Update: 7/23/19. After the poor customer service I received on 7/19/19, the CEO, Michael reached out to me. He apologized profusely, for the disrespect that I received and gave me a full refund. I have decided to change my star rating from 1 to 3. However, my feelings on the COO have not changed. My cleaner Joann, was great and I would hire her again! She really did clean our apartment well, and took the job very seriously. She gets 5 stars! Michael as well, gets top stars for reaching out to me and making the situation better, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. I told Michael, that I will not change my review when it comes to Kenny (COO). He's arrogant, disrespectful, and a raging bully! As a first time customer with MyClean, you'd think he'd be all about customer service, he has no clue what that means. I'm glad I kept the appointment. My apartment needed to be cleaned asap, and Joann did such a nice job. If I book again with MyClean, and have a better experience, I will update my star rating.

Can't recommend MyClean enough. I've used almost a dozen cleaners and services, but found MyClean to be by far the best. We used them for two cleanings (before and after guests came), and both sets of cleaners were on-time, respectful, and friendly. Oh, and they were really good cleaners! It's clear the company selects and trains great people. It was also super simple to understand and book...even to make changes when necessary.

never pitched up to go through what needed to be cleaned on Saturday but emailed to say they would be there for the actual clean on Monday and then never pitched up for that. No calls, no emails, nothing!

The cleaning wasn't great. I ordered the service for my tenant. However, the tenant has to spend 6 hours for making additional efforts to redo the job. "We went through 3 rolls of paper towels and everything we wiped was black from dirt. I hope you can get some of your money back because I honestly have no idea what they did for the time they were in the apartment. There was still maple syrup spills in the fridge". After raising the issue to the customer services team, they don't even look into the issue in details, and reply with the email right away in less than 3 mins by saying they can't do anything. Not even considering and hearing further about the issue.

You'll have a great experience so long as you communicate well with your cleaner! I find the reservation system a little annoying that you have to email/call/text someone to edit an appointment, but they always respond immediately so it's not a burden.

It took a little while to find a cleaner that could consistently do a decent job, and I'd recommend it if you just need to cover the basics, like the sinks, tub, floors etc. But there's not a lot of incentive to stay with the company because the cleaning never really adapts to needs of my place. There's never a dusting here or there every other visit - it's just sinks, tub, vacuum, done. My wife and I take care of the basics, but we'd like a relationship with a cleaner that knows our place and how to touch up the little things that we totally forget about.

The thing with MyClean is, if you can find a good reliable cleaner, you're in good shape. Right now I have one of those, Brenda. But i had to go through a bunch.

First cleans were wonderful but quality and thoroughness decreased over time. I keep them because it's an adequate job, but mainly because the process for scheduling online is REALLY easy and it's too hard to find and schedule new cleaners.

Cleaners have very specific tasks that they know they must do and that's what they do - nothing more, nothing less. I sometimes have to remind a cleaner of task previously agreed upon. Cleaners are given a minimal time allowance by their agency to complete their cleaning. Price for cleaning is fair. Cleaners are generally in their 30's-40's.

Cleaning was poor
The various cleaners that came to the house seemed inexperience. In using a steam mop they ended up damaging the finish on my wood floor in several spaces. They tended to be 15 to 30 minutes late most times. In addition, they always seem to forget to clean or touch something. As a result we stopped using the service and would not recommend.

So far, haven't had a perfect clean after 5 months. Nearly there with my first cleaner, but then she left MyClean. Second cleaner didn't mop floors (I know because dirty mop pad was not nearly as dirty as when I mop, so I mopped with the pad she left to see if it picked anything up, and it was as if the floors were untouched). I keep the house usually very clean, so bi-weekly clean is usually a maintenance clean and extra elbow grease for the tough-to-do-daily chores, but I find those things go undone even after I specifically request them (along baseboards dusted, 2 air vents vacuumed).

It was adequate. Very obviously missed spots.
So maybe 10-15 minutes after doing this survey I got a call from their customer service. Very nice guy, wanted to know what happened so that I only gave 3 out of 5 stars. I explained why, it was the details that were missed. I purchased their mid level service and he rebated me down to their low tier service since it seemed to be inline with what the clean actually was. Their customer service is 5/5. But for the actual clean I got it with the cleaner I used was a 3/5. The guy I was on the phone with is selecting a different cleaner for my next time, so hopefully it will be better.
