What a bad quality products and no admission of responsibility!!!
I purchased a dining room chair that collapsed about 3 years after purchasing it while it was hardly being used
They say buying cheap will cost you more.....Modani's products are the perfect example!!!

I loved the dining room table we purchased from Modani. BUT on Thanksgiving I expanded the table, and when I tried to put it back to its original size, it would not go. So I called customer service and they have no way to help. The piece was bought six months ago so they are not responsible. The thing that is beyond irritating is they don't know any repair people to recommend. How is that possible that they don't have any service people to recommend. I asked what about the people who came out to put the piece together. They don't know the shipping people. They want me to call back to speak to a manager. A store that doesn't stand by its furniture is useless.

I bought some dining chairs from here in October, 2018, and the service I got in the store was great. The sales person was very helpful and spent time showing us additional options before we decided on the chairs we wanted. When the delivery was made, the leather on one of the chairs had a fairly large hole in it, so the driver had us refuse delivery for that one chair, but we did accept the 5 chairs in good condition, and he gave me the customer service contact to set up another delivery for replacement of the damaged chair. I called immediately and left a message with my contact information and the order info, and did not hear back. I called 2 more times, and someone did call me back, and left a voice mail. I called back within 5 minutes of the voice mail being left and left a voicemail of my own. This began a round me calling and leaving more voice mails and never getting any return call at all. I even searched the internet for any other numbers I could call. This resulted in me finally speaking to one person, who was apologetic and said he would leave a note on the customer service person's desk and she would call me back right away, but he could not help me as he was not in the department I needed to speak with. Despite his assurances, I have still never heard from her. I called the store where I made the original purchase on 3 separate occasions and they too are very sympathetic but say they can't do anything and only the person who never returns my calls can do anything about it. He did let me know the chair was out of stock, and not expected back in until January and said this is probably why she isn't calling me. That will make it 3 months that I am missing a chair at my dining table. I continue to call daily and no return calls yet.... I have reached out to my credit card and begun the process of having the purchase price refunded and should anyone EVER call me (low hopes) it will be to pick up the 5 chairs I have as I don't want to do business with this firm ever and I absolutely just want them to pick up their items and I will happily give my money to some other company. I think this is pretty sad, and I can say that the chairs were quite nice.

Bought a beautiful sofa at Modani about a year ago. The sofa is now with deformed cushions, broken armrest and causing guests to fall on the floor as the cushions separate from each other.
The sofa is located in a formal living therefore only used only a few times a year in a house with not much traffic and really well kept. It’s a 4 000 sofa and should be expected to last years and years. we were told there was nothing they could do as their return policy states that all sales are final and returns have to be within 3 days.
I find it extremely unfair that a company selling “quality” furniture would not stand behind its products and would put such poor customer service in place to deal with customers. How come a store gives only 3 days ? Assuming it’s going to last only 3 days after that just swallow the piece.
Just run and buy somewhere else IKEA offers a year to return and Prices are lot lower quality I would say the same. At least for the EDison couch

Modani does not stand behind their products and has an unfair return or replacement policy you should read before purchasing from them.
While we love our Annaliese Blue Fabric Sofa - very comfortable, we noticed a small separation in one of the back cushions 16 days after receiving it. The defect was not apparent to the naked eye at delivery, but 16 days later it was large enough to become noticeable. And the seam separation has continued to worsen; we now have a 2 1/2 inch separation on the back cushion.
After contacting Modani and their Customer Service rep numerous times via phone and email, we were told there was nothing they could do as their return policy states that all sales are final and returns have to be within 3 days. Both the canned email response and the inability of the customer service rep (Ellis) to solve the issue is beyond disappointing.
I find it extremely difficult to believe that a company selling “quality” furniture would not stand behind its products and would put such poor customer service in place to deal with issues.
We paid over a thousand dollars for this sofa and it is already coming apart and, so far, the response has been, “too bad!” from Modani.
Considering that so many online furniture retailers have more reasonable return policies, I would suggest to anyone considering Modani to look elsewhere. They clearly do not value their customers or stand behind their expensive products.

TERRIBLE SALES PERSON (GILBERT) AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
I had a very unpleasant situation at Modani in NYC and its customer service!
I purchased a table and decided to pick it up my self. My wife went to the store to check how much it weights and left it in the store so that we could pick it up later... then for our surprise I've got an unprofessional email from Gilbert, trying to "teach us a lesson" and saying that they are not there to help us with the item, which we never asked for... and impolitely saying " have a worker help you is unacceptable. Please next time you are picking any item either choose delivery or have someone with you to pick up your item"....
WE NEVER ASKED FOR HELP... and even after I explained that he kept sending us emails... complaining about Modani not covering them for any accidents, etc... I DON'T CARE about the company's internal issues and I never expected such a rude message from a sales person!
We already complained with customer service and they did nothing about it!
After several emails exchanges (even if I asked this guy to stop emailing us) he came up with some weird story about a confusion he made because another customer PICKED UP OUR TABLE (YEP... THEY GAVE OUR TABLE TO A DIFFERENT COSTUMER BELIEVE IT OR NOT)... and he THOUGHT it was picked up by us, that's why he was sending me all those emails with false accusations...
Be careful with Modani Sales people and the inefficient customer service...ahhh AND STILL WAITING FOR THE TABLE....

Cheap quality, defective products and incompetent installation. We bought thousands of dollars of products from them and their "white glove" service installation was so awful that our bed ripped within a month. The bed frame was installed too tightly so the lift up mattress metal frame kept rubbing against the leather and ripped it. Not only that but the leather on the bed started bubbling within a few days. Their customer service refused any help and wanted to charge us extra money for sending out a technical for an already defective product and their horrible installation mess of a job. Avoid and save your money. Better buy stuff on houzz or wayfair

The Toronto store closed down mid way through my Guardsman warranty replacement. Modani Toronto said they would replace my defective Bergamo black leather sectional but instead they closed the store! I’m now left arguing with Guardsman (in the US) to try and repair my Modani sofa. Incredibly frustrating experience.
NB. The problems with the sofa were defective headrest mechanism, left armrest internal buckling and sown seems coming apart

Late last year I ordered several pieces of furniture from the Modani Furniture store on 3rd Avenue in Manhattan costing over $10,000, and had the load shipped to my house. Because I was not yet prepared to set all of it up, I had the shippers stack the many boxes in a side room. Although I ordered 14 items (three tables, eight chairs, a sectional sofa, a bed and a rug), the shippers arrived with 19 boxes as some of the items came disassembled in multiple boxes. The dining table, for instance came in three boxes for legs, top and glass surface.
After unloading their truck the shippers did a cursory inventory, pointing out some boxes against the wall that were obscured by other larger boxes. I signed off.
When the time came to set up the stuff, I learned that a coffee table I had ordered was not among the lot. Apparently I was duped into thinking one of the dining table boxes was the coffee table.
I appealed to Modani and got the expected form letter: you signed off on the order so go away. Rather disappointing given the amount I dropped with them, and my stated intention of purchasing additional pieces.

Just Love It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No assembly required...sturdy and beautiful. Price was right. The quality is amazing , the transaction was smooth. I placed my order online and received in 2 days. I love Modani's design and the quality. I purchased many furniture from Miami store and I am so happy with the quality. All the patio furnitures I bought still like new after 5 years being under the sun ,rain, storms and even Irma :)
Thanks Modani ,we'll be back soon for more.

Horrible customer experience for 2 reasons:
1) Made an online order, 2 weeks later (after no contact from the company) I called the contact center and I was informed they actually dint have the furniture they sold (not ETA when they would have). If I hadn't called them, I would still be waiting for my furniture
2) Went to the store to buy the same furniture, paid urgent delivery fee ($300!) to receive it from Miami. They said I would receive the furniture in 2 weeks, after 3.5 weeks I received the furniture (the 2 night stands were ok, the coffee table was broken and the picture frame was scratchy). No ETA when they would be able to replace the broken items and I will need to receive the refund.
I had at least 3 other friends that had similar issues with the Modani. If you dont want have any type headache buy your stuff from other companies. There is no reason for accepting this unprofessional and poor customer service.

This place essentially robbed me of $423. In early September I came into the store and purchased a sculpture for $250, and upon placing the order, a young male sales associate brought me over a bill for $423 including a $100 shipping fee. I told him I don’t need it shipped as I live only a few blocks away. He said shipping charge is a must so I asked to cancel the order— he said he would refund the cost and that it would take several days. After a 2 weeks I called back and spoke to the salesman; he said the cancellation did not go through, he apologized and said he would do it right then and that it would take a couple more days to process. A month later it was still not taken care of and I tried calling again but no one had any idea what I was talking about because the order was never processed and the salesman was “out”. In the end, I had to call my bank and have them handle it through the fraud department. The customer service here is beyond terrible. STAY AWAY!

Don't be deceived by those reviews. This is a real one from someone experienced.
I wish I could give them zero. I bought furnitures twice, spending about 8k total. First time was ok.
The guy who sold me the furniture texted me to ask to buy some sample piece - patio dining table. He sent me a picture but i couldn't see a problem from that picture, so I told him to buy. When I got the table, I couldn't believe it cause the quality of table top was different, so rough. I called him but he kept saying that it is the sample quality and final sale. I can't do anything about it.
When I reviewed the table, I found even bigger problem one of the live was cracked front and back and it was about to be broken off. I told the Miami guy but he told me i can't do anything cause I sign a doc. Then, I remembered that he asked me sign a dic and it said that I will accept any quality as it is. They told me to contact their customer service center directly cause they won't do anything.
Crapp. I was trapped. They deceived their customer. They. Must have known it cause they asked me to sign it. (Cause, they didn't ask me to sign that when I bought furnitures at first) now it is very clear that they already knew all the defect and tried to deceive me and sell.
I was an idiot to trust Miami sales guy cause he acted such as he would do anything to satisfy me.
I bought most of furniture that I need from them ($8000), now they gave me this shoot cause I am not productive to them anymore.
It really sucks.
DON'T trust MODANI !!!
They treat their customer like shoot after they take an advantage of them. Go their if you want to experience - being deceived.
Please please go somewhere else. You would find a better price and customer care.shoot

I encourage you to check other places like Houzz and Modern before making your purchase. I purchased a coffee table that was priced 300 dollars more at the Modani store than at Houzz online. Also if you purchase a piece of furniture not in stock, they don't advise ahead of time that it may cost an additional 600 to 900 dollars more in delivery fees. Be careful. Wendy Russell

I am very impressed with Modani. Their items are very upscale and sophisticated, yet at a more affordable price then one would expect. I recently purchased t a black Cameron dining room table with black Niero chairs and a white Monaco leather sectional. All of the items are beautiful. The table is very sharp -looking. The sectional is bright white, stylish, and elegant. I like the fact that the chaise section can be moved to either the left-facing or right-facing side. Although the sectional I purchased was temporarily out of stock at the time in Chicago, I am very grateful and extremely impressed that both Quincy (Design Consultant) and Gleb (Customer Service Manager) went way out of their way to have the sectional shipped from another city. I experience absolutely great customer service. I plan on buying more items, as their items are at a price-point I can afford, but would expect to pay a great deal more somewhere else. I also appreciate all of the time Quincy spent with me offering his design insights, as opposed to selling. He is a very polite person and their Chicago store is great.

I am very pleased with the outstanding service I received in the Modani store at 3221 Peachtree Rd, Atlanta. Heather was very helpful. I purchased 5 different sets of outdoor dining, sofa bar furniture on 01/04/2015. I must say I am impressed with the quality and workmanship of the furniture. I get a lot of compliments from family and friends and have referred a lot of them to this store.

When I was given the task of furnishing a three bedroom apartment, at first it was incredibly daunting but Modani was a great help and made it a painless experience. The selection of furniture fitted the brief and the budget and I am very happy with the way the pieces look in the space. We had the pleasure of working with Nicholas who was very knowledgeable on the products and went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, this included visiting the property to measure the space and give suggestions, telling us about other furniture stores in the area and being quick to respond both by email and phone. They also have a great customer service department. I recommend Modani 100% and they will definitely be my first port of call for any future projects.
