist anymore. I demand a refund of my $43.33. I used to have a decent sum of money, but with recent happenings, I could use that extra cash in my pocket instead of in the hands of these filthy crooks.

I ordered a vinyl double pack on special offer (Miles Ahead Soundtrack * Robert Glaspar Reinterpretation of Miles) from MyPlayDirect in the US and was very disappointed to receive only one of the records as part of the offer.
When I enquired they took at least 4 days to reply with a very generic looking email saying they had moved offices and all of the orders had been lost on the system and that I shouldn't worry as the money for one of the records had been taken from my account. As I ordered from the UK combined with shipping this made it very expensive in the end. I've been buying records online for years and found this to be the most frustrating experience so far. I would never use PopMarket / MyPlayDirect again neither would I recommend them to my friends.

I bought a Nas vinyl for Christmas. The content download did not work and on 31st January I wrote to My Play Direct requesting their assistance; it is now mid April and they have effectively done nothing to resolve the issue despite numerous chasing emails. I have paid for music which My Play Direct will not provide and appear completely unbothered by the fact that I am highly unimpressed with them. Having read message boards I know for a fact that the problem I have with my download is not an uncommon one; therefore there is simply no excuse for their conduct. I would advise that people avoid using this company.

I preordered a CD with gift box, photo cards and bracelet October 2015, it was supposed to arrive on the 13th of November but didn't arrive til a week or so later. I then noticed the photo cards (and box but did not see this until later) were damaged, I emailed support about it and after a while got a reply with them promising me a 50% refund, of course I was very grateful but now almost 6 months later still no refund. I've contacted them multiple times about this and they keep saying they'll put my information forward to the billing office immediately but still no sign of it actually happening.
I'm annoyed and disappointed, how long will I have to keep running after this company until I get what was promised? I got stuck with damaged goods and lousy service.

I ordered a couple of things from this store TWO MONTHS ago and they still haven't even SHIPPED! It was a pre-order claiming to ship between April 4-6... yeah right! May 14 and still nothing. And best part is that if you go on the website now to buy the stuff I pre-ordered, it's no longer a pre-order! They claim they have it in stock! So why don't I have mine? Super shady all around, placed another order for a few items that all said in stock then the second the order went through the private order status page said they were all actually backordered. They straight up lie to customers saying things are in stock or will ship when they actually don't even have them at all! You only find out AFTER you've gone and put in all your information and confirmed your order that they flat out lied to get you to buy it... and the customer service is an absolute joke. Expect scripted responses that are absolutely zero help. This isn't even the only time I've had problems with this website (unsurprisingly). I ordered a hat a while ago and they sent me a completely different one from what I ordered months after I ordered it, and then when I contacted them about it the hat I did order was sold out! So I never even got it! Just a joke of a company, it's such a shame that anybody would choose to sell merchandise through them. I will never buy from them again and I will do everything I can to stop other people from making the same mistake I did. Do not buy from this company! You'll never get your stuff!

They remind you that you'll see the estimated delivery date when you continue and fill in your adress, but this was not the case. I only got to see the estimated delivery date after payment.
Also I wanted to cancel my order 7 minutes after I bought the product. I contacted their customer support and got a reply after an hour saying that they couldn't cancel my order, because it was "already processed for shipment" after one hour when they received the order!. My shipment was planned two days after my order placement and they can't cancel this? Now they rather want me to send the item back as a refund when I receive it . The latest estimated day of delivery is on the 4th of May. So considering I have to sent it back to the United States it will probably take 1-2 months more before I get my refund.
So instead of cancelling my order 1 hour after payment, they rather have me wait 3 months, sent the item from the States to the Netherlands and have me sent the item back from the Netherlands to the States for a refund. Absoluty stupendous. If they really can't cancel my order after it has been purchased one hour ago (7 minutes ago if you don't count the time I had to wait for a response by email), they really should restructure their system.
I do not recommend this site/company for buying merchandise based on TV-series.

The title of the review says it all really. I ordered the Jean Michel Jarre Electronica Fan Box part two on 5 May 2016, the day before it was to be released.
Since it's release date it has been listed constantly as "In Stock" on their website. I have emailed a few times to ask when I can expect delivery only to be told that they are waiting for more product to be delivered. I assume this means that it is not in stock, contrary to what they say on their website. I have found my contact from their staff to be perfunctory almost to the point of rudeness.
To be absolutely frank, I am appalled by the worst customer service I think I have ever received, anywhere.

I was unsure if I would be able to change the shipping address for an order I placed in Dec. for a pre-ordered album that is scheduled to ship next week (2/26/16). I sent a customer support request and was notified within 3-4 hours that my address had been successfully changed. No problem so far, and I hope to receive my package at the correct address in the coming week.

In November, last year, I bought Il Divo concert tickets via Ticketmaster, for a present for my wife for last Xmas. I paid extra for the package to include the new Il Divo album. Ticketmaster notified me that MyPlayDirect would be sending me the album. I didn't notice on their email that it would be despatched immediately, or within 30 days.
I heard nothing from either Ticket master, or MyPlayDirect, and initially forgot that I was expecting the album. A couple of weeks ago - Feb 2016 - I realised that I hadn't received the tickets or the album.
Tickets often come just before the concert date, so I wasn't too worried, but when I chekced when the album would arrive, I found the notification that I should have received it within 30 days of my order.
I immediately contacted MyPlayDirect, who were quite quick to acknowledge, although their investigation response took a fair bit longer.
They started blaming Ticketmaster, despite me forwarding them Ticketmaster's notification that the album would be despatched by MyPlayDirect. They then told me that the didn't stock the album anymore and if I wanted my money back, I would have to chase up Ticketmaster.
I have been back on to TM, who are blaming MyPlayDirect - clearly the two companies hate each other - and am now backwards and forwards between two unprofessional and incompetent 'businesses'... all for the sake of about £10. Clearly if MyPlayDirect are so desperate for £10, that they take the money and then fail to provide products, then I understand that their business is, quite rightly, going down the pan.
Avoid at all costs as they will be looking to rip more people off.

On 04/12/2015 we ordered a Bring Me The Horizon - That's the Spirit Deluxe Edition Boxset as a Christmas present for our son. After 5 months and 11 emails it has NEVER arrived. All 11 responses from Myplaydirect have said exactly the same thing, "we will forward to our billing department for further information".
Order number 0057670899 was charged and paid (via paypal) and then the order was cancelled (by myplaydirect) as there was a "technical issue our end". Myplaydirect state that they never charge for any item until it has been dispatched.
REALITY - WE HAVE BEEN CHARGED. WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR ITEM AND WE HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND IN 5 MONTHS.
We have provided this poor excuse of a company, proof of payment from both our bank and paypal account on FIVE separate occasions and still myplaydirect deny charging us. Each time they have said the information will be passed to the Billing Department. All of this information was supposedly sent to the billing department for the first time on 18/12/2015. Now, SEVENTEEN WEEKS later and still NO BOXSET, NO REFUND AND NO REPLY FROM THE BILLING DEPARTMENT.
I am astounded that a company like Sony would ever want to be associated with a company capable of nothing more than complete and utter incompentance.
Myplaydirect are dealing with merchandise on a global scale and yet have a non-existent customer services dept, no live-chat and no contact telephone number. They are simply hiding behind a single email address which is obviously ignored most of the time.
After 5 months of going round in circles, I have been left with no other option other than to resort to a public review site to highlight the issues and risks of shopping with myplaydirect. In my opinion, this is nothing short of fraud.
I would welcome a prompt response and resolution of this issue.

While I was hesitant to email the company my concern, I did it anyway, and I was pleased with the quick response even on the weekend. They understood my mistake and helped rectify it immediately. The only issue now is I bought something at the end of February and now it's out-of-stock, so we will have to wait longer for the gift.

I ordered my roommate the vinyl conflict:slayer complete lp set on december 6th and got a conformation email saying it will be shipped between the 9th and 11th. 12th rolls around and no shipping confirmation email. I look back at my original email and in the ORDER CONFIRMATION email it says status:canceled. So i click the tracking link and it tells me the same thing. So i try to fnd a contact number, but the site doesnt offer one, probably because they pull stuff like this and dont want to deal with the people they rip off. So i send them an email with my question as to why it says my order is cancelled, get the "we'll respond in 24hrs" BS. Because 2 days later and 5 days after it was supposed to be shipped i still havent heard anything back. 12/15/15 finally heard back, turns out they dont actually have any in stock and now 10 days later my friends birthday has come.and gone and he never got his gift because these people dont know how to run a website, customer service or to check their inventory. This site sucks and I wpuld save the hassle and the stress and just pay a few extra dollars to buy whatever it is you are looking for somewhere else.
