Guys, stop wasting your time, money and efforts here! This site, despite having many members, is dead. No activity, other than bots whose task is to lure you into paying.

I have made several attemps, vai phone and email, My account will not allow me to make any changes to my profile. Each attempt, is ask for my passsword, trying every password that I have ever used, I click on, "forgot password", I am prompted to enter my email address for further instructions, I type in my email address, check my emails and there is no mail what so ever, delivered. This has been going on for two weeks. I have made contact, personal, with one of the matches and have ask them if they even see my messages I type on their profile, which they dont. Ive reported this to match, they couldnt fix the issue but my cancellation will not be until the end of my service contract...All I want is my money back. Match.com has the worst customer service out of any company that I have ever dealt with....Stay away from match....

as an alternative. It's international dating, but trust me, it's worth trying! No outdated profiles, ladies are real and active, sexy and feminine. They may come from slightly different culture, but it's only for the best: they are more loayl and they still have family values. The site has more control over these ladies, they have to provide their ID's and make identification video. So you can be sure that they are real, and their intentions look real too.

I've tried match once before and was successful (sort of). It ultimately didn't work out but nonetheless I figured I'd try again.
Well, disappointed is a tragic understatement.
No one is attractive (men) at all. Not sure where they find these people. I guess I'm one of them. Or WAS, bc I will never try this again. I'd rather do bumble bc at least I see attractive men whether or not they're real is debatable. Don't waste your money. Say hi to someone at the supermarket. You'll be more successful then this crap.

Match.com just embarrassed and upset me by listing me as a woman looking for women. I am a woman looking for a man. I went round and round in circles for ages trying to rectify this, no answer to their phone numbers, the virtual assistant understood nothing I said. It's hard to delete your account if you haven't subscribed. Finally managed to delete my account no thanks to them and end the embarrassment. I hadn't even finished signing up. One of the worst experiences I've had online.

I joined this site a few days ago. I was very unpleasantly surprised after browsing it. You need to pay for EVERYTHING, but all profiles seemed fake to me. A lot of good-looking George Clooney type of men all around. It seemed more like an escort agency than a dating site.
I logged out and decided to take a closer look in a day or two. Today I tried to log in again, but - guess what? My profile is suspended. No reason stated - just some phone number I should call.
I heard a lot of bad things about this site prior to joining it and now I know they are all true.
I think that it's pretty dangerous nowadays to join sites that steal your e-mail address, your photos and private information (including your IP address) and then immediately suspend your account for no reason. Be cautious!!!! Don't get scammed by this fake dating site!

I have had a really bad experience with Match.com customer service. A few times they've deleted my profile for no reason, after numerous emails exchange it was restored. But it had been deleted a few more times. Furthermore, a few times it was deleted and no explanations provided. The last time when i've created a match profile I've tried to upload a few photos, fully dressed, very decent. However the moderation team kept rejecting it. When i sent a complaint to the customer service they said that I must give them a call to resolve the problem, which i couldn't do. Because my working hours are the same as theirs. When i insisted on to continue the written communication they've simply cut off my access to my profile. Full stop. It looks like they've deleted my profile for good, without giving me the opportunity to restore the password or create a new one.
P.S. Also, while i were able to use match, for some reasons match system automatically adds men to your favorites who don't match your specified criteria even remotely. The same applies to daily shuffle.

In order to compete, men must send out many messages just to get the attention of a few women. It's too time consuming. Women just sit and wait as bait. Many don't even want to date and just love the easy attention.

I've been browsing through the dating websites only to realize all they want is your money. What happened to pay for one month time frame? You pay all your months at once and end up paying $200-$500 for a contract that's hit or miss for canceling. I've not had a good experience through online dating. Oh, well back to reality.

Rubbish - don't do it! You can't cancel it! They don't answer the phone- no
Matter what option you choose - there is no one to speak to - ever! They say the only way to stop it auto renewing from an iPhone is to do it from settings - subscriptions- it's not there in my list. I paid £60 the first time for 6months, I used it for all of 2 weeks - it's was rubbish and even though I thought I'd cancelled it it then it auto renewed and charged me £119.34!!!!! I went to PayPal who came back saying that my refund had been declined! Steer well clear of this money machine!

I know there are some of us who don't necessarily follow online media. Let's face it, some of it is about as accurate as weekly world news. However, should you Google "match group scandal" you may find yourself unpleasantly surprised.
Let me break it down for you: match.com is owned by the match group, as is plenty of fish, Tinder, and hinge. Recently, they got caught in the act of utilizing Shady business practices. What they were doing.. And Tinder is STILL doing was sending people emails and blurred photos of fake matches. I've always felt these Services utilized a pretty poor business model. And seeing how they were trying to trick people into paying for a membership by utilizing this tactic it just makes me feel dirty. I mean, a lot of us have success with online dating and a lot of us has horror stories. It honestly feels like all of this is split right up the middle. So when you knowingly dupe a potential customer into paying for your service by utilizing a bot you throw that "we take catfish seriously mentality" right out the window.
All this does is reinforce the fact that many of us should just get ourselves out there in the real world and join some sort of social function like a board gaming group, local cleanup effort, or other community event, and not rely so much on a computer to play matchmaker.

I signed up for 1 year subscription. Wanted to cancel about 6 months into as very disappointed in site. I was told (by computer) that there would be no cancellation until renewal in another 6 months. Quit looking at site as very few results from my emails to women. Site kept asking if I wanted to "make sure she reads your messages".
Just wanted more money from me.
At my cancellation date I received notice from my PayPal account another year subscription had been paid. I entered a dispute with Match thru PayPal and it was denied, even with my copy of their notice it would be cancelled on that date. Yes, I should have cancelled my credit card with PayPal. I have now, Match will not respond to my email
protest. Match has no integrity!

Their "business model" is based on 2 main aspects: using fakes and bots to allure you into paying them, and then using you to allure more paid members..Don't join this swamp of fakes! There are more specialized and decent sites, like
where you can hardly meet a fake or a scammer, because they utilize totally different business system (with no monkey business and with more control over their female members), they get rid of scammers instantly. It saved me lots of time and money and helped me to find my partner safely.

Joining Match.com was one of the biggest mistakes I have EVER made! I am 26 and there is hardly anyone who is younger than 4o0 on Match. Im starting to think all dating sites are only meant for the 40+ community. To even join is EXTREMELY expensive for a site that also does seem to care about anything other than money. I got scammed by this site! Don't make the same mistake I did!

I'll never use match.com again and I will tell all of my single friends the same. Most of my "likes" were scammers

They are scammers ...BEWARE ..
They create fake profiles to make it seem as if you had more likes ( shown below ) you can tell because you can't access them..and there place towards the bottom ( because they don't expect anyone to delete their likes like I did ). Second , they don't tell you that even if your a paid subscriber , those who doesn't have a paid subscription still can't see your message, even if you pay for free email another paid options they offer. So, your stuck with a paid prescription..with fake profiles and non paid members ...they just use you to allure more paid members...FAKE... they're Scammers

An absolutely horrible online dating site...but is there even a good one??? Online dating has become a host for men seeking to lie about who they are and hook a woman into communicating to them for nefarious reasons. It is awful! Have been on for 4 months and I have YET to speak to someone who is not a phony. I have used Been Verified website to check out each one who has tried to get my phone number and not ONE was real??!!! AWFUL! When I reached out to Match.com to tell them each time I have had a phony profile they do not tell me if they even investigate. Sometimes the photo disappears, other times the profile just goes away. They never admit that these men are not legitimate. At least other online dating sites will tell you if they identify a fraud and take him off the site. It think it happens so often at Match.com they do not want to admit they are a haven for fraud. If I could have given them a zero I would. Worse yet they do not respond to their subscribers concerns with an update or any kind of disposition of a case brought to their attention.

I've sent out over 100 messages in two months and in that time I had one. Just one woman message me back only to say she wasn't interested. The app is a complete waste of money and time and unless you are a female I feel like it will really ruin your self confidence level. I mean I don't try to message women that are out of my league I'm 5'9 with what I assume are average looks and an average body and normal hobbies and interests I have a car and my own place and I'm a supervisor at a retail store and I even graduated college so when I don't get a single message back from anyone it is really confusing. I've tried short messages, longer messages, and no response.

Wow, what can I say except I feel like a fool. If you read all the reviews that I just read, you will see why it is really stupid to get involved with this site. It lead me on, it tried to learn as much as it could about me, and when I accused it of being a robot, it got mad at me even after it had been calling me "dear". It claimed that "she " was an artifact dealer here from Dubia UAE, what a joke, except that it was on me. Now the site leaves me alone. Don't go there, unsubscribe immediately!

These Gold Diggers (wanting To Wine and dine them....Beware..I Like FINE Dining) Are Either Cougars Or Women Who Need to Feel important By Having Men Write To Them to Make Themselves FEEL GOOD. I've been dating online for a long time now. Basically, you get what you put in! Match ain't a bad dating site and works just fine if you invest time in a decent profile. It has more members than any other dating site, at lest as far as I know. So you should be fine using it. Possible you are not lucky on it, in that case check out Yamvoo or Tinder. Also worth trying IMO.
