All in all, a very good experience with the system. One downfall though, lead time from ordering to delivery. It seems that the process should be streamiline a bit, or stock enough kind of sensors.

Slow to respond. Took several attempts to straighten billing problems. Not sure if it's resolved yet. Would not stand behind one of it's sensors that prematurely failed.

This is a unique niche market and Monnit serves its customer base well, without monopolizing services and prices. It can duplicate other systems at a fraction of cost, while providing cross-platforms for integration with many different vendors. 2nd to none in all categories!

Technically, a great product. Nothing quite like it on the market for what it can do at the price point its offered. Battery based sensors seemed at first to be questionable but turns out they are extremely reliable and will last years on coin cells with 20 min interval updates. I've only had one fail out of a hundred installs (out of the box) and that is where Monnit loses stars.
If you have a problem with an installation that requires an RMA, all the onus is on you. They will not ship product to you with an understanding that you are returning the defective unit. In fact, they will not even issue an RMA, unless you repeat all the diagnostic steps you have already done on your own, in front of them real-time and to their satisfaction. It does not matter what you know, how many sites you've installed, or the fact that you over-stand what you are doing. Even though the unit is bad from factory, plan on making a second trip to the job site to re-diagnose it just to prove to customer service that you are owed an RMA. When the unit was bad to begin with and it is not your fault.
Also, if you have a suggestion how to make the service better or software features easier to use, save that for yourself. It is a waste of time to try and ask for anything to be improved in the software. However, if you can live with how it works (as I have done) and invent your own workarounds to implement how you need it, the product is rock solid reliable.

The receiver stopped working and there was no attempt to offer repair and replacement at a reasonable price. At the moment I am convinced that this is a inferior product with 'Temperature Stick' doing a much better job.

This system was super easy to install and get up and running. The customer service was first class and the cost of both the equipment and annual monitoring was much less than other systems I looked at. To top it all off the app is a great tool to keep me connected when I'm away from work.

This is a wonderful product. It has worked flawless on Monnit side. Only trouble we had bad with the system is on our side was the Internet. Customer service is excellent, very easy to set up, maintain and operate. We have some temperature monitors on our freezer and walk-ins for the main kitchen for 2 years, the batteries are still showing full. We have 14 temperature monitors 5 water bugs. The monitoring system has notified me four times since we started using them, that temperatures were too high and saved thousands of dollars worth of Frozen and refrigerated items.

Almost at 5 stars . . . the new look sensor interface doesn't show data in our air pressure chart (the temperature and humidity monitor charts are both fine). The classic view does show the pressure chart data.
Otherwise - we check the pressure and temperature histories almost daily; they present a fantastic opportunity to keep tabs on our laboratory environment.

10% of sensors are defective from my order. Very slow customer service and response rate.
Do not purchase from Monnit unless you have a full-time technical support staff and can commit to a very challenging debugging process. Their system is unreliable and buggy.
