My smart-matches system didn't work and I called the service-center .The lady told me what to do and said that if it didn't work within 48 hours ,I had to call back .Nothing happend ,so after 48 hours I called again .I had the same lady on the phone . She asked a technician and he saw the problem . It was my ow mistake, in stead of only letters I had put figures in the place of the first name. The system didn't recognize the "name " and found no matches .Problem solved . Thank you ,My Heritage-lady ,more fun making my familytree.

I checked my ancestry on myheritage and got 97% of one origin and 3% of two others that I can identify in my genealogy from far away. How can I interpret those results though? how many generations do you trace back?

My wife started a trial period with MyHeritage and cancelled it on 28th September and got a confirmation email saying everything had been cancelled. MyHeritage then proceeded to take a years subscription from my wife's bank account without her permission, as they should have deleted her card details when the account was deleted.
we have emailed them and opened cases 6 times now without any response. their customer service is an automated mine field and a joke. Steer clear of this website as they did the same thing to me and ended up having to refund me.

I had an issue regarding not being able to use the service for one year. They refunded my money. What organization does that? I am astounded that this organization takes into consideration their customers circumstances.

I started my 14 day trial because I wanted to try it out. I just used it one time and decided that I didn't need it. Knowing I had to pay if I don't delete my account, I requested a cancellation because of course you can't delete the account yourself. I requested the cancellation way before my trial ended and waited a few days: no response whatsoever. Wrote an email to the support team to remind them that my cancellation request is still pending and just as I suspected they completely ignored it. Now my money is gone and I guess I can't do anything about it. Thank you. I absolutely do not recommend MyHeritage and I will tell everyone to stay away from this website.

I saw a groupon for a my heritage kit. I've wanted it for a while and as it was on sale for 47 dollars I clicked by. It then said I needed to click on the website (theirs) attached in the description. I did . I only saw one button to click for purchasing the myheritage box on the website so I added to cart for 61 dollars. I figured when I went to go cash out it would give me the ability to add my groupon code. I put my address in and it said it would need my payment info for shipping which was fine as on groupon it said I would have to pay the shipping. I clicked send . It then said purchase complete . Ummm what? I went through the groupon site and had absolutely not way to enter my code on the my heritage site. I saw that it charged me two times for 61 dollars. Apparently in the fine print it said the 61 dollar price was for two kits at 61 per kit. I also paid the 47 for the groupon for a kit I wasnt even able to get. So now I have a groupon and two kits coming. Almost 172 in at this point and all pending on my debit. This is unacceptable. I tried calling customer service. Selected the refund option and it no joke sent me to an answering machine!!!! I called twice this morning. Have heard nothing back and this will post before Monday!

With a mum half North African half Polish, the result of my DNA test showed 0% of Polish/Arabic ancestry. My twin brother did a test with another company and got the right results. I went ahead and had another DNA test showing my Polish/Arabic blood.
The worse here is, I called Heritage and asked to talk to a supervisor, I asked for another DNA test as I felt the results were so wrong, but no-one returned my calls. In the end, I had no other choice but give up... that is so wrong!

I called today on your 1800 number - to correct a mistaken renewal of membership on my account.
I was fortunate enough to be answered by Steven. I was treated with understanding and efficiency. He understood and accepted my concern immediately. He was friendly and courteous. I remain amazed by the speed and efficiency with which he dealt with my concerns and left me feeling better for talking with him.

I contacted My Heritage as my membership auto-renewed and I hadn't realised that would happen. In two days they have responded and arranged a refund. Excellent and helpful service.
