Having tried to return a gift that was the wrong size and not received any email response , fb messages or online response - I reviewed them here and got a response to say a replacement pair of slippers was in the mail - not true ! Nothing has come - complete lies . No customer service . Worst customer service (or lack of ) I have ever experienced.

My wife bought them for me in July 2018 as a Christmas present so did not start to wear them until December 25th 2018, as I had a pair of Clarks I was wearing out till then.
However where the detachable sole has rubbed against the heel a large split developed. Spoke to Customer Service twice and sent a photo: they basically said 'tough, you've had them more than a year'. So a pair of slippers 14 months old and only worn for maybe 7 months (as it's been too hot this summer most of the time and I've been barefoot) are worn through to the inner fabric.......
My wife, daughter and her partner all have bought some on the strength of my purchase too: guess who won't be renewing theirs when they wear out either?
These are not cheap and for them to last for less than 7 months is ridiculous, they are just not fit for purpose.
I wonder if since the buy-out of the original company, they are reluctant to replace items bought before it crashed?

I have been waiting for my replacement pair for 1 month after my original ones split open after just 4 months. The worst company I have ever had to deal with, terrible customer service who never ever reponded to your emails and blocked me on thjier facbook account so I can't contcat them!!

Have been trying to return a pair of slippers that didn’t fit (a gift) - have messaged them SO many times and not received a response ( used their on line form, messaged via fb and used their returns form (twice) - No reply - this has been going on for nearly 2 weeks. I am a size uk14 and took a chance on the UK 13, as read reviews to go a size smaller for a snugger fit.
12 months on and i am so happy. worth spending the extra few squid!

I bought a pair of classic slippers plus outer soles for indoor use about 11 months ago.
I have just consigned them to the waste bin ...where they belong.
I gave up using the outer sole because they kept detaching and were rubbing off the surface material of the slipper. One of the snappers on the heel to hold the outer sole in place broke off.
The materials used are very cheap and I fear most of the cost of the Mahabis products were spent on the advertising hype.
I’ve gone back to my old high street branded slippers ... A fraction of the cost and better made.

Customer service do not even reply to the email at all. Been waiting for two days and not shipping confirmation has been send or reply. Choose the 2-3 days shipping and 2 days no reply. What kind of service is this? Better choose other which has a better service and fast we reply. Last time buying from this company. When will my order be shipped ?

I bought mine brand new from a friend who had never worn her slippers and had left the 30 exchange run over, due to serious ill health of her husband, sadly he passed. So changing a pair of shoes was the last thing on her mind.
I have worn them for 2 weeks, not all the time, just light wear around the house, and the black heel fabric is peeling from the rubber heel cover. Am I going to bother my friend... No. Am I going to contact Mahabis... No.... After reading all these reviews they don't seem to care about anyone and customer service is erratic... I thought consumers had rights.. But I really don't want to be told I've worn them out in just 2 weeks... And mine are the outdoor ones..
What a shame...

I bought one pair for me and one for my partner. I checked the size several times to be sure to get the right one. But still they fit small. Too late to return them (my fault).

Great product and excellent customer service. Ordered my “slippers” online and selected the wrong size, returns process was simple and efficient and was equally good on my second return! (I ordered the wrong size again!!!). One small quibble is that the replacement only arrived after I followed up the return but a small quibble. Now have my really comfy footwear!

Bought a pair of outdoor slippers in May 2019. I mailed the company on 21/07/2019 explaining that one of the slippers had developed a fault, and that I would send an photo of the fault in a fortnight because the slippers were at my holiday home. The response I received the following day was that I would not need to send a photo and they would post me a new pair the same day. I was expecting a bit of a fight but received the very opposite. This to me is excellent customer service.

Love the slippers, love that I can change sole colour. Hate that mine and my mums have started tearing after under 1 year, due to the changeable sole. We have both contacted mahabis, shown pictures and order details and have been told the company has been taken over abd the new company take no responsibility! Our items are definitely faulty and they will not do anything. Don’t know about you but when I spend that much money on slippers, I expect, hope for a lot more for the company. Please don’t waste your money, mine are 8 months old and ripping.

The slippers are definitely comfortable, although not the-most-comfortable-in-the-world comfortable. And they do like nice. But my issue is that despite the cost being high, the inner material has started coming of after about 6 months of infrequent usage. I can feel it when I wear the slippers. Expected better.

It is written on their website that returns are free and it wasn't. I am in Canada and had to pay almost half of the price I paid the slippers to ship them back (they were too small). ''I'm just not sure what's happened here, and don't have a way to recompense you for the return. I'm very sorry about that.''

I love the slippers, however I don't love the customer service. I gave a gift voucher to my sister in law for christmas and between my purchase of the voucher in November and her attempting to redeem it in May, the company changed ownership. They now refuse to accept the gift voucher. Terrible customer service.

Warranty is no longer valid after company was taken over by new company. Awful
There was a factory mistake that has caused my left slipper sole to unclip all the time. Spoke to customer service team and they said they can't do anything for orders before 2019. What a joke! Get your act together Mahabis, part of buying a company is it's existing customers that come with it.

Mahabis customer service is non existent.
After purchasing a pair of 'classic slippers' the plastic outer sole kept falling off. I decided to get in touch to speak with someone.
There's NO telephone number displayed on their website and after digging around I eventually found an email address.
Basically If you've purchased your slippers, worn them for a day and notice that the soles fall off they'll not refund you.

Deplorable. They authorized a return. I sent the slippers back to exchange for a larger size and have received absolutely nothing in return. They have my money AND the slippers. Pathetic really.

The shoes are great but the clothes are super poor quality. I bought shoes , loungers , T-Shirt and jacket. The loungers already fell apart after one week. They got exchanged very fast without problems but the second ones were not better.

Submitted an order, received confirmation of the order, but I never got a shipping confirmation email. Submitted a help request after a week of no responses. It's been two weeks since I submitted the order and after multiple requests I still haven't heard anything back from them. Was excited about getting these, but it looks like they got my money and I get nothing.
Edit: Apparently they read reviews more than their support requests. They finally responded 20 mins after I posted this review, and are willing to help now.

I purchased 5 pairs of Mahabis slippers at Christmas time last year and when I tried to return three of the pairs the company had gone into “holding”. Even-though I was within the 30 day window for return and refund I could not get a refund or even exchange for a different size. Now the company is being run under the “holding company” and they too refuse to honor my purchase and refund my money. Be aware if you make this purchase of slippers that are, in my opinion, to highly priced for their quality, you may not be able to return them regardless of what they advertise as their return policy.
