My daughter received the loan offer in the form of a check in the mail for $569.92. Once upon a time bigger banks used to send these out in much bigger increments. Like Capital One, and I did except the check from capital one, and deposited into my bank account and used the funds to get new furniture after my ex and I split up, I let him take the furniture and our bed, it was a mutual thing. Being in the day in age I wouldn’t have ever thought that some places still did this, I mean it’s been almost 20 years ago when capital one sent me one. Well in regards to this company, that has several different names, Covington Credit, sent this loan check offer to my daughter. She brought it over to me and wanted to know if it’s legit and if she should cash it for a repair on her car. So we did some investigative work, reading reviews everywhere, reading the website info, and the small print with a magnifying glass. My daughter is 24, I want her to make her own decisions, even if it’s a mistake. She’s been living on her own for 5 years now, and she makes good money but sometimes things unexpected come up, and I always try to give her advice and tips. She has been paying her way this entire time on her own, but this crap upsets me the most. Young adults seem to be targeted in this line of loan garbage, always the most vulnerable. If she had excepted this loan, with the interest they charge, she would have to pay nearly a grand back. There’s no way I could stand by and let her make the decision to take the offer. She would have to rob Peter to pay Paul kind of thing to get it paid. I can’t see where a less then $600 loan is worth risking other things, like electricity, food, and so on. We did see what the cost of interest would be if she put the repairs on a one of her credit cards, and it still would have been a lot less interest. Instead, in the end I decided that I would give her the loan, just what she needed to fix her car, no interest. I think these loans are flat out ridiculous, those interest rates are worse then a credit card! They really need to stop taking advantage of these young adults, they do it because they know they can’t resist the idea of having the money, and that they have a lot of issues like bills and children. Then they end up in trouble trying to pay it back, by taking money from their rent, or food for their children. In the end, it’s the customers of these places that get screwed!

They call you the day your payment is due 10 times a day wanting your payment, and all the contacts you list. And then they want 5 items of collateral for a 600.00 loan, I will never due business with them ever again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. They showed up at my door when I wasn’t home after 30 days past due threatening to have me arrested for “check fraud” over a 30 day past due loan??? Called and spoke w/a branch manager who gave me false info of what the installment payment owed balance was due to finding out online when I went on to pay it. Advised the woman of my pay dates, shows up again to my house when the payment hasn’t even been past due yet? On top of that, I reminded her of my phone number. She lied and stated left messages, but never really did. She stated “We have over 2000 accts and can’t be leaving messages all the time” These people have the time to go to houses, but don’t have the time to leave a message? Makes no sense! Never dealing with again after I pay this off. They try to rip you off and threaten you (even when you’re not past due). I’ve had a payday loan from 2 other companies, paid them off, and never had this type of harassment, or any issues like this when I was late.

The staff especially the mgrs are demanding and do not have any consideration for the customer. Unexpected situations happens to all of us whether its medical, automobile, unemployment, or where we live.

Your loan would be $600+ And you have to pay back almost $900 back, the interest is wayyy to high, and when you read the small print you have to pay so much to activate and this and that gibberish it's a waste of money. They supposedly help you with debt but to me, they're putting you right back into even more debt. smh.

getting the money is easy but this last month I made my payment on time as all of them have been...My branch has called me 5-6 times about my payment that was already paid. I questioned them why and they were smart elic about they didn't know the other people in office had already called. I'm like why call me when I am never late? I sent them confirmation # just so they would leave me alone. They called me again 8 days later arguing with me about having made my payment. I told them I sent confirmation # and I HAD PAID LIKE I SAID!! They are determined I told them I was gna be late! WTH! FINALLY she realizes she has my info on a wrong account..NO APOLOGY AT ALL!!! Still speaking in same harsh tone about how she was gna fix my number. UNPROFESSIONAL. An apology would have been nice!

I signed the papers for the loan that they emailed me. Then I called and let them know that my husband did not want me to get it. The lady said they would void the papers. They did not and I got it anyway now I am stuck paying on a loan I did not want.

MyMoneyToGo.Com is PHENOMENAL !!! The service I have received is incredible. I needed a loan so desperately and when I received an email saying I was approved, I thought I was reading it wrong. I spoke to customer service representative, Amber. She was sweet as a bag of sugar and so helpful. I did some quick online paperwork and ,Monday morning , my money was in my account as promised. You guys are A+ and 5***** !!! Thank you everyone !!! 🙋🏻🙏🏻🙂🍀
