Ordered a backpack 4-5 days ago, no order confirmation or anything. Just took the money. Customer service quick in emailing me back (3 x so far) but nothing happens. Still no order confirmation. Now I want to cancel the order as it obviously hasn't been processed yet. Will I get my money back?

Why design a bag that has such a poor zip? It’s very flimsy and I could tell from day one it wouldn’t last. After 18 months of gradually coming apart it has now completely broken. The inner lining is also weak and tore easily.
It’s a shame because it’s really nicely designed, with loads of pockets and well thought out compartments. It’s just not strong enough to hold all the stuff it’s designed for.

Do not use this company. The customer service is non existent! I have emailed and reached out on Instagram to say I want to return my item. This is my right as a customer. I haven’t even opened the package, instead want to return as I changed my mind.

This company is AWESOME. I understand from the few lower rating reviews the nervousness we might since the company isn’t the most well known but their customer service is amazing. I had ordered my backpack and received an email but never got any update on the backpack being shipped or anything letting me know when I’d be getting the delivery. So I got in touch with them through their customer service email and their Instagram. On IG, they were extremely quick. Through email, they let you know it might take them a day or so to get back. Understandable. I also read their FAQ’s where they have a reference sheet stating depending on where in the world you live, how long their delivery would take. For the US, it said 11 days and, lo and behold, on the 11th day, there was my package. They had already gotten back to me through email as well to make sure everything was ok and it certainly was. Then, when I got the backpack I fell in love immediately. It is SO perfect. Seriously. It has so many pockets, I can charge my phone while I walk with everything else closed in my backpack. It’s durable and weatherproof. Mine did come with a little rip on the inside though and I tried to ignore it but of course, with time, it grew. I checked out their warranty and they said that within 60 days, they’ll give you a refund. I, again, emailed and IG’ed them to let them know. Through IG, they told me to contact their customer service (again, super quick to respond) and through email they did get back to me and are sending me another backpack to replace the flawed one I received. I am so incredibly grateful to them and their customer service. They’re a great company and the backpack is BEAUTIFUL. Thank you, ModernistLook!

I ordered a backpack over a week ago and since then have not received any information. It said it would take 1-2 days to ship but I never received an email stating anything has been shipped. I emailed the company with no response. It appears they were happy to take my money but can't be bothered with any type of customer service. I have since disputed the charge on my credit card in hopes of getting my money back. This company is a scam, do not buy from them.

Modernist Look sincerely treat their customers! I had a faulty zip for a backpack I bought there and went to report it as it was under warranty. The stuff was very friendly and prompt in replying. I am very impressed by the service they've provided. And oh, they really handled warranty cases well if it is reasonable, I am happy to get a new bag after writing to them, no hassle at all.

I purchased one of these backpacks for an overseas trip having trusted the multiple positive reviews and beautiful photographs of the product. When my bag arrived there was some faulty stitching and the quality of the bag was not what i would expect for $120 product. When i contacted the company initially, wishing to return, they offered me 15% refund on the product, essentially expecting me to still pay $100 for a faulty bag. I rejected this offer, still wishing to return the bag, and heard nothing back. This was a few months ago now and i am trying to pursue a refund through my credit card company so that i can purchase something more hard wearing. Definitely would not recommend this product and merchant based on substandard quality and poor customer service.

This is a great backpack. I bought this backpack for a recent trip with my family and was thrilled with how well it worked! Excellent design with large storage capacity and ample pockets/dividers for organization. Comfortable shoulder straps and back cushioning. Looks wise, it's exactly like the picture which I'm glad.

I do not believe the last review is genuine.
My experience with them has been terrible (and is still ongoing).
Received backpack, which was a nice bag but it did not fit my back, even when straps were fully adjusted to the smallest size, when placing my laptop inside it sat too low and was digging in my lower back, so I wanted to return for a refund as I couldn't wear it.
It took 9 days before they responded to me, and instead of giving me their returns address they only gave me a link to their returns policy (which I had already read and it says to contact them for an address).
I tried again, only this time they offered me 30% discount to keep the bag and told me I should gift it to somebody (!).
I tried again, this time they finally gave me the address but increased their discount to 40% and insisted I keep it.
I emailed again confirming I will be returning the product for a full refund and I met all set criteria which was that labels must be in tact, and to return in original packaging, both the inner plastic bag and outer cardboard box.
I took photos of the parcel and sent those to their customer services to prove I sent it back the way they wanted, plus a copy of the returns number.
A few days later I received a refund with more that £10 deducted, and with no explanation why. I emailed them days ago and still no response.
Complete cons, and all they want is your money. Definitely stay away from this terrible company.

I ordered a backpack 10 days ago, haven't received anything although transit for NL is 1 day. Have been in contact with modernist daily and they keep referring me to DHL track&trace which I have been flagging having the same status for 8 days. Finally spoken to DHL who are saying they have NOT received a package!? Again, sent this info back to modernist, but NO response yet - So far I have paid upfront and received nothing. I also cannot find any phone number to contact them.....very BAD experience!

The backpack is NOT the quality you would expect. The zipper split right away - they told me I would receive 10% refund, but I have yet to receive any compensation from Modernist Look. (After 2 months of trying to communicate).
The backpack also tips over incessantly, so it is incredibly annoying when trying to travel.
One of the WORST customer service experiences I have had in a long time.

Do not buy this packback from Modernist Look, the quality is terrible and the customer service is equally as bad.
I bought the backpack a few months ago, only to find out a couple of weeks after that it is not waterproof as advertised and all my belongings and workpapers got wet on my way to work.
After emailing to complain about the quality and false advertisement, Modernist Look did not acknowledge the problem or apologise but said I could return the product and get a refund or they would give me a small % refund. They clearly didn't care about dissatisfied customers or misleading people.
As well as this the inside lining has come away and ripped just proving how low quality this bag is. I again wrote a complaint and have been ignored for weeks by the team.
Don't give them the satisfaction of buying because they don't care about your satisfaction.

i received quickly this great bag. It is a bit heavy but resistant and very well thought with great storage. The key holder system is a wonderful idea. By the way I lost mine, asked client service if I could buy a new one and they just sent a new one for free ! I was amazed. This is service !

My wife purchased me a Modernist Look backpack. It is perfect for my role as teacher as I move from classroom to classroom. I have everything I need in its own special pocket. But then, the main zip failed. This was unexpected but I guess such things can happen with even quality products. Fortunately, that was not the end of the story. I let Modernist Look know and in time I received a replacement bag. Very impressed. Thank you :)

I can highly recommend both the company and the backpacks. I am in love with this backpack, it is so light, convenient and safe. The backpack is of great quality and it served me through very harsh conditions. Customers service is amazing, they resolved some issues that I had with delivery (not because of them, but because of a postal service in the country I reside) in no time and to my great satisfaction. I highly recommend this company.

It has been 9 days since I sent emails to modernist look and I still didn't get any response.
The bag I ordered got damaged after 1 month of usage even if I didn't use it that much.
It is not as resistant as they said. It is clearly a waste of money as it did not last that long.
I have one year of warranty as stated in their FAQ:
The warranty period is 365 days. If you have a problem with the backpack within this period, please provide a photograph with the faulty part. We will then assess the problem and come up with a solution.
But they seem that they don't respect what is written on their website.
They only care about people money.
I don't recommend.

Bestellt im März 20i19 (!) mit DHL Express-Zuschlag. Lieferung wurde nicht zugestellt, da die erste Adresszeile fehlt (sieht man im DHL Tracking). Englischer Kundenservice total unfreundlich - 2. Zustellung ging auch schief. Geld weg (160 Euro!).
Für den Preis kann man sich alles aus China auch zum 1/3 Preis bestellen.
Kundenservice nur per Formular erreichbar und man sendet immer wieder die gleichen Texte.
Absender ist unfähig eine normale Adresse der Form
zu verwenden, die erste Zeile wird DHL nicht übermittelt und damit scheitert die Zustellung.
Ordered in March 2019 (!) still not delivered after 2 times due to wrong address provided to DHL (1st Adressline is missing).
Communication with form was close to be unfriendly. Around 160 Euro lost.
They have no overview of parcels not delivered, no real customer service and for that high price you can better order it directly from china.
Customer Service responds using text-blocks...
I also doubt, that you get any invoice (with EU VAT ID).

Now we have May and NO refund, NO sendings...
Official DHL Tracking ID page shows very clear, that the

Ordered an expensive bag and the zip broke - I am up to 18 emails via FB and contact us and they simply do not respond. Bag was nice but rest assured if there is an issue they have zero customer service and do not help

I recently purchased 3 backpacks for my wife and a friend. I have been in the import business for many years and expected European quality for the price paid. The product that arrived is VERY inexpensive (cheap) Chinees made. My experience tells me that at these prices you are ripping the consumer off.
You should perhaps be more transparent and honest in describing the products you are marketing.
