I purchased from this online company that sells several "weight loss" holistic products. Along with my purchase there was a stated money-back guarantee. The add specifically states that purchaser can "try this product for 30 days" and if not pleased, they will refund all money when you send back the product. Well, that turns out to be untrue! I made a purchase for $98 online on August 6, 2014. I received the product about 7 days later (Aug 13th). I began taking the product when I received it. Since I had read that I'd have 30 days to try the product, I assumed that meant I'd have 30 days from the time I had the product in my possession. I can't very well "try the product" while it is still being shipped! So, after trying the product long enough to ascertain that it didn't work, I contacted the company for instructions on return and refund. I made that contact on September 11, 2014. The company responded that they would not give me a refund because it had been more than 30 days. I explained that they stated I have 30 days to try the product and that the product had not been in my possession 30 days to try it. They replied that the 30 days starts on purchase date. Clearly, this is false advertising. I contacted them 33 days after purchase, but 28 or 29 days after I received the product! They mislead the consumer by stating one has 30 days to try the product. If they had said 30 days from purchase, that would have been accurate. However, they state that you have 30 days to try it. Thus, they are not honoring their advertising.
