You cannot cancel an order even 2 minutes later even though they claim you can on their site. So you have to wait for the order to arrive and then ship them back at your own cost.
Incredible in this day and age!
They even tried to have me fill a reclamation form (by hand) which they first claimed was unnecessary. They try to kill you under their bureaucracy.

Absolutely dishonest and fraudsters! In cahoots with Hermes too! Two weeks and Hermes say my parcel isn’t delivered yet! Do not ever trust these fraudsters! Total crap

Hardback book purchased, advertised as good condition. Arrived in envelop with sheet of bubble wrap. Book had all corners damaged and spine split. Amateur at best. Wouldn’t dream of buying a book from them again. Amazon wouldn’t allow me write the above hence they have a great rating since they are protected by amazon for some reason.

Avoid! sent books through momox elected carrier Hermes on 15/07, momox claim it has not arrived, and Hermes is a night mare to deal with, you just cannot speak to a human being, have spent almost £5 in phone calls which I learnt to my cost are completely automated.Take heed of these reviews and save yourself a lot of grief it is just not worth it.day after I posted review above got an email from "customer services" Kelly at Hermes after 5 days told I need to get in touch with Hermes germany as the destination for parcel is in that country!i don't speak German !and why on earth Hermes uk cannot follow through on this is just a cop out AVOID HERMES!

Don’t use Momox to sell your old CDs and games. When they receive them, they tell you they’re not good enough and then they want to charge you £12 to ship them back! Massive con.

Received a Pink Floyd box set in totally inadequate packaging. Side of box was completely smashed in. Would not use Momox again if they were the last site on earth. Check all the one star reviews. Speaks for itself really doesn't it?

Thieves. I submitted 3 books to Momox for sale. They offered a (small) price for 2 but the third they said was in poor condition. I checked all the books before and it was in good condition. They then have you in a catch 22 as to return the books is more expensive then the overall sale. Your options - lose a good book or forgo the value of earnings from your sale. Their customer service was also terrible. When I asked why the book was in bad condition they couldn't provide any extra detail or images. Having used this service, I would say it is a large scale con.

Only given one star because it’s not an option for zero. HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE!!! Beware of this company!!!
Firstly I was offered a £5 bonus that the site wouldn’t let me add. So customer service said to email them when i got my offer and they’d add it for me.
Took about 5 weeks to get any offer!
I sent 2 perfectly good games, boxed with paperwork, and in total working order. I was offered £7.49 for one and £9.96 for the other when I applied and sent them off. When I received my offer it was only for one of the games. The other was rejected, and I was given a choice of having this returned to me for the sum of £12.49 postage, or letting them keep it! I asked for an explanation of why this was so expensive to be returned and what indeed was the issue with a perfectly good game which could be resold. They wouldn’t tell me any more and I wouldn’t explain.
The reply I eventually got said they had paid us for the game as a gesture of goodwill. This payment never arrived.
I then went into the site As I had been directed to do and accepted the offer of the other game for £7.49. I was told this would be paid within 5 to 10 days, this also never arrived.
I asked them to pay the bonus they had promised and they said they would pay it but this also never arrived.
The emails from myself to them went back and forwards for seven months now.... and only today have I managed to get paid for the items!!!!
No apologies no explanations absolutely nothing and even now after quoting me in pounds sterling they paid me that amount in euros so I have received less than I was due.
Please for your own sake do not use this company it’s an absolute con! And it’s only because I thought and wouldn’t give up that they paid me anything. I will never ever use them again !!!!

Very disappointing service. Customer service is atrocious too. Would never recommend.

100% would NOT recommend.
I ordered a few books from Momox Co UK through Amazon and received the wrong ones. I asked their customer service if I would be entitled to a free refund since they sent me the wrong items, I got a positive answer. All I needed to do was send the items back and send them a message with the exact amount the return shipping cost me.
The process to get my initial refund for the items, and for the items alone, took 6 weeks. During this time I sent several messages to the seller throug Amazon UK about how long it usually takes to receive the refund. The responses I got were automatically generated messages that did not answer any of my questions.
I received my refund for the items but was given no information regarding the refund for the return shipping. Mind you, the return shipping cost me 27,50 euros, so I was, and still am, eager to get this money back. Customer support stopped answering to my messages so I decided to contact Amazon UK instead. They then sent a message on my behalf, telling Momox to return the shipping costs to me.
This they did not do. Instead, I received a message in German, a language I do not speak. Even if the company is based in Germany, I would assume I'd get service in English, as they are selling their items on a UK based website. After putting the text through Google Translate, I was told that the return shipping costs would NOT be refunded to me, despite being promised so on two different occasions prior to sending the items back. I literally lost 27,50 euros on something I didn't even end up getting to keep.
Do NOT buy from this seller.

I read the reviews after I had sent my books, £72 in total so was a bit worried, however there was no need to be as they have sent me a email to say the money has been processed. Im very happy with them.

I tried to sell my old university books, they told me they received the sale but that two books did not meet their quality checks. I had to decide whether to let Momox keep them for free, or they send them back to me which would cost £12.95. I decided to let them keep them only to discover they had cancelled my sale altogether.
So now that's 8 of my own books given away for nothing.

After the refund I received from eBay because the DVD did not arrive within a month of my order.
Surprise Surprise Today is the penultimate day arrived in July. over 6 weeks since my order
Packaging in a bubble wrap did not suffice to prevent the DVD case from being shattered into many parts on its arduously slow journey from your company to my address.
I feel fully entitled to receive the refund as your packaging was extremely bad and the delivery time of over 6 weeks was ridiculously long.
I only wish I could have left you a negative feedback, along with the other 2,485 disappointed customers who posted a negative feedback about your despicable company on eBay over the last 6 months.
One last point, the DVD was also scratched.

Sent my items before I had read the reviews and was very worried, even though my sale wasn’t that high (£25). However everything was fine - everything took more than I expected which made me worry a bit more, but I was aware that the delivery company they use (Hermes) can be extremely untrustworthy. The prices for the books weren’t the greatest, but they did offer the most compared to the other apps I had looked into. One of my books didn’t get accepted and they offered a return for £12, so I just left the book with them as it was way less. I see why people would be disappointed incase all of their items got rejected and thats why I got worried during the process which took about 2-3 weeks.

Really slow service and 2 out of 6 books disqualified because they were damaged or promotional which is not true. Use alternatives, avoid momox.

I bought a hardcover book through ebay from Momox advertised as in 'good condition'. Book arrived two weeks later in a light envelope with no protection whatsover, envelope was vissibly damaged, and upon opening i found the book to be in tatters with the corners bent and spine broken.
Seller promised a full refund through PayPal, but then seller failed to honour the rfund and case was closed. subsequent cases had to be reopened with PayPal as the seller is now ignoring my messages, or responding with requests to 'rate my experience'.
Utter rubbish customer service.

I was intending to sell a batch of books through this company which are all in excellent condition. When I entered the ISBN number for Temple of Wotan by Ron McVan I was offered a sale price of 1p and told that there was "no demand" and yet the same book is selling on Amazon.uk for £120.40 (used, very good condition), £122.56 (used, like new condition) and £274.99 (new) as it is a very rare book. Needless to say I will not be availing myself of their most 'generous' offer!

Terrible experience! Should of read the reviews before. Tried to reject a brand new book, I then searched and found the reviews on this site and realised they have a reputation for this. So I sent an email highlighting these reviews and asking for photographic evidence and that if my email was sufficiently satisfied I would contact trading standards. Received a reply straight away saying they were proceeding to accept the sale, clearly just trying to chance it. Stay away !!!!

These guys are the Absolute WORST... they take my order (a month ago) for a book that is suppose to be in stock and when I asked them to either ship the book or cancel the order, I received an email saying "Have a nice day." They don't care about the customer. I wish I had looked at reviews first... the book was for a present... which I was not able to give because I never received it. Its been 6 weeks and still no book and when I try to tack it, it says it hasn't shipped... AND THEY WON'T CANCEL. I'm going to leave a bad review on every review site I can find.

Wish I had read some reviews first!
Had 6 items rejected as 'heavily damaged' which is inexplicable as all but one were in good condition (the books having been read once each).
Was offered to have the items returned but at a cost of £12 - more than I had originally been offered for all 28 items I sent.
On a positive, the items I sent were ones that music magpie and webuybooks.com would not take, although most were given an offer of £0.13 pence each. Books were sent well over a week ago and still awaiting payment.
For the hassle of it, in future if I could not use music magpie or webuybooks.com, who both gave fast and fair service, I would just take items to a charity shop.

Awful - took 3 weeks for them to acknowledge delivery & a further week to respond - then rejected several items, including two higher value items, resulting in an offer of only 60% of what was originally agreed.
I know that the two higher value items were in perfect condition. So I feel cheated. The return fees at £12 mean it is not worth having the items sent back so that I can sell them myself. I have used several of these companies and this is by far the worst service I have received. Offers were high but the result is low - so customers beware.
So in conclusion a complete rip off and will never use again.
