My son went to Mogens Elmer to ask for a diagnostic test because of a warning light on the dashboard (Ford Focus). They connected the computer to the car and the diagnosis was in some 15 minutes clear. Conclusion: it wouldn't be a problem to drive back to Holland and have the katalysator fixed there. So far, so good.
But now the bill:
- connection for the diagnostic test 444,50 ex VAT
- extra electric connection: ehhhh, what extra connection?? Dkr. 148,30 ex VAT. The manager's comment: The extra connection was not made and a wrong code on the bill, but the total amount wouldn't change...
- materials: ehhh, what materials were used? Manager's comment: none were used, but it's standard on our bills (Dkr. 42,80 ex VAT)
I don't think this is the fair way to treat (foreign) customers by charging non-existent actions or non-used materials.

I went to Kastrup for my second service. I pay every month to Citroën for a service deal which includes virtually everything except new tyres. I have recieved a very professional service on both occasions, & I'm positive that they don't cut corners on my service quality. My only reason for 4 stars is that a recent quotation for new tyres was ridiculously high compared to elsewhere. My tyres were therefore purchased elsewhere. During the period of my 5yr service deal I will happily return to Kastrup, however thereafter I will consider my options elsewhere also as I expect service costs to be too high. Let's see...

Tried a second hand Mazda 3 at them and the car seemed promising. They just received it so it had to be cleaned and some scratches fixed. I have asked Henrik Petersen if they will do a FDM brugt bil test on the car before buying and I never got a reply. I got only an email saying that the car was sold one day before I was supposed to see it cleaned and polished. Called next morning to ask if they still have the car (since it was still for sale on their website and on bilbasen) and a guy picks up. After I mention that I am interested in that Mazda he says that he can't help me because he is with clients. Well, next time when you are with customers give them your attention and don't pick up just to hang up!
