First, when I called for an appointment, they were not able to confirm my insurance coverage. I had to come into the store to confirm that I should not be charged for a contact lens fitting since it is covered by my insurance.
Second, know that there is not an optometrist in this building. The 'refractionist' is in a remote location and appears on a TV screen in the exam room. This was my first experience with telemedicine, and was not a good experience (communication problems) or result. When given my glasses script, I questioned why my script changed dramatically (weaker in one eye) than what I have been wearing for the last 10+ years. Lacking an acceptable answer from the people in the store, they stated that they would ask the remote optometrist and get an answer. The only answer I got was that the remote optometrist was confident in his script and refused to change it. No good answer for why I am happy with my current script and why they think my right eye had dramatically changed??? I asked if I could speak with the optometrist and was told that I could not.
I came to get a script so that I could order a new pair of safety glasses at work. I was not comfortable getting glasses somewhere else with a script I believed to be wrong. They offered to have me go to another optometrist and then come back with the other script??? At least they agreed to not charge me or file my insurance. The only thing this experience cost me was 2 hours of my life.
Please also expect a hard sale on glasses after you get an exam. When I told them that I would not be getting glasses, I was asked 'WHY?". When I said I was considering contacts, the response was "well at least you're getting something here"
They still had the 'grand opening' banner on this new store, and it appears that they still have quite a few bugs to work out of this new concept in eye exams.

I am pleased with the service I received during my eye test on 10/26/19 at the Kendall location. Oliva, Ashley and Flora helped me throughout the process and I can only say THANK YOU for all you do!

Highly disappointed is an understatement. They lure you in with the 2 for $59 but after the virtual eye exam oddly enough I didn't qualify for the special. So after all the so called discounts, I ended up spending close to $350. I should have just walked away and cut my losses. I was never contacted to pick up my glasses either. Definitely would not recommend nor will I be a returning customer. The quality of the glasses is not worth the money. Total rip off!

STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!! SNELLVILLE LOCATION- This was the worst experience I have EVER had purchasing eye glasses!!! I ordered two pair of glasses in March 2019 and did not end up receiving them until August 2019! There were so many problems with the glasses that they had to be returned several times! The prescription was incorrect multiple times and once they were even broken by the lab. They came with really dark tint twice and had to be returned. They would call and say they were ready for pick-up and then when I would arrive at the store they were not there. At this moment the prescription I'm wearing is still not correct and the glasses are making me dizzy. They actually charged me for an exam that I never had and refused to refund me. I even emailed receipts as proof that I did not have an exam, however, NATALIE, the store manager REFUSED TO APPROVE A REFUND. They provide low quality glasses and customer service! I will NEVER return to this company and I would never recommend them to anyone! Horrible horrible experience!!!

I went to this location on 6/6/19. Should have left when during the first part of my exam the person that was helping me went and got another employee to help him. They fussed and complained to each other the whole time. Then my eye exam was done in a room with a woman on a computer screen. After I was done I picked out a frame that I liked. Natalie told me I could get two pair with my insurance. I used the one frame for both pair. One that was going to be a transition lens. I went on vacation and when I returned I went to pick up my glasses on 6/24. The transition pair was in the wrong frame. I told them and they told me maybe I just forgot what I had picked out. I called back the next day to ask them to remake them. The told me that Natalie was on vacation. On 7/2 I finally talked to Natalie to have them re-made. Got the call On 7/13 that the new pair was ready. This time right frame wrong lens. Asked for Natalie again. She said at least it is the right frame. Explained the lab is very busy and just messed up. Natalie said she would send them back again. I called back on 7/29 to check on the status. The person that answered the phone said we have them and I see that we called. I told her look at them and tell me if they were transition. She said no, which meant they had never sent them off. Asked her to get with Natalie and fix the problem. I was in the area on 8/10 so I popped in to check on the status.i went in with my husband along with another couple we stood up front for a few minutes. I told them they would be better off to leave. He said he had read some bad reviews but only wanted to get a RX to get glasses somewhere else. I went to the back of the store and found everyone in the break room. Talked to Natalie again. Told her I was not happy. Natalie blamed the lab again. I told her I wanted a refund. She said she could give me half back. I had her write it up and sign it. While I was waiting there was another customer there with the same problem. I still have my copy of the refund request but NO REFUND!!! I was going to call customer service but another review said that didn’t work either. So stay far far away from this eyelab. 😡😡😡

The eye exam was done by a virtual doctor. I had no idea there was not going to be physical presence. We were not told they were out of our network they just said oh we accept it will be 25.00 my exam should have been 10.00. No wonder the eye exam is free if you buy your glasses there. You don’t truly have a visit with the optometrist. They lie by omission and are not transparent about thier services.

This is the worst company ever!! I had waited months for 2 pairs of glasses and then found out that one pair had broke so needed to wait longer for those. When i asked for my presciption to be sent to me via email since i no longer live in the state in which this company is in, they said i needed a consent for them to email me it and that is a lie because if you request something, they should just be able to send it to your email no issues or extra steps. Save your time and money and don't get coned into coming to this horrible company because they will just give you the run around and not help at all.

I had a terrible experience with the so called "Office Manager" George, awful customer service, Virtual exam didn't work for me and had to come back to see actual Dr which is not at the office all the times. Schedule an appointment and had to wait for 60+ minutes after I was told just to go in without appointment the weekend before. George laughed at me and disrespected me and my daughter. He didnt want to give me money back. STAY far far far away from this company and people!!!! Several weeks after, they called me out of a sudden to say I still have some glasses there that I needed to pick up ??!!

don't buy anything from my Eye lab in Savannah GA. I took my 10 year old grandson there on a Sunday. After so many trips (an hour away) I still have unresolved problems... It took approximately two weeks to get the first pair of glasses. The second pair came in and when my grandson put them on he could not see far. I made the complaint and the attendant said to bring both pairs in to check them, no appointment needed.
I brought both pairs and my grandson yesterday after school and the attendant said that I have to bring him on a Wednesday because the doctor has to examine him and I said that he is in school on Wednesdays. They did not have a problem checking him and selling the glasses on a Sunday. This is worse than getting third world country service. I feel that we were ripped off... The next time I would keep business at my local Walmart!

I just wanted to bring to your attention some poor customer service at your Morrow, GA Eye Lab retail location. I visited your store on July 20th for what I thought would be a routine $45 eye exam.
I arrive at the store and I'm greeted by the General Manager Ruth. She informs me that her store does not offer a $45 eye exam for eye glasses. The exam is $95. She said the best she could do is give me a $59 exam that includes a pair of eye glasses. I agreed to the $59 and continued with my eye exam.
I came to pick up the pair of glasses on July 31st and informed Ruth when I tried on the glasses that my vision was blurry. She told me that it might take a while to get use to the glasses. I said ok and left driving home with blurry vision.
I returned to the store 2 days later with the glasses in hand and told Ruth that I need a new exam as I can not see out of these glasses. She said there is nothing she could do but refund me the $14.99 for the glasses. I told her your policy is 30 days to get a new exam. She said yes but that prescription is correct and I should be happy she gave me such a good deal on my glasses. Her husband and son didn't even get that kind of deal. By this time I'm getting embarrassed as she is getting louder. I told her thank you for the deal but I either I need a new prescription and new glasses or a total refund of my $59 so I can go to another eye glass doctor. The total point is to see clearly out of prescription glasses.
As of August 5th I'm still working with your call center for my $59 refund. This is crazy to have to go through all of this when she could have just given me a new exam. I have attached my prescription from "Eyelab" and a previous prescription from another doctor so you can see the difference in the prescriptions. I showed this to Ruth but she didn't care to see it.
My next step is to call the Better Business Bureau and Channel 2 Action News about this store.

This is not somewhere I would advise a friend or a even stranger to go to. It was made clear to me on the "guaranteed date" I would have my glasses is MERELY a suggestion and certainly not something they care enough to honor or apologize for missing. Their customer service leaves much to be desired. Even today, when I took off work to come in to get the glasses I was promised just yesterday, they still failed to tell me that they only had one of my two glasses ready. The lady I spoke with was cold, curt and rude. She couldn't even have bothered to check to see if my glasses were truly in. Truly worthless experience.
Take my advice, go somewhere else.

This has to be one of the worst experiences ever! Started off with waiting over 30 minutes for my eye exam to be done and I was the only patient there! What should have been a 30 minute exam took well over 90 minutes. Once my exam was done, I selected two pairs of glasses one of which was sunglasses. I explained that I had to have the glasses within 2 weeks as I was going on a cruise for my 40th anniversary and needed the sunglasses and was ensured by the manager, Christine, that it would not be an issue. A week later I get a call telling me that the lab did not have my frame and did I want to select another color or wait? They had known for over a week but did not call me to ask the first day. I expressed my displeasure and that I absolutely had to have the glasses the next week for an out of country trip and was again assured that the glasses would be in on time. Guess what, on the day the glasses were due I did not get a call so I called and found out that my regular glasses were there but not the second pair. Was given some lame excuse about the lab sending the glasses back for a quality check and they would not be in for at least another 2 to 4 days. All the manager Christine did was apologize and said she would call her Regional Manager. So I am going on the cruise without my glasses. To make things worse, the other pair of glasses came without the anti-glare coating I asked for and I cannot use them indoors.
Do not use EyeLab…. had they been honest with me, I would have gone elsewhere. Due to their lack of concern, I am now not able to go anywhere else to get the sunglasses. Shame on me for believing they were being honest with me when making promises.
