I have a milwaukee drill and impact driver. Both are excellent bits of kit. Except the drill's chuck can come loose but its only a cheaper one. I have the top impact though and that's a great bit of kit - a lot of torque - great for driving in 6 inch timber screws

Horrible customer service. Tried calling multiple times and emailed twice on there site and never received an email back. Ended up going with a different brand as I'm glad now after hearing reviews on warranty issues on power tools.

I contacted milwaukee to make a claim under there warranty to fix my drill as the chuck had broken on it. They instructed me to send the drill to a fixer of their choice. So I wrapped the drill up well and sent it off. (they did provide the postage) after about 4 days I got an email from the fixer telling me the chuck would be £36 + vat.
I responded saying I thought it was under warranty? However apparently although milwaukee claim they have a 3 year warranty the chuck which needed replacing is only warrantied for 3 months. 3 months? Seriously.....
So I tried to get in touch with milwaukee customer services on the phone, however there was no answer.... Twice. I then sent three emails to differing customer service departments from their site and app. Nobody responded to anything except for an email saying they had received my email.
So 5 days later the fixer is willing to send back my drill in bits (that'll be useful) , dispose of it, or I must pay the £36 + vat.
It's like being held to ransom.
So thanks to milwaukees "warranty" I have had no drill for 10 days and am now over £40 out of pocket.
If i didn't already own six different milwaukee power tools and 3 batteries I would not be using this company any more, they are an absolute joke. Stay clear!

Thought Milwaukee was a top leading manufacturer I have had bought the M18CHIWF12-0 impact gun just over 2 years ago (3 year warranty from new) so sent it back for warranty and they came back to me with it being over used as one of the battery terminals had worn so they dont cover that under the warranty as it's ware and tare. So if I was you buy from another manufacturer because I will have to pay £220 to fix my old one. I wont be buying from them again!

Finally got hold of Milwaulkee service support, and told that as the drill hasn't got a readable plate on the side, with all the serial details, which some of the numbers have come off in use, then won't repair it. Three year extended warranty not worth anything and their drills don't last any longer than ones half the price.

Bought drill and driver set, tools of which are fine. However attempting to register for the extended warranty is a nightmare, navigation of the web site is nigh on impossible. Contacted Milwaukee UK through their website and outlined the difficulties I was experiencing on their contact link...no response... repeated process and still no response! Number of work mates have had the same problems.... makes you wonder how you would go on if you had a problem with one of the drills.

I do light fabrication at work and need good drill for drilling through steel. This has proven itself in the few days I've had it.
Also the impact driver is very stout. I have used it for nuts and bolts and also running self tappers. The self tapper mode is okay but i prefer to run the down on 3 and know when to let off the throttle.
