I bought three blankets. Their website says “rest assured 100% money back guarantee.” But when I contacted them to return the blankets only 1 day after receiving them because I knew right away we wouldn’t like them, they refuse to take them back. They blocked me from their social media accounts. Definitely a scam. Hopefully I can work it out with my bank.

Rotten customer service
I ordered a blanket, it was so heavy that I could not even lift the box the blanket was in out of the shipping box. Sent an email the same evening but all I got was an email from Angel telling me to reply to her email which I did. I have actually sent at least 7 emails and receive the same answer every time. They are frauds and scammers, no phone number to call, the box was shipped to me by UPS from an address in Cicero, Illinois, according to the label, could not locate any information about this company. Sorry I ever ordered from this company, wish I would have looked at the reviews before my purchase. Will be filing a complaint with the BBB

I ordered a cooling cover for my blanket, when it arrived I found out from customer support after e-mailing back and forth that the cooling blanket was for there newer weighted blankets and did not fit the weighted blanket I owned. I return asked to send it back as it was useless to me, didn't hear back from customer support. I then filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after again going back and fourth with this sham of a company my complaint was closed. My calm blanket said that they had e-mailed me( I never received a single e-mail from them). I suggest if you want a weighted blanket to get it from somewhere else. They will only string you along.

I ordered this product with a money back guarantee once received was unsatisfied return it within the time limit and never received a refund! This is been going on for months and every email inquiry , they have no customer service phone number, comes back with the same response “Due to the volume of messages that were raised, we're experiencing delayed responses from the Ops Team.” How messed up is your product that you have such a volume of messages coming that you were unable to keep up!!! DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE FRAUDS

This is a terrible company!! They tell you that they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee, yet you are not allowed to open the box, or the packaging. How does that make any logical sense whatsoever!? You can not be satisfied with a product that you can not see or feel. I have tried to return a blanket for over a week now, with a run around about it, can not be opened or used. No one said I used that damned blanket. It is too freaking heavy to sleep with and not be suffocated to death from it! It is shifty, all you have to do is pick up the box and you can feel the weight shift from one side to the other, forget about taking it out of the box to feel it. Who knows if I'll ever get my money back, but do not buy form them!! Learn from others mistakes!!!

About the blanket, I'm afraid I cannot authorize a return because the 30-day return window only covers blankets that are unopened.
Our 30-day policy only applies to unopened/unused blankets. There are ties that connect the duvet to the inner weighted blanket. When you receive the blanket, we recommend unzipping the duvet to ensure the ties are secured so the blanket does not pool in one place.
I will get back to you as soon as I see the images. I will go ahead and send a replacement of the pink cover.

OK one I did not use this blanket i took it out of the Box and it was too heavy for me two your website says a 100% money back guarantee if you Look at the message I sent you it was dated for the very next day after I received a blanket now I work 12 hour days so when I got home that night and I checked out the blanket it's when I noticed the rip in the cover which you have to take out of the package to notice it and you have to take the blanket out of a Box to Notice how heavy it is. So for telling me that I can't get a refined is completely utterly unprofessional when your website says a 100% money back guaranteed and that's what I would like so I would appreciate it if you would give me a return address so I can send this blanket back or send me the right size blanket for me.

Bought this blanket three months ago to try it out. Didn’t really enjoy it. Quality was not too good. Ask for a refund but kept getting turned down until a couple days later. They wouldn’t let me return the eye mask even though I didn’t use it at all. But I returned the rest. This was about three months again. Still no refund. All updates say they are waiting on the warehouse. Which is BS. The customer service is horrible. No phone number just email and Facebook. Don’t waste your money here. Any more info needed go to mycalmblanket is a scam on Facebook.

Got my blanket last week. The box was water damaged. Leaving the smelling like mildew.. all I keep getting for a reply is can you send pictures. I have 3 times now. Should of read the reviews about this company before I ordered. ;/ Guess I'll never know if the blanket is even good or not.

Disastrous. After taking 7 months to fulfill our order (after continually following up) AND not receiving responses to several inquiries regarding the delay is poor customer service and terrible business practices. If that wasn’t disappointing enough, no discounts, exchange of products, or genuine support was offered during this extended time. We were expected to wait (months) for a product that we had already paid for. That’s really unacceptable.
Furthermore, I was blown away when My Calm Blanket finally sent the eye mask that was ordered on Black Friday and then requested that any negative reviews that were written about this experience be removed —as it was ruining their reputation and was making it difficult to continue business. News flash, just by fulfilling what we paid for is not fixing the disastrous experience we have had with their brand.
Mistakes happen, but My Calm Blanket didn’t take proper ownership which is critical to any sustainable business model. The lack of professionalism displayed to us over the past +7 months is the bigger issue. Ex: lack of empathy, over promising of shipments, ignored messages, and even erased comments on social media that was just requesting help. That’s NOT ownership. What’s making it difficult for My Calm Blanket to continue isn’t negative business reviews —it’s poor service. If their brand genuinely cared about customer retention they would go above and beyond to solve concerns and make things right. If they want better reviews, they should EARN IT!

This review is after 7 months of waiting for my order to be completed. My order number is C1248033.
Calm Blanket lacks reliable customer service and unprofessional dishonest business practices. I have reached out to their customer service email (hello at mycalmblanket dot com) several times over these past 7 months (which is the only way to contact them as there is no customer service phone number).
My order was placed on 11/27/2018 was for three adult weighted blankets which was advertised to each come with FREE weighted eye masks as a black Friday promotion.
I have emailed them on:
12/25/2018: "My order #C1248033 was supposed to include 3 weighted eye masks. Please let me know when I will receive them. This has been quite the inconvenience as these blankets and eye masks were supposed to be Christmas presents. It is disappointing that your advertisement for the Calm Blanket with weighted eye masks included did not arrive. I look forward to hearing from someone soon regarding this incomplete order"
Received a reply from Jay stating "The weighted eye mask is going to be shipped by January as the system is still combing through the orders that did not receive the masks"
1/22/2019: "I still have not received the eye covers that were supposed to com with these blanket purchases. These blankets AND eye covers were supposed to be Christmas presents so I am extremely disappointed with this delay and lack of customer service"
Received another reply from Jay stating "We are expecting the mask to ship out approximately this month. We're still waiting for the warehouse to complete listing the orders to receive the mask and go from there"
2/8/2019: "Hi, any update on when the eye covers will finally be shipped?"
Received a reply from Michelle stating "The first batch of eye masks has been delivered starting January till mid-February and then the next batch will be sent immediately after the warehouse sorts out the quality build of the eye masks tentative next batch is by March. Rest assured you will receive your and we will go from there"
3/11/2019: "I would like to follow up regarding this order. Please update me on the status of the shipping. We've been waiting since the holiday season for these orders to be complete"
Received a reply from Angelica stating "This month is the last batch for the distribution of the eye mask. Kindly, follow up with us when you did not receive this month"

I've been promised month after month after month after month that I would be receiving the rest of this holiday 2018 order. It's almost Easter 2019 and this order is STILL incomplete."
Received a reply from Ryan stating "The Team is aware of the unsent eye masks to some of our customers during the BFCM sale period. We are doing our best to send the remaining masks as soon as possible. Otherwise, we will decide a different solution for the affected orders. Watch out for email updates."
5/25/2019: "Hi, I am following up on three eye-masks that we never received with our holiday 2018 order. I have followed up and have been patiently waiting for many months and many stall emails from your customer service department. Not at all happy with this product. All the beads fall off to one side and I end up with light fabric on top of me, giving me no calming effect as promised. In fact, it wakes me up more as I roll around and all the beads are heavily clumped off to one side. Mine was a Christmas gift ordered by my daughter and I didn't even know until reading other reviews that I was supposed to get an eye mask with it... never received. This product sucks.

This blanket has improved my quality and quantity of sleep. I often wake up at 3 am and have trouble getting back to sleep. This blanket seems to help me sleep through the night and avoid midnight wake ups. I also awake feeling more refreshed and get to sleep a bit quicker each night.

As with previous posts, I too did not receive my full order from Black Friday 2018. I have followed up multiple times and they have finally stopped responding.
Completely unacceptable and will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau for the atrocity that is Calm Blanket.
They shouldn’t have overcommitted if they couldn’t deliver. I would never purchase from them again.

I was scammed by this company as well. I’ve emailed them 8-10 times about my “free eye mask” and it’s always some lame excuse as to why it hasn’t come yet. Even their responses to these bad reviews are bogus. “Keep an eye out for our email for further assistance.” Yeah, right. That’s all they do send reliably, bogus email. Terrible company. Terrible customer service.

Do not buy this blanket. I purchased The blanket in June for my daughter that suffers from anxiety. After a month I removed the liner from the weighted part of the blanket and noticed the zipper and 2 on the ties that hold the weight in place were torn. I was just trying to wash the liner due to normal use. I contacted their customer service and was informed that I was outside of the 30 day warranty. They claim my issue was pushed to another department but it’s been several weeks and I’ve heard nothing. This blanket may help with your anxiety but will not last. You shouldn’t pay $125 for an item and it fall apart that quickly. Their service department should have offered a replacement.

I ordered two blankets from My Calm Blanket, which were returned. MCB told me that they had to wait 75 days because of a hold from my bank. It's been more than double that and I still don't have my refund. Was told by customer service on May 9th that I should look out for information on my refund, but it has never come. Still waiting after 3 months to receive weighted eye mask. I have sent several emails. I will again forward you the emails that I have sent. It is under my name (Barb) and not my husband's. In December "Jay" said it would be shipped out. Then in January after I emailed again, "Ryan" said it would be shipped out during the month. It is now almost March. Would be great to get a reply and a time frame of when I will receive the eye mask that I paid for.

I purchased a blanket for my husband for Christmas and decided to order another for myself. After trying his a couple of times I decided I didn’t like it. I tried to cancel order before it had even shipped and I was told that wasn’t possible and needed to wait until I received it to return it. The day I received it, I attempted to return it. After a few emails back and forth, they stopped responding and unfortunately I gave up. So, 7 months later I still have the blanket unopened and I am out $170!!! Terrible company!!! Do not order anything from them. I can see by the reviews that this is just their typical way of doing business.

Same story as so many others. Blanket received. No eye mask. It’s been 5 months and constantly they tell me to be patient. And the blanket is meh at best. Just wanted to add my review to the many that exist. Don’t buy from them!
