Very poor customer service. The staff will say anything (including the owner R. Garner) to make a sale. When it comes time to ending or canceling the service they are no where to be found. I do not trust these folks, nor do I recommend them.
Teresa Gonzales is the most inept customer service manager I have come across. She will not return a call, she too will say anything, and the cancelation policy needs to be pulled out of her. Then she pretends like she doesn't hear my confirmation to end the service. Her lack of skill emanates in all the customer service workers. What a piece of work.

I have had the hardest time getting this company to install cameras in our home. Now 5 months after they installed 6 cameras and 8 additional service visits some taking 5-6 hours, the cameras are still not working. They get an A for effort and an F for results. Well meaning, polite but incompetent.

I switched from ADT to Mountain Alarm at approx. 1/2 the monthly rate and no switchover cost. Service was prompt and very courteous and they have a local office if I ever need them. The only minor glitch was I haven't yet received an e-mail confirming my no-rate-increase-for-three-years guarantee.

Mountain Alarm was a little difficult to get scheduled. They also had to come back because they didn't finish the job the first time but all in all the system is in and working. People were friendly.

As a building owner we were caught with a need to correct a problem with an alarm that the original company would not service (or could not because of some license problem). We thought we corrected it, but the new company we hired did not have an in city Denver license. Mtn. Alarm fiddled around, repeated the same procedure we had just done and paid for and then charged a gigantic connect fee. Until I contacted an owner, the salesman only returned calls when he felt like it.
Eventually they did get the alarm onto their system and then followed up
with a huge bill for doing that. Then a month later they charged a huge fee again for a yearly checkup, even though they should have checked it
up while hooking it up. Very u;nhappy, but had no choice as the fire dept. had filed a ticket in my name.

Ray and Cory in the field and Rose in the office have all been great to work with, resolving problems (only a couple) when they arise in a timely fashion. I recommended them to my neighbor, who also had a system installed (updated). Thanks for the good service!

Mountain Alarm took over after many with Armed Alert. They came out looked over our system to make sure it was up and working as intended. They have been good to answer questions and always on duty. Thanks.

I have had two things that have frustrated me. First when getting the contract made I tried several times to get the information given to the company correct. Who ever was taking the information could not no matter how many attempts could not get my name and the name of my company correct I finally went into the office for help with it and physically wrote the information down. Second the permit for the alarm was not submitted to the city. I was not aware that a permit was needed and that MA would be the one that should have submitted it. I received a ticket from the city. When I went to the city to submit the permit and pay the ticket I was told that most alarm companies will fill out the permit and pay the fee. I took the bill to MA and my account was credited but after almost 2 months of having an alarm it was very irresponsible to not have had the permit submitted.

My representative, Rick, was a pleasure to work with and made the installation in a timely and accurate manner. He was extremely thorough and responded by phone immediately when I had future questions.

My initial interaction with Mountain Alarm was very positive. Sales person responded to my initial request within a day. Since then, I have had to follow up a few times to get work scheduled. When they arrive, they do good work and I believe I will get good service in the future. I have had trouble knowing who to contact for what and am still waiting on a couple of responses to inquiries/requests. I have been told the last couple of months have been extraordinarily busy for the company. I can understand that, but not why I do not get responses to emails and calls.

Service person had to read from a manual the entire time he was at the residence. It took longer than it should have to resolve the issue and then the bill was unrealistic and not explained.

We feel a lot safer in and out of our home now that we have this security alarm system. Not that a brake in could occur, like a hit and run.
yet your alarm system may denture some one from even breaking in to our home.

I met with sales representative and set up what I wanted. The installer came and didn't know how everything was supposed to be set up. Installer did some weird things and placed some items where it did not make sense. Garage door equipment did not work. One of the locks does not work correctly. They charged me too much after not installing some of the items. I have attempted to get the sales representative to come out to the house so I can go over everything with them (and asked for additional items to be installed). The sales representative still has not come out. The motion sensor will go off because of the dog when they told me it wouldn't. I expected more from the company after spending so much money.

I have found the folks at Mountain Alarm to be friendly and eager to get the job done. Unfortunately, we have had a hard time getting the alarm system to really work. I have a 3rd service person scheduled to try to figure out how to make the darn alarm system work. Rather frustrating and time consuming.....

We have only had the system turned over from prior owner. The tech that came out was knowledgeable and explained thoroughly how the system worked. We haved armed it yet, but the monitoring has worked when we have had weather that has alerted the system.

The previous company who installed a system for us came out and installed the system, for the most part, then didn't show us how to use it, but instead, handed us a DVD to watch and rushed off. They gave us some sort of remote device to use for the boat but didn't tell us how to use it. Our rep made sure everything was done to our satisfaction and that before she left we had been instructed on how to use the system.
We recently encountered a problem, with the main panel falling off the wall. Upon calling, a technician showed up the next day and did a temporary fix saying he would order a new panel and would be out to install it as soon as it came in.
The system is very easy to use. Fortunately, I cannot speak as to how responsive the company is in the event of an emergency.

Technician showed up on time and provided an overview of what he would be doing. He primarily was at our newly built home to connect the alarms to central alarm via the phone line. He checked out the entire system and neatly arranged all the cabling in the wiring closet. He then explained the operation and walked us through setting up codes and password. Could not be happier. Rex was a true professional technician.

An installation date was set after meeting the rep. and paying for the installation.
The installation date has come and gone and there has been no word, or explanation provided for the no show!!! Doesn't look good. Have we been scammed?
