I got a check in the mail from WALMART INC. along with a letter giving me directions to log on to a website and type in a username and password that was provided. The check was in the amount of $1,995.33. The letter basically said that I had been accepted to participate as a Consumer Service Evaluator. I was to deposit the check and keep $350.00 for myself as pay, then take out the remaining money to go shop for this company. I went to the bank and they said the check looked legit but to research the name of the bank that it came from which was the Wachovia Bank, N.A. in Charlotte, NC. As soon as I googled the bank the scam alerts started pouring in. DO NOT deposit this check in your bank as they will overdraw your bank account.

Recieved what appeared to be a check from WALMART on Wachovia Bank, N.A. for 1995.33. I was told to deposit the check and after 24 hours withdraw all but 350.00. the 350.00 was my pay for participating. I was assigned to then transfer 831.00 to a Walmert viWestern Union to a Kayden Sullivan. Then told to shop at a local Walmart and keep the merchandise for myself. I would then fill out an online survey as to the quality of service I recieved at this store. I still have the check. I dont believe anything legitimate is going to send you a check and then ask for any of it back.
