They have their watches listed for sale even though they aren't available at all.
I waited for my watch for 3 weeks. Once I sent a e-mail asking about where is the problem they've said to me that their "Delivery Partner" is having issues and they are going to contact them.
After 2 days of them not sending me any news about my watch, I've sent another e-mail to which they answered simply that they have cancelled my order and that the watch actually isn't available at all.
They weren't even planning on contacting me that the watch isn't available, they simply waited until I did something.

I ordered a omega watch for my wife's birthday, that is on 14.10.2019. I made my order on 11.09.2019. So, on the day of writing this review, my order is one month old. It was delayed a few times. On one occasion, on monday 30.09.2019, I got a message from Chris Duffy, that my watch will be picked up tomorrow (01.10.2019), and shipped to me on wednesday (02.10.2019). Ofcourse, when I contacted him on 02.10.2019, he just told me there is a further delay for 5 more working days. So, either Chris Duffy is a liar, or Montredo gmbh's official policy is to send untruthfull information to their customers. And, since it 8s an omega watch, we are not talking about a small purchase. So, I am still waiting. The day after tomorrow is my wife's birthday, for which I don't know what to do, since I spent all my money for a luxurious watch I didn't get. I will wait until the end of next week to see if my watch will be coined until friday, if not, will ask for a refund. So, in conclusion, go as far away as you can from this place, if you want your time and money to be valued. Order no #153253
P.S. I have ordered a few watches from jomashop, without any problems, and I wanted to switch to an European seller, since I hoped the time of the shipping will be quicker... Now I feel like a sucker.

I bought a 9,000 Euro watch, which was about 35% off the MSRP.
Montredo's customer service from beginning to end was excellent, and they were very fast in responses.
The watch was not brand new with all the tags and stickers. It came with the box and warranty card only. It looked instead like a floor model, and the box had marks and scratches on the inside and outside. The watch also had some minor scratches on the inside of the bracelet.
Montredo might be a way for watch ADs to offload floor models, which is reasonable for the significant discount offered. I don't fault Montredo on this, since they can't closely control what their sellers send.
If you're not particular about the condition of the watch you receive, and only want low prices, they're a great option.
If you want a watch in new pristine condition with all the tags, booklets, and stickers, you might want to pay a little more somewhere else.

I was undecided between 3 and 4 stars after my recent purchase. First of all most people will use Montredo based on price, the watch I wanted was much cheaper on their site than anywhere else so for that they cannot be faulted. Once I purchased the watch I was kept well informed and it came to my attention that the watch was not in a warehouse with them but was with a “partner concessionaire”...this may have been printed on the site somewhere but I didn’t see it.
I later got an email to say that the concessionaire would be sending to them and they would send it on, by which time the 3 weeks maximum delivery time was nearly up. I dealt with Chris via email and he was always prompt in replying albeit with fairly stock answers. I was given a date it should arrive which came and went and had to chase again. I have to say there was a lack of clear information when I chased but I was given a date they expected by once more and it did arrive. Once they had it, it came the next day to the UK from Germany which was impressive.
When you order your watch just expect them to have to wait to get hold of it from some stockist in Europe before it is sent on to you. My order took a month to arrive but it is an expensive purchase that I will have for years and at such a reasonable price I don’t think that’s such an inconvenience especially when there is an effort to respond and chase the item up for you.

Bought a Tag Heuer Carrera watch from Montredo. The watch was delivered before the promised date, and was as described, including all papers and warranty certificate.
Montredo support was professional and questions were answered within a few hours every time.

I had a very bad experience at Montredo. Bought a Tag Heuer Aquaracer watch. Everything was in order. seven days after The payment for the watch nothing has happened. The items wasn’t shipped and I started to worry. I decided to contact Montredo and then they told me the watch wasn’t in stock after seven days of waiting. And I haven’t received my refund

I was looking for a specific Hamilton watch and when Montredo appeared in the search engine with a significantly lower price than competitors I had to investigate. All of the reviews of Montredo were very positive and as the watch was advertised as "in stock" with a delivery of 1 to 2 weeks I decided to place my order. Communications by email from the outset were excellent stating the watch was on target for delivery but after waiting 2 weeks I requested an update only to be advised that there was a problem and that there would be a further 3 day delay because it had to be re-ordered from the manufacturer. I was offered a full refund from the start but I decided it would be in my interest to be patient. A week later it finally arrived, dispatched from Berlin in the afternoon and arrived at my door in the UK the following morning via DHL Express - impressed. The watch was obviously brand new, well packaged and I am delighted with it. I definitely recommend Montredo as a supplier and will purchase from them again. Worth the wait.

The level of service to start with is decent and what one expects nowadays - prompt shipment and regular updates.
Trouble starts the moment there's an issue with your watch and you wish to rely on the warranty/statutory right of return guaranteed in the EU. In my case, Montredo failed miserably at every turn: from incompetent communications and inability to provide exact shipment and return packaging instructions (as a consequence, the watch suffered trauma during the courier); followed by rude refusal to provide a full refund and as an icing on the cake - against my express instructions they sent off my watch to a third party and refuse to return it to me. I would specifically single out Chris Duffy, his rudeness and incompetence (which I have evidence of on file). His poor advice and trying to save face made the situation drag on for longer than should be.
After more than two months, I am still in the process of trying to get back my property and the manufacturer's warranty book from this retailer. My advice is: if you want a reliable seller that will provide quality customer service and support throughout (and not only until the point they deliver the purchase item to you), STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
P.S. In response to the half-hearted "version of events" (still barely little apology for their below par customer service and the mess they created) provided by Montredo, I note that I can easily start posting screenshots of the correspondence between ourselves where it's clear what went on, what statements and claims were made. Even in your response, you're misrepresenting the facts, for instance: "you had stated that your watch was losing time, a few weeks after receiving your order." it was not a few weeks - within 14 days of statutory right of cancellation which was also recognized by the mediator (as well as their recognition of your rudeness); the balance spring had popped - that was the reason for the return and not due to the misuse of winding.
Shall I also loop in the mediator here to clarify what was agreed? That was for you to return my watch to the manufacturer ON MY BEHALF (with my return address) and not your authorized dealer which I have nothing to do with and as I do not wish to continue dealing with you. Instead, you kept claiming that you were "required" according to your policies or whathaveyou, but that is contrary to the warranty rights that Nomos provides - where an individual can directly send the watch to the manufacturer for repairs. That is why alternatively, I've requested for return of the watch to me. Then you have in fact sent off my watch to a third party - your "concessionaire" (which also failed to provide the date of the manufacture of the watch in the first place) without my express instructions and kept refusing to return it to me until I made a report to Berlin police.
Continuous disregard of my previous statements and misrepresentation of the same is astonishing. Additional failures keep coming through:
"I have included my recent correspondence regarding the manufacturer repairing your watch below, highlighted in italics.
The fact of the matter is - your watch is required to be returned to an authorized Nomos dealership, in order for the watch to be assessed and once it has been inspected, it will then be forwarded onto the manufacturer for repair."
How does Montredo reconcile "the manufacturer repairing your watch" against "it will then be forwarded onto the manufacturer for repair." is beyond me. Mind you that is between Friday (9th Feb) and Tuesday (12th Feb) the watch has gone from inspection by AD in a third country (which they previously claimed was done back in December) to being with Nomos in Glashütte. Montredo just keeps confirming how terrible their customer service is...
UPDATE: I finally managed to get the watch and the warranty card back from Montredo and will deal directly with Nomos regarding fixing the mechanism.

Ordered a Breitling watch, price was at least 30% cheaper than UK so excellent value. Watch arrived 3 days earlier then scheduled. Very well packed and in new condition with all paperwork and stamps for warranty. An excellent purchase and experience with Montreal and would not hesitate to utilise them again. This watch was bought through Chrono24 and was paid in Sterling for a Euro price and exchange rate was fine.

Ordered an expensive watch off Montredo for my fiancée for Christmas 2018. They asked for payment which I did straight away. Payment was taken from my credit card and they came back to me a week later telling me that there would be a delay on the watch until after Christmas. I was annoyed but I accepted this. Got another email a week later to tell me that the watch would not be delivered until February 2019!! I CANCELLED MY ORDER. RUINED MY CHRISTMAS SURPRISE.

Like some of the other feedback I too was sceptical about the cost savings associated with my purchase, the Tag Monaco Calibre 11.
I needn't have worried as once I'd placed the order I was well informed at various stages of sourcing/shipping. I was quoted a 3 week delivery timescale with the watch arriving slightly earlier with all the correct warranty documentation and packaging.
My only slight negative was in the days prior to purchasing I couldn't get through to Montredo by phone or Live Chat... this aside I am happy with the overall experience and very happy with the watch. Would recommend to others!!

UPDATE: Even though the customer service was not very helpful and empathetic, the new manager of customer service was. The watch is still out of stock, but at least he empathized and I felt ‘heard’.

I ordered a watch and got an e-mail that it was being processed. A few days after I ordered (and paid for!) my watch, I got an e-mail saying they cancelled my order because the watch was not available :-(
Then it still took a few days before I got my money back, which was quite a high amount (more than 1000 euro).
So: when you order a watch you are not sure to receive it. It is unfair that they process the payment immediately if they know the stock on their website is unreliable (which it should not be in the first place).
