Of the three boats I can go to I pick Majestic Star Casino because they appreciate my business the most. The promos mean so much to me and help being able to stay longer. With the packets they send I can plan my month for the days best for me to come. I always get something even when I don't win and that means a lot. Food, gifts or extra points. I appreciate the promo money the most and I will always pick Majestic Star Casino first !!!

The staff is very friendly. I win sometimes, though not as often as I'd like. My only problem is the inconsistency of the promo offers.

I love coming there but I get frustrated with the promo cash not working.

I like going to Majestic because of the smiles you receive when boarding and the smiles you receive when leaving, you can't be in a bad mood. Seema like you always see someone you know as this casino was one of the first around. Says a lot that people keep going back. I have never had to wait for anything, change, slot attendents, hosts, change at booth or a jackpot payout. Good service, always pleasant. I think the music played here is one of the reasons why, it's always upbeat. I would like to win more like everyone does but you do leave with a goodbye and a smile.

The main issue I have had with my last few visits are the elevators being out for months (Not Weeks). Scraping the back of my legs walking down the stairs. Machine buttons often not working. The environment has poor ventilation so your breathing in dangerous second-hand smoke.
Other than these issues I make the best of each visit and usually enjoy the evening.

Majestic Star is the only boat/casino that i frequent. Even though there are many others available and close to me i have been a dedicated player since they opened. If you have never eaten in their steakhouse i highly recommend it. The food is awesome. I feel Passports buffet can bring their quality in food up a knotch. They seem to have the same menu, and i eat there quite often. I am a Access member and use the access lounge as often as i can. I would rate the food as average. I miss when they use to serve prime rib. The workers at Majestic Star are quite friendly and most are helpful. I look forward to my next visit. One other thing im glad they changed the style of music.

I've tried all of the local casinos and this by far is my favorite. There's a wide selection of machines and tables. I've not stayed in the hotel but I've dined at the restaurants and there's a big selection of choices.

Great staff and bartenders , I think it could be cleaner though. Very smoky.

I was there on Sept 5. And turned in 50.00 I found. Security was a smartass. When I asked what happens to the money if not claimed he said. "Casino keeps it". I then told him that was not fair, he said "it's not your money" and walked away. Guys name was Richard. I was really tsken back by his rudeness that I called Pat, she said she was his boss and was much nicer in explaining. I do not go as often now and don't plan on it because of this day. I now to to Ameristar. Cleaner, friendlier

Compared to other casino's I've been to the win ratio is much higher at other casino's than yours. Sure you win small amounts but any wins over $1100 are and few .

I don't understand about the drwing every time u guys call some one don't even play that much money I know a girl she play very little money she got 3 tv common this is not fare I have more than 2000 entry she just came and got call not even 5 minte she play and I have a jockpot more than a year I c ppl win over and over I really don't care any more I just want to quote from majestic it is not my place any more my money not good for thst place I have to leave it I like the employes I been playing loyal for 20 years now time to leave it alone every one is telling me majestic is not fair with me if my luck is that bad or I been treated like stale chiled

What the MS did with cash-back in August and September was great. Giving 6 times points to players that played low paying VP games was a big incentive to play the low return games. Many of the low paying games are more fun but I have learned that my money lasts longer on the high paying VP games until the last two months.

Perhaps you should watch the developments at the “Plaza Hotel” in Vegas. They have removed all of their highest paying VP games. They are now advertising every VP game is over 99%. The only game they have that is over 100% is Double Bonus 100.17%. The attraction is that all VP games are over 99% and they have 10x VP points on Tuesday. Slot club points are .133%. That means that on Tuesday it is 1.33% and every VP game is now over 100%.

The Plaza was on the verge of closing. I look forward to seeing how this works out for them.

I would like to have my comp account explained to me. Five years ago when I was only playing about $1,000,000 coin in per year I asked my host if I could get a comp for Four at the steak house 4x $75. I was told that I had plenty of money in my comp account. I asked at the slot club last week and was told that there was over $100 in my account. I have been to the steak house once in the last five years. I have over $1,000,000 coin in so far this year. Where did all my comp dollars go?

I do realize that hosts are an expensive resource to maintain, but I believe I play enough to be rewarded a steak dinner once in a while. Yet I never receive any recognition about my play. And if I want to eat at the noodle bar before playing, why is my past play not sufficient to earn me the "points" or whatever to get a comp for that place? It signals a lack of trust or confidence in the player when you require him to play BEFORE he "earns" the comp. Still overall I like Majestic and would come more often if it weren't for my Ameristar host who keeps giving me steak dinners.

I love the trilli of going into the bous round when I play the slot's it just you go broke befoe it let you in. That really sucks.

The bathrooms are either closed or dirty many, many times we come there - and we come a lot! 90% of the time, the staff acts like you are bothering them when you ask for something. The escelator in the casino has been broken for well over a month. They ought to be ashamed-it looks terrible and of course is a major burden walking up an un-moving escelator!. The highway exit that we need to get on when leaving the casino has been closed (with a ridiculous detour) for over a month! And the worst part of all of this is that you just can't win! It's almost like you're being tortured to come and lose your money! I really don't think we'll be coming back too often, if at all. It's really not worth it, there are plenty of other casinos in Chicagoland and Indiana that we can go to....
When my friend and I go to the casino, we go to relax and have a fun night out together. We're pretty fortunate that we can do this just about once every week. We each bring between $120 and $200 with us. We play the poker machines together, sit at one machine. We only hit something over what we've already spent every 30-40 times we come to the casino-very, very poor average. If we do hit something and decide to keep playing, we usually lose everything we've won. It is so hard to walk out of that casino with money! Your machine usually will not hit anything close to what you've started with so you can almost never get ahead. And like I said, even if you do hit something fairly signifigant, the machine or other machines wind up taking it (very, very quickly). A few months ago we were very lucky and we hit for $4000 on a dime poker machine. We hit almost as soon as we got there so we decided we didn't want to go home so we kept playing poker. Big mistake, we were out of the casino within about 2 hours, just playing dimes. It took almost the whole $4000, we each walked out of there with about $300. We had each brought over $100 with us so we really didn't even net $200 each. How sick is that???? We could not win one single thing after that! Winning the $4000 was a real fluke and got us all excited for nothing, LOL. We'd rather start going to a casino that pays even a little better. The ONLY thing good that I can say about MS is that they do give good promo cash and food to us......that's why we're usually suckered into coming back to MJ instead of other casinos....

I like the slots at majestic, but jackpots are minimal compared to other casinos because their max bet amounts are usually around 2.00. They have more giveaways then most casinos which is nice. The comps are not good you can only get one pack of cigarettes in a certain period of time even if you have the points.

majestic is a nice casino. some times i win other times no. they have to update a lot of stuff. the elavator needs to be a lot faster. it takes forever even if noone is on it. the escalator s are always under construction and they are still not fixed. the employees are very friendly. the bathroom as peple come in with 2 stalls is in terrible condition

What a great menu! From the delicious appetizers including the crab cakes and shrimp cocktail to the chopped salad and onion soup. The steaks are top notch Kobe beef and the lobster and crab legs are always fresh. The chocolate lava cake for dessert is to die for. With outstanding service and the best restaurant manger in the midwest, you can't beat it!
