I've been using MyCase since March 2016 and I couldn't be happier with it. My favorite features, as of July 2019, are: time tracking and billing, electronic payments, event reminders (both for me and my clients), task assignments and reminders (both for me and my clients), automated document production, and electronic intake forms, and no specialized software (it's all cloud based).
All this, and it costs less than less robust competitors.
MyCase is a great way to bring your practice into the 21st century.

From the very beginning the customer service has been top notch. Mediocre customer service seems to be the norm these days but that is NOT THE CASE with MyCase. I'm still on a learning curve and ALWAYS when I have called (and I can be a pest) they make me feel like our business matters. Being in busy law firm, I've not time for chit chat. That being said, they are precise to answer my questions and/or concerns in a timely yet friendly and professional manner. I can't ask for more. Think about all those with whom you do business and how many of them offer excellent customer service? If you're considering their services? It's a no brainer! Get on board.

It's a great platform to house case material. I think it's awesome because the developers are constantly getting feedback and trying to make it easier and more beneficial to running your business.
It has a task feature but it would be nice if there was kind of an alert that says a case has been inactive for a duration of time. Although I'm sure they are working on something to fix that issue.

We have a small firm, but since using MyCase we are more organized and file reviews are a breeze. It is extremely user friendly. It has helped us keep track of expenses, upload template documents, which saves time and money. I would recommend this case management system to every law office.

I am very disappointed that there is not better connection with email. In many cases I use a lot of email and while I know I can copy MyCase it is a clunky and outdated system. I also am sorry that MyCase has not integrated with Ruby Receptionists so I can easily bill for calls.

I have used MyCase for about 4 years now & love it. I used Amicus for over 10 years & while it had its strengths, in terms of all around performance & ease of use, MyCase is far superior. I also tried Clio & a system offered by Thompson Reuters. Again, no comparison. And the cost is quite reasonable. And MyCase is very willing to consider feedback on improving performance. MyCase has got my business until I retire!

MyCase is awesome. It allows you to connect with your client while giving them access to only the documents related to their case. It also allows you to let them pay their invoices online, message you, and track hours for each client.
My favorite part about MyCase was how it allowed you to make document templates for documents you use often, and then it would auto fill your document with that clients information. It's a real time saver!
The task feature was extremely helpful in helping our firm, allowing us to delegate tasks to each other, setting a deadline for the task, associating the task with a specific case, and then marking the task as complete. It allowed us to make sure everything was getting done timely for each specific client.

Not flexible for creating reports or accounts receivables. Customer service is great but they spend most of their time apologizing for the inflexibility and lack of ingenuity of the mycase program. You cannot create custom reports with only select columns; you have to create a report using preset categories + some custom fields, and then delete what you don't want in the pdf file. There is no way to customize reports unless you run it, save as pdf or csv, and then edit out the categories you don't need. Also, the accounts receivable report section runs alphabetical by first name. Who files by first name?

I've worked with MyCase, not only in the context of case management software, but also for web design. In everything they've done, they have bent over backwards to make sure I was satisfied. They seem genuinely concerned and motivated to provide the best service possible. For those reasons, I recommend MyCase.

My Case is relatively easy to set up and, so far, our clients really like its features. We're still waiting on our website and have not yet utilized the electronic payments option, so I can't comment on those. I am impressed with the software's ability to customize the fields and workflows and the template construction. From my personal experience with My Case, it has met or exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it!
My only criticism is that since I have had my demo and become a paying customer, customer service has not been easily obtained. We chose the software based upon the customization features and, to date, have experienced difficulty in getting those items to function properly. My sales person told me to email customer service, however I have not yet received a response to any of my emails to them. The sales team responded quite quickly and efficiently but since we got passed on to the customer service team, this has not been the case. This situation is the only reason I could not give My Case a five star review.
