I'm on my third replacement for the Soniclear Elite device.
The two previous devices I had had similar problems charging, but I remember clearly that my second device would automatically switch off after approximately 20 seconds of each use, even though it had been charging for HOURS. I gave up using it for a couple of months, but decided I wanted to use it again, but found it was still having the same issues. I contacted customer service about this and they were helpful and suggested I do a factory reset on the device, but it didn't work. It was then agreed that they would send me out another, even though at this time my device was out of warranty. I PAID OVER $80AUD all up to send back both devices, so when I received the third, and found that it had scratches and marks all over the handle, and was the wrong design, I was not happy. Customer service were not helpful this time and basically ignored my photos, telling me that there was no guarantee that I would get the same device back, and blamed me for the second device not working.
Last night I decided to just deal with this, unboxed the device and put it on charge. Initially It was charging, but when I woke up this morning it had stopped. There is no life in it whatsoever and does not even turn on. Checked plugs/cable etc, and yep, dead.
In the process of taking this up with Paypal. Very disappointed and angry.

I ordered a Soniclear and just after a couple of uses, the device would always switch off even when it had been on charge for hours, so I sent it back for a replacement. This cost me over $40 to send back even though it wasn't my fault that it was defective. I received a replacement but it ended up doing the same thing after a few months. Customer service blamed me for not properly maintaining it which was complete nonsense. Supposedly if you don't charge it once every three months it kills the battery which did happen, but that's only because I stopped using it due to it always switching off. I was sick and tired of charging it for hours only to get literally 30 seconds of use. Anyway, they agreed for me to send it back which cost me another $40 dollars and this time they replaced it with a different patterned Soniclear which I dislike, and it has marks and scratches all over the handle. It almost looks secondhand. I'm so disappointed and will never shop here again. There are far better devices out there, and the fact that I've spent over $80AU to send both devices back when it wasn't my fault is so unfair. I will be reporting to Paypal to get my money back.

Fantastic Customer Service!!
I recently received my second order with Michael Todd USA. I ordered 2 make up brushes, on arrival both were faulty.. they didn’t have a red/green light and when I put them on charge they just continuously stayed on. They were not useable at all, due to as soon as you pulled out the charger they stopped working and just wouldn’t charge.
I contacted Customer service and also sent a video to show the fault as I’m in the UK,so not so easy to send back without incurring large postage and customs charge.
A lovely member of the team called Stephanie Radloff contacted me within 24 hours. She advised they couldn’t get the video to work that I had sent them but, she was dealing with it and would get back to me as soon as she had been advised. Again with in 24hrs Stephanie emailed me to say she was very happy to send me 2 replacements if that was ok.They didn’t have the colour I ordered but would I be happy with another colour.
I have to say I was extremely worried I would not get them replaced and I would get much response as I wasn’t in the country etc
Stephanie was wonderful so kind and helpful it was stress free :) and nothing seemed to be a problem at all.
I think your customer service is wonderful and your staff are amazing!! Thank you Stephanie for all your help and thank you for the complimentary gifts, totally unexpected!

Michael Todd Beauty is a disgusting company that supports influencers that sensentionalize useless gun ownership. In 2018, gun violence reached the highest level in 20 years. Using gun promoting influencers targeted to young girls is immoral and disgusting.
DO NOT SHOP WITH THEM.
I also posted on their Facebook page and instead of dealing with the issue, the deleted the post.

I ordered from micheal Todd before, great experience, however, ordered another device from them, never received it, customer service said I had to file a police report and go through all these hoops of fire as if I have the time and will not refund me my money or replace the product, so yes I am out of money with no device.

Customer service agent called back. I explained how I Received a package where the organic aloe vera oil spilled. The agent apologized, they are replacing the oil and sending a small gift for my inconvenience. I appreciate the prompt and courteous service.

I placed quite a big order with them and when I received it found that half of the moisturizers as well as the serums were defective and could not be used at all. I informed them about this (providing photos) and they undertook to send me replacements. Months later and I have received absolutely NOTHING.

Terrible customer service!
Their customer service is basically non-existent if you happen to have an issue with your order.
I ordered a Soniclear Elite system + Cashmere brush head off of the Michael Todd Beauty Canada website and received it in a timely manner (although the cashmere brush head shipped separately).
Unfortunately the Soniclear made my skin break out terribly after using it for a couple weeks.
I contacted their customer service for any tips, as I didn't just want to give up on their product all together (maybe I was using it too often, etc).
I never received a response. Then I emailed again to follow up and received one email back a few days later saying they must not have received my initial email... even though you could see it in the email chain.
I responded back to them again and still have yet to receive a response. I now want to return the item since it isn't working for me and they won't offer any help, but because I've been waiting and waiting for them to respond, I have now surpassed their 30-day window for a return. This is unacceptable and they do not have a phone number you can call either.
They also charge a $40 restocking fee if you even end up being able to return their product.
Terrible customer service and would not recommend.
