Carlos is the all around "boss". He pretended to contact the accounting department but never put us on hold. Argued that our card had not been charged when it clearly showed a charge.

Initially the sales guy was very helpful when we called about a dirt bike. We got a confirmation of it shipping and an option to track it, but tracking was a joke. The freight company never called, and the ETA was off. Finally received a very damaged box, ripped open, with the interior parts box also ripped open. Called to report it and get assistance. They said to send an email with pictures and explanation of the damage. We only wanted a new box of parts to ensure we had everything for our son's Christmas present. (Not opening until after Christmas so he can help put it together with his Dad.) After a week of no response from customer service when we emailed, we called to follow-up. Chris, the General Manager, was a TOTAL jerk. He was disinclined to send another parts box, wanted us to try to put it together first and THEN see what was missing. I offered to send everything back that we didn't use, but we are worried about not having what we need for our son. My husband finally chimed in and said we'd either like a box of parts or we can return it. Chris started yelling about not taking threats. I told him we weren't making threats--we were telling him what options we see. Chris talked over me, was completely condescending, and instead of sending out a... $50 (?) parts box, he brusquely said they'd pick the bike up tomorrow. Unreal! I've never in my life dealt had such a horrible "customer service" experience. Save yourself a headache and buy from somewhere else!

We bought a comrade for Motobuys and it's sat in my garage since the day it arrived (arrived broken matter of fact). Requested to send it back immediately. Was told they would set it up to return. Never did. Then said it would cost us $1800 to return. Requested the parts to fix it. Took literally 2&1/2 months to get parts, which ended up being the wrong parts! So now 6 months later we still have a broken $7000 garage ornament.

Motobuys.com out of West Hills California is the worst. Stay away from them. I wrote a bad review on BBB and they harrassed me for it. They commented and said I used stolen card info but they emailed me something different proving they are very un honest people. Just pick a different place to purchase from so you dont have a bad experience.

My 2019 Odes Comrade 650 cc arrived with damage to the lower drivers side body on 07132020. . Driver noted it. I called Bob at Motobuys thst same day and he told me to take pictures and send them to him, including a picture of the front bumper that I later saw to be installed crooked. I sent them. I called today and spoke to Chris and he said the request was never received. Chris was unapologetic and hung up. Dont deal with this company. They take you money and run!!

We are very DISsatisfied with our product from Motobuys.
The product was supposed to be for older kids and have more power, hence Big Boy Buggy name.
It wont even go uphill with a 60 lb kid in it.
The tires wont hold air and the battery wont hold a charge.
CHEAP JUNK from CHINA.
Pay more for American Made.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service. The guy on the phone, Bob Johnson stated he was the head honcho then proceeded to yell, curse and was beyond, BEYOND, rude and condensing when I inquired about my refund. Then he hung up on me. I feel like this company is a scam.

Where do I start? HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service from Bob Johnson who states he is head boss. He totally didnt listen, did nothing but argue and is beyond rude when I ask for a refund update. Just a warning. atv-quads-4wheeler.com = MotoBuys.com
All the bad ratings from Motobuys you can add atv-quads-4wheeler.com to see all the problems. I had a very bad experience with Motobuys.com so I ordered from atv-quads-4wheeler.com. To my surprise, My credit card was charged by Motobuys.com. I sent a cancellation notice to them and I am contacting my credit card to block all the charges. Good luck.

Horrible customer service! Sent wrong rim Sam Hale in parts was very rude on the phone! Hung up on me and sent me a return lable with inappropriate language as my name before the return address.. Supervisor didnt seem to care.. Never do business with them! Very Unprofessional PERIOD!

Bought this little bike as a commuter. It didnt work from day 1. The service people are slow getting back to you. I needed a part that had to ship from china so it took a while. Meanwhile your little warranty is dinging away while you wait. All warranty work is on you to do so I am wrenching it myself (although I do like doing that, I am just not that mechanically inclined so everything takes me a long time). Once the part was installed it started to rn, but it only pulls up to 2nd gear. It will go into 3rd but it immediately begins to lose speed. If you skip to 4th it slows down very fast. So this $1700 scooter goes about 25 mph. That is it. When I asked what we need to do to get this in 3rd gear, "MOTOBUYS" said "How fast are you expecting this vehicle to go? They top out at about 35mph with a smaller person on them". It doesnt say that in the ads. Some of the ads with their 49cc say they go 40 mph. I had a scooter with 49 cc that I could get up to 43 mph on level ground. So 25 mph is junk. STAY far away fromt his thing. Save your money.

DONT BUY FROM HERE! Scumbags are so disrespectful, worst customer service I've ever had. They want pictures of a credit card and drivers license because the shipping address is somewhere else. I purchased a Sand Viper T400, the UTV they shipped is smaller, I called Bob and he informed the size listed on the site was crate size and not unit size. (but yet I have an email from them giving me the crate size (which is smaller then what was listed on their website) so there is the 1st lie. No manual or check-off sheet to put UTV together or even check list for the parts. Called Bob again and he informed me it was on their website. ( it is not and even their Tech stated they did have it) Lie # 2.
Tried to work this out with Bob and asked him to make it right. He refused, so I stopped payment on my card until this is settled.

No return email after purchase! They sold me a defective scooter and refused to acknowledge my calls or emails after I bought the scooter and due to a fried wiring harness, the scooter shorted out and I was badly hurt! Then they have the audacity to treat me like garbage afterwards because I asked for an exchange. This place needs sued and I am ready to call a lawyer!

This company should be out if business soon. No way a company can conduct business the way Bob treats people. Like the other people said. Once Bob gets your money you are screwed, doesn't return phone calls or emails. And more than likely Bob will send what ever color he feels like it. Do not buy from MotoBuys. This company is a fraud and the salesman Bob is rude and arrogant. He will not let you speak, will talk over you. Once this company has your money forget getting any kind of service after that. He would not call us back or email us. We asked for a cancellation confirmation. He hung up on us and cursed us, he told us that he did not need our f#ck#ng money. This company should not be in business.

I agree with Samuel review, they wont return emails, or calls... I don't do reviews, normally, however, this one push me over the edge ...I had to call over & over until I finally got through and spoke with this very unprofessional person, Bob, who will not refund my order claiming it was fraud ..what the heck? I paid with my own PayPal.... LOL.... I had to fight this jerk to get my own money back and released back to me ..wow what an ugly experience...... Do NOT do business with this company.. there are many other reputable companies out there... this company should not be in business and they don't deserve our money.

Won't return emails or calls. Took two weeks to get someone on the phone to get my receipt. Said order was shipped still no tracking number. They completely suck and are worthless as far as any customer service goes.Wont make this mistake again. The only time they were nice was when i payed them after that there is no communication on there part.

Ordered 2 go-karts and was sent 2 different models...when I called the GM told me he had checked the vin numbers on what was sent me, and they were correct. I got what i ordered , and they wouldn't pickup and make it right. I asked for their legal mailing address and he did not respond. Have not heard from them anymore. Got screwed and they took my money.
