I come everytime I visit fro California. The first time I came and only the first time did i win anything. After that the machines just took my money no matter the denomination i played. I was there in July and it was not a good experience. Besides losing a lot, people sit at slots and not playing them and they lie saying they saving the machine for someone. Go back an hour later they still sitting at the machine and not playing. At least at the indian casinos in Californiz pay every once in a while. I'll give it one more try at the Majestic, but I'll go somewhere else if the machines just take and take. It looks as if the machines have been fixed to take your money. I set on a machine for over 2 hours and only got 8 free spins. Horrible!!

Need to update the overall appearance from the parking garage to the casino. Right now it's dark,dirty and depressing. Casinos are bright, shine and sparkle.. The buffet is great,, good food wonderful service, what else can you ask for.

same constant food served everyday. needs more variety. fresh soup, not in a bag soup. i once saw worker refill soup in a sealed plastic bag. A lot of food served thats reheated frozen food, not fresh. Sometimes food sits there cold because nobody touches it.

Ok well as you know i have been coming to the casino for years. I got a letter in the mail for the new club program which said i was now a gold card member. I was hungry when i got there so instead of going to get my new card i went right to the buffet because i had a coupon stating i get a free buffet and all i had to do was show my id. Ok so when i went down there i got in the line for gold card members figuring that they would be able to realize i was a gold member when i got to the desk. Well when i got there i was basically made out to look like a liar and a fool by the two women working the desk because they claimed i had to have my card and there was no way to look it up and i was in the wrong line and this and that and treated me like a liar almost like i was a criminal. So i was mad of course because of the way they treated me, but i went and got my card and came back and the same lady took my coupon and never even swiped my card that she just insisted that i had to have. The whole situation was handled very poorly for someone that spends as much money as i do at this place. On a more positive note the food at the buffet that night was excellent, both the prime rib and the crab legs were much better than the ameristar. Overall the computers at the buffet should be updated to be able to look up by my name or player number the fact that someone is a gold card member and not make them out to be a liar and embarrass them in front of the whole crowd standing there.

I think it's a little ridiculous that the reward system was changed with little to no information given prior to the change! And the machines seem to be taking more and MORE.. and paying MUCH LESS lately. the promo, cash back rewards and comps... are a bit pathetic, compared to the level of my play.

they are making improvements to get the casino cleaner and more up to date.free slot play is like a slap in the face after how much you gamble there..overall with the way the machines pay off your better off staying home....

I've been going there for years but ever since bankruptcy the place has been getting worse. I go in the A.M. and they have 1 person on the top floor for service. At times the bar is closed or is short staffed. They no longer offer cash back only shot play for your points. Parking is lousy as Valet has been moved to the front and makes people parking have to duck under caution tape to get to the doors. Anyway I just got back from Vegas and they are even cutting back on promotions there.

Loosen the Slots your not paying that much anyway your machines dont have that big of a payoff for a jack pot. announce when someone wins a jackpot we as players like to here it. change the buffet its been the same food for ever it seems try hamburgers or something like that bottom line listen to your PLAYERS were not happy we wont come there. it seems like you cleaned the place up but when you cant win it just doesnt help

The main issue I have had with my last few visits are the elevators being out for months (Not Weeks). Scraping the back of my legs walking down the stairs. Machine buttons often not working. The environment has poor ventilation so your breathing in dangerous second-hand smoke.
Other than these issues I make the best of each visit and usually enjoy the evening.

I was there on Sept 5. And turned in 50.00 I found. Security was a smartass. When I asked what happens to the money if not claimed he said. "Casino keeps it". I then told him that was not fair, he said "it's not your money" and walked away. Guys name was Richard. I was really tsken back by his rudeness that I called Pat, she said she was his boss and was much nicer in explaining. I do not go as often now and don't plan on it because of this day. I now to to Ameristar. Cleaner, friendlier

The bathrooms are either closed or dirty many, many times we come there - and we come a lot! 90% of the time, the staff acts like you are bothering them when you ask for something. The escelator in the casino has been broken for well over a month. They ought to be ashamed-it looks terrible and of course is a major burden walking up an un-moving escelator!. The highway exit that we need to get on when leaving the casino has been closed (with a ridiculous detour) for over a month! And the worst part of all of this is that you just can't win! It's almost like you're being tortured to come and lose your money! I really don't think we'll be coming back too often, if at all. It's really not worth it, there are plenty of other casinos in Chicagoland and Indiana that we can go to....
When my friend and I go to the casino, we go to relax and have a fun night out together. We're pretty fortunate that we can do this just about once every week. We each bring between $120 and $200 with us. We play the poker machines together, sit at one machine. We only hit something over what we've already spent every 30-40 times we come to the casino-very, very poor average. If we do hit something and decide to keep playing, we usually lose everything we've won. It is so hard to walk out of that casino with money! Your machine usually will not hit anything close to what you've started with so you can almost never get ahead. And like I said, even if you do hit something fairly signifigant, the machine or other machines wind up taking it (very, very quickly). A few months ago we were very lucky and we hit for $4000 on a dime poker machine. We hit almost as soon as we got there so we decided we didn't want to go home so we kept playing poker. Big mistake, we were out of the casino within about 2 hours, just playing dimes. It took almost the whole $4000, we each walked out of there with about $300. We had each brought over $100 with us so we really didn't even net $200 each. How sick is that???? We could not win one single thing after that! Winning the $4000 was a real fluke and got us all excited for nothing, LOL. We'd rather start going to a casino that pays even a little better. The ONLY thing good that I can say about MS is that they do give good promo cash and food to us......that's why we're usually suckered into coming back to MJ instead of other casinos....
