Melijoe review for Mariana Primorac
I had a misunderstanding occur with Melijoe customer service advisors. I was absolutely livid. Miss Primorac rectified the situation within 24hrs as well as personally calling me herself. I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism, hospitality, knowledge and class by Ms Primorac. She is a fabulous asset to the company and represents the brand with such elegance. I have worked in the hospitality sector in NY for 19 years. As well as own and operate a worldwide concierge with very demanding clients. Point being, I’m not easily impressed by others in the field and I was highly impressed; to be quite honest still am. I have recommended Melijoe to several clients and friends and will continue to do so. Thank you very much Mariana.
Jakob, was also very accommodating via email exchange And helpful.

This organisation rips people off. I returned a £34 pair of trousers, and they only refunded £15, claiming the difference had to be deducted for shipping costs. No other online retailer charges anything near this amount (if anything at all) for returns. They also charged £7.95 for the outward delivery, to me - how can the cost of returning items be twice as much? Customer Services told me this was a “mistake” but now refuse to refund the £19 difference. DO NOT BUY FROM MELLIJOE. Other retailers stock the same items and do not rip off their customers with egregious extra charges.

I ordered 2 pairs of Aigle gumboots. 1 pair is as per the photos, the other, the boots do not even have the Aigle bird logo on them. I believe it is not authentic and I would like someone to email me and refund me my money. I have send an email through my log in and as per these reviews I am worried I will also not receive a reply. My ticket number is: 961697

I always use Melijoe for my sons items. Service is exceptional, stock levels are right and choice is fantastic. It would be great if they stocked Stone Island too though. Don’t think they can be blamed for couriers who don’t arrive and parcels left on the doorstep as per some reviews. Couriers get delayed or fail to arrive despite instruction and these things happen! I don’t use any other company now.

I ordered a coat off this website a few weeks ago and i dont understand why there is so many bad reviews because when i recieved it it was packaged well all the tags are on it and i chekced the authenticity and it was authentic so it cant be a bad or fake website it came in 2-3 working days and nothing wrong with the order x

Melijoe is a great online shop for kids clothes that are really beautiful. I have used this website several times for gifts and for my kids. Recently I bought a whole pile of clothes and some shoes. I was so happy with all of it and didn't return anything. My son wore the shoes a few times and the stitching has come undone. I called them and the lady was friendly and asked me to email a photo to cumstomer service @melijoe.com which I have done a few days ago. I am still waiting for a response as to what to do next? On the website there is no email stated, is this email correct and if so when can I expect a reply? It's disappointing when you pay 90 euros for a pair of shoes and this happens... Hopefully they will reply soon and fix this.

3rd time ordering from Melijoe. DHL lost the parcel 2 weeks ago and advised me that they have informed Melijoe, for them to claim. I have written 3 times over the last 2 weeks to ask for status updates, but have had no response from France. Their HK customer service keeps saying they have had no response from their French headquarters.
The true measure of any company is when something goes wrong, what steps they take to make things right. Accountability and letting the customer have peace of mind is essential in global online shopping. In this regard, Melijoe has failed. I am very disappointed and expected better.
UPDATE. I got an email today to say that there will be a full refund to my card. Thank you. I have updated the rating by 2 stars, as the matter should have been handled better, and communication and updates need to be a lot better when things go wrong.

The order that I placed on Melijoe’s online catalogue two weeks ago was shipped from Nantes France and arrived on my daughter’s doorstep in Vancouver Canada in 4 days! I was super impressed at the speedy shipping time. I ordered several outfits and they were all well packaged and in brand new condition! They were gorgeous! I will definitely order from them again as the clothes are beautiful and the delivery time amazing!

I wish I had seen this before I ordered!
I was sceptical about ordering from here from the start but they were the only place I could get my daughters much desired ‘gold dress’ for her birthday.
Ordering was simple and the package arrived in time however what I received was more than a shock to the system - a stinking of cigarette smoke smelling already warn crumpled dress with bits of the gold laminate peeling off in all areas with a stain on it - just to confirm this was clearly someone else’s return. This dress was for my daughters birthday which was subsequently ruined because she didn’t get her dress. I immediately contacted customer service with my complaint to be told they would rectify the problem. A further fifteen emails later they repeat asking for photos which I have sent three times then say they have passed onto the relevant department. Then when you chase them they say to return the item at my own expense (to Paris) and place a new order. I’m sorry but you sent me a stinking, stained used dress which would be classed as faulty and you expect me to pay return fees - I will be reporting you to the highest level and to the Brand that you are selling on their behalf to make sure they are aware you send their brand out to new customers in that state. Disgusting to think you are sending used items especially in this Covid situation. Will be reporting to trading standards and anyone else I can think of.

Used to be a loyal customer but the service is now atrocious. Purchased a coat worth over £400 and the zip became faulty within weeks. They arranged a courier who did not arrive. I sent many emails and messages via Facebook to no response, when you call they hardly answer the phone when you do get through there are people who claim to be managers (Alexandre and Elodee) who promise follow up emails and calls who never follow through.
Told so many different things; send back, then send pictures, then longer then 28 days. Coats should be more durable then six weeks, especially for the price I paid!
£40 on phone calls and no resolution.
I am truly disappointed with Melijoe, I expect better for such a boutique.
*pictures are not the issue I have no problem sending them. The initial contact did not ask for images. She arranged the collection which did not arrive. It was after 3 weeks of zero communication I spoke with a man who said I need to repeat the process and send images hence me stating I’m told different things!
Why did you cancel my new order and not have the decency to communicate this with me? After everything I stupidly continued to spend my money with you. I have done nothing wrong. I’m offended by this treatment.
I’m forced to write this review because of your conduct, so no one else goes through what I have... Funny how you respond to this within an hour!

This is my first purchase from melijoe. Before the purchase I was quite hesitated because I saw most of reviewers here didn’t have pleasant experiences. However I still made the purchase and the experience was great! Beautiful packaging, right products, quick delivery and everything just perfect. My daughter loves her new clothes very much! I am happy to make more purchase from molijoe in the future.
P.s. I live in Sydney and I received my parcel within 4 working days.

I have used Melijoe in the past several times with no problems. However I have never had cause before to contact customer services. A few weeks ago I placed a small order in the sale for 2 tops for my son's birthday. The postage charge was £8 for delivery via DHL but I was confident of the sizes in the brands so knew I would not have to return the items. I received notification on Friday 14th Feb that the parcel would be being delivered that day but with no option to change this. Unfortunately we were away for the weekend but I thought they would take the parcel away if no one there to accept it but if not I have a covered area by front door and an open cart lodge where it could also be left under cover. It was the weekend of Storm Dennis so we had huge amount of rain and I returned home on the Sunday to see the parcel sitting outside the front door completely uncovered where it had been left for 3 days in torrential rain. The cardboard was literally falling apart and the items inside (which were not in any additional wrapping) were damp and one top had a wet mark down it. I contacted Melijoe's customer service by e mail on the Sunday(16th Feb) explaining situation and asking them to allow me to return the items with no cost and refund the £8 delivery charge. I offered photographic evidence of the damage and water mark on top. I received no reply. I then decided to return the items as per the system on their website but inside the parcel again wrote an explanation of the situation and asked for the £8 original delivery charge to be refunded and for the £9 returns charge not to be deducted. I yesterday received an automated e mail confirming refund of the items minus the £9 returns charge and no refund for the delivery charge. I have contacted them again twice by e mail and no reply. I have checked DHL's website and it states that the request for a refund has to come from the sender - ie Melijoe. I appreciate that it is DHL who should have to pay but I cannot see why I should have to pay for an £8 delivery charge for an item that was not actually delivered to me but left outside a front door for 3 days (what if it had been stolen ?) or a £9 returns charge when if the items had not been left in rain for 3 days and damaged I would not have been returning. I am still waiting on a reply and an additional £17 refund.

They don’t even deserve 1 star, they’re horrible I brought this item twice because they lied the 1st time saying my bank was holding my funds because it’s my 1st time shopping with them, then I purchased again after 1st order wAs cancelled because they were “unable to validate my order” now they’re doing it again with a different card all the same information I hate this website I wouldn’t recommend anyone to shop here

Absolutely delighted with the service and quality of the good I received.
Ordered on Friday and delivered to N Ireland on following Wednesday and was packed really nicely.

One day later my purchase was canceled without any Information or notice what is the reason for cancelation.
The Clothes I have ordered are placed back into Sales on Webpage.
I send several mails ...NO ANSWER.
As this is the second time my order was canceled without reason and Info...please close my customer account asap.

I am customer since 2014 and the delivery adress is still the same and has been absolutely correct.
Further you can contact seller if something in not clear instead of cancel purchase without a word.

I have been trying to reach Melijoe for over a month. I have sent 4 emails and tried the contact number from Bahrain but to no avail.
The prices were fine but the dresses but they didn’t fit my daughter properly. So I wanted to exchange them. But nobody is responding to my emails and nobody is answering the phone. And I am stuck with dresses that don’t fit my daughter.
