Do not buy MBT trainers - the heels disintegrate in no time and customer service don't care. They only responded to my emails once I threatened them with the Ombudsman and even then they just offered a $30 store credit! $300 wasted. If I could put photos up, I would - they show the heels completely hollow from where the rubber all disintegrated. TERRIBLE QUALITY.

I agree with a lot of the other consumers about MBT being very bad for customer service. I did get a pair of sandals in January 2019 & managed to get some contact form the company although I was a little concerned. The shoes arrived & have been fine. I have recently looked at getting more shoes but have had no response to my emails as I do not like to order any shoes if the company cannot respond to my normal queries.

All these reviews accord with my experience that this compan is 'some type of front' or 'ghost business' .
I have kept at it and at it to get someone to TALK to me for the purpose of satisfying my enquiry about their products, but it appears they are simply an automated computer system driven organisation with NO genuine staff.
How sad, because theorhetically the footwear appears to be a good concept. Interesting also that it seems to be based/ come from Singapore which I would have thought would have made it more reputable. Alas.
Would be interested if anyone has found a trustworthy alternative product range of this specialist style of footwear.
I am recovering from an 'ankle fusion' and thought the footwear design sprouted by MBT would have been ideal.

My MBT rocker shoes have only last one (1) month before the soles on both shoes/runners has started to crumble. It has started to tear in the centre, bottom sole, heel area. The materials inside the sole are now also coming out so there is a hole along each side of each shoe/runner. Obvious that these are faulty. You are now able to see the foam (or materials) used inside the sole itself.
These shoes although faulty, are still usable and still trying to get the benefits (if any). Unfortunately, reading other reviews, looks as though I wasn't the only one.

Website claims to offer discount for first time shopper - no email is ever received so no 20% discount.
I found a pair of shoes in my size that were $20 more than all the other sizes in the same shoes. I asked why this was the case because I wanted to pay $20 less and they replied by just putting all the other shoes to be $20 more.

I ordered my MBT Shoes on 14/2/19 and I am still waiting for them. I have emailed them numerous times for a refund and find their customer service appalling.
PLEASE....do not buy anything from this site. I do not understand how a company like this can operate in this day and age. This is the worst experience I have had with online shopping.
I am starting to wonder if this is a legitimate company!!!

MBT Australia is a domain front for Trendz 360 Pte Ltd Singapore
Although the website offers stock in AUD most credit cards will charge an extra 3% for a foreign currency transaction
Trendz acknowledged my order but has not sent the stock and its contact process is merely answered by a robot
I have found that the Australian company has gone broke and is in liquidation
Company: MBT DISTRIBUTION AUSTRALIA PTY LTD
ACN: 167 210 120
Status: In Liquidation
Appointment Date: 13 December 2018

I am specifically reviewing the Sirima model, my third pair of MBTs, albeit the first pair since the sellout to a Chinese company. I am EXTREMELY disappointed that they lasted for only two years (almost to the date) before the rocker soles blew out! What I mean by blowing out is the foam crumbles to bits and the entire rear of the sole collapses so they no longer work as rockers (and yes, I did follow MBT’s precious recommendation to store the shoes on their sides whenever the soles got wet). I should also add that due to a multitude foot issues, I have no less than five pairs of regular shoes that I must rotate day after day in order to avoid serious foot pain, so the amount of time these Sirimas were worn during that two year timespan is far less than average. Of my first two 'original' Swiss MBTs, the Keshos (a mary jane style similar to the Sirima) lasted almost five full years before blowing out, and the Jambos from 2014 are still going strong with no sole issues. Perhaps MBT should reduce the price of the Chinese made shoes to about half since their longevity is less than half of the originals. I, for one, would certainly expect shoes with such an exorbitant price tag to last much longer!

I have the same experience as Lesley. Does this company even exist? I ordered and paid for a pair of MBTs two days ago and my payment was refunded by PayPal. I have not received any explanation from MBT and it is impossible to contact them. I have wasted too much time chasing this up. Clean up your act MBT.

I wonder if this is a fake site? I have bought shoes from them before. This time I tried to buy some shoes that were said to be available on line, but then they got back to me and said I'd be refunded as they were not available, but I have been charged $2.47 for both the payment and for the refund. So - nearly $5 to find out shoes aren't available - this could mount up and fly under people's radar and net them a fair amount. The company that I get messages from is called Star 360 support. The contact form on the web site says that my message was unsuccessful, and there are no other contact details- email, phone or address.

Refunded with no reason.
I got refunded without any email sent to me. My order was Men's Zee 17 on the 26 Sept 2018.

While MBT shoes are physiologically sound, MBT’s appalling customer service lets them down. My 86-year-old mother has been a loyal customer for the past 11 years (though how any 86-year-old lady can consistently wear out nine pairs of shoes till they literally fall to pieces is incredible!!!), she accepted the poor quality in favour of the physiological benefits. Unfortunately, she bought a faulty pair resulting in a faulty lining wearing a hole in her toe. We returned the shoes with the receipt within MBT’s return policy guidelines. MBT did not get back to her and the shop closed, MBT did not respond to website enquiries or emails regarding the faulty shoes. After about a year we received a response and MBT offered a $50 website voucher, all we got for the voucher was an error message. We followed up with MBT again and they provided a $150.00 website voucher, which also resulted in an error message. MBT then offered a refund for the shoes which would take “five weeks” to process. We waited nearly three months and followed up again only to be advised that the “finance team is in the midst of processing”. My mother is out of pocket and her barely-worn shoes have not been returned, replaced or refunded. My mother has been incredibly understanding and accepting of MBT’s dreadful customer service but it is clear that she has been ripped-off and MBT have treated her dishonestly and unfairly.

I've bought my first pair in 2008 in Europe and they were terrific. The pairs I've bought over the last 3 years in Australia are of a substandard quality, lack the desired rolling movement due to thinner and softer sole and they wear out quickly. Very few fit a wide foot and the staff does not know which models are wide fitting. No information about this important aspect of shoes is available.
They seem to sell the same old models and that may be why they do not last...they are past they due by date and so the sole just disintegrates. Will buy my next pair O/S.

Soles of the black running shoes were worn in less than a month of wear due undoubtedly to a fault in the rubber. No one from MBT has returned my multiple calls or email in two months. Hopeless.

Satisfied with the service and the shoes, genuine high quality MBTs.
The shipment delivery took several weeks and a slight delay in email contact however they did apologise for not responding earlier.
Overall given the costs as opposed to paying full retail I am very happy that I bought. I would have given five stars if I hadn't experienced the delay

Poor choice of sizes, very hard to contact. Dont answer emails or phone.
I went to the sport store where I got my MBT previously now they don`t stock them only order in but even they can not make contact.
I like the product but the service it terrible so have gone else where to get my shoes.

I have arthritis in my feet and really good shoes can make all the difference but they're few and far between. I'd heard about MBT but feared they were too expensive for me. Thankfully there many on sale on the website so I was able to buy what are probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever walked in. Delivery was within a week or so of ordering. Highly recommended.

Because of foot problems I can only wear MBT shoes. Unfortunately there are very few MBT shoes in size 47 available (there used to be much more), but the online shop and notifications let me know when they are available. Delivery is very efficient.

I shop primarily online as there doesn't seem to be enough dress shoe choices in the Canberra region.
While I buy maybe two pair of shoes a year I tend to go for the sale items.
If I do see a none sales type I really like, and like with sales, there never seem to be enough size 41's.
Buying online I'm hesitant to get a size 40 especially if it's a closed toe. I have a open toe pair of patent red slipper type in size 40 which were a little tight at first but have now stretched sufficiently for comfort.
More size 41 please, even if you have to advise availability in another physical store like JB Hi-Fi does with their on-line store.
This might mean you need to create arrangements with said store to sell their items on their behalf.

Responding to emails seems to be very 'hit and miss' with MBT, which is frustrating when you have questions before you purchase. My most recent purchase was posted to the wrong address, and I quickly notified them (from the Aus Post notification) that they had used a completely different address and state to mine. I would purchase more of their shoes, but the stock seems to sell out in a flash. Also they send group emails with shoes and their prices but often the shoe is either a higher price or not available. Very frustrating. I hope they improve because I'm ready to buy and don't want to resort to purchasing through Amazon.
