NOW, I have been having my NEW Volkswagen Multivan serviced there 3 times over the last 18 -24 months, EACH time I was PROMISED they would "order the socket and call me next week" for some special globe socket, I have also gone in there 2 times after the last 2 services (because it is conveniently located) to enquire, and again was promised a phone call 'next week when we get the part". ON EACH service they changed, and charged for, a new light bulb, which said took an hour to change ????, and each time the light STILL didn't work, because THEY detected on the first service that it was NOT the bulb but the socket. WOW!!! SO, NOW, finally, I have given up and gone to the VW Dealer who fixed it all in one day. SURE I pay more there, BUT.......how much patience do I need and how many mechanics does it take to change a light bub.... seriously.

WARNING TO ALL CUSTOMERS! BEWARE OF ROUSE HILL MIDAS!If only I could give a NEGATIVE ZERO rating I would so give them that! Took my car here for a logbook service as per warranty condition and came back with a very expensive problem that needs to be urgently repaired! Dropped of my car during the day with no problem. Received a text message in the afternoon saying my car was ready for collection, then when we got there apparently car has some issues that needed to be repaired urgently which costs $1280.00 to get the brake booster replaced (not including labour work). I refused paying that much so I questioned the manager, how was that possible to happen, if I just had my E-Safety done about a month ago and passed the vehicle safety test? The answer was, the brake was already faulty when I dropped off my car in the morning?.!!
Sorry but this just doesn't make any sense to me! Do you think I'm that stupid to drive in a busy road with no working brakes? Why would I risk my own life when I have 2 young children to look after!? I'm not sure what your mechanics have done to my booster brakes for it to suddenly stopped working after servicing my car and I don't understand how and why do such thing? I did not even receive a call in the morning to advise that i have a faulty brake that needed to be repaired ASAP?(JUST VERY UNPROFESSIONAL)! You've told us that the car was ready then when we got there told us that my car was is very dangerous to drive and need a booster replacement for $1280.00? Honestly, Is it really worth loosing your customers just over the money and not thinking about your customer safety first?
Oh forget about lodging a complaint to their head office because they are also useless and unhelpful specially to who they call their "OPERATIONAL MANAGER"! First, He pretended to care and help, but after sending him all my evidence such as my dash-cam the before and after footage of my driving to and from MIDAS and my e-safety report, he wasn't willing to help at all! He knows that they should be liable for the repair that caused my brake booster to fail but DID NOT want fix it with no charge of course! Another thing, He also promised to come over to inspect my car to see what caused the damage as he call himself as a "MASTER TECHNICIAN" but he never end up going and instead he wanted me to get a diagnosis report from an independent Midas which costs another few hundred dollars to get that diagnosis report done! Seriously, If you are not willing to help in the first place don't make someones hopes up! This company just want to take your money!
This is actually my first time putting a review for a mechanic based on what I've experienced & It was VERY STRESSFUL, UPSETTING, FRUSTRATING and A WASTE OF TIME! There was no Apology, no follow ups or whatsoever! I guess they just like to create more problems so that they can take out more money from their customers and just want to take advantage of us because they think we don't know all about mechanical issues. No wonder why when we went there, noticed the lack of cars and customers! These guys are VERY DODGY and or they just don't know what they are doing because of their lack of skills & expertise that's why they won't admit what they did wrong to your car!
PLEASE AVOID and do some research before getting your car serviced here. If anyone is reading this please warn all your family and friends not to use MIDAS ROUSE HILL NSW to save you from such a unprofessional & dishonest service!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! They will brake your car and deny it! This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life and I really regret getting my service done at MIDAS! Expected to do their job in maintaining my car but ended up braking it and they don't want to be liable for it!? Because of that, I had no car for 2 weeks and couldn't do my usual routine accordingly! It was very inconvenient for the whole family especially I use this car to pick up/drop of my children to /from school and go to work!
But luckily, there are still other trustworthy and skilled mechanics out there that would do their job right! Unlike MIDAS!
Next time, please read company's customer feedback first before heading out to a mechanic so you don't end up having a broken car and spending more money for a car service!
VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCED that I would never forget! Karma will get to you one day/someday MIDAS ROUSE HILL OF NSW!! Your workshop doesn't deserve to be operating anymore! Your company SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! I just feel sorry for all the victims of MIDAS! We don't deserve to be treated like this! SHAME ON YOUR BUSINESS MANAGEMENT!!
