Ordered a pair for my elderly mother (I live across the country). Did not fit her when received and she wants to exchange. She called and since she does not have access to email ( again, she’s in her 90’s), they could not provide any assistance. I have since reached out over their cumbersome online system and gotten no response. Ridiculous. Won’t waste any more money here. Was going to order additional pairs as gifts. Not any more.

I ordered 2 pairs of slippers on 25th November, costing £94.80 they arrived but I didn't like mine and my husbands were too small. Went online for returns labels and requested a refund for one pair and exchange for 2nd pair, used Royal Mail to return, I tracked the progress Mahabis received them on 9th December I have not had a refund and have not recieved a replacement. No communication from the company despite emailing and frustrated in not having a phone number

There have been a lot of negative reviews so thought I would give my view. I ordered on the black Friday offer and yes, they took over a week to arrive and I received an email advising me there was a delay. Not a major problem. When they arrived, I was pleased with the quality and they feel and look very well made, as well as being extremely comfortable. They do feel a little more like a shoe than a slipper though i.e. not as soft and light. My only real gripe is that the collapsible heel pulls my socks down and is really annoying. This takes them from 4 to three stars. Overall though, happy with my purchase. I wouldn't pay full price however.

My slippers arrive and one was a great deal, wider and larger than the other. I contacted them and got an email from Tony saying he had attached a pre paid label to return my slippers and would receive a refund on return. Problem was he had not attached the return label.
Three emails later and still have not received return label.

My wife and I have emailed several times now as we needed to exchange a pair of the limited edition. The return was over a week ago for which we have followed up with numerous emails but are not getting any human response! Only an odd automated email each time. This is not customer service! These are a Christmas present, but doesn't look likely that we'll receive the exchange, moreover will we ever see our money again?

We just got our shoes today the 20th December and we ordered the 13th December, it was fast delivery, even there was a small mix up with the carrier, first was told DHL, but tracking didn't work, we wrote customer service and was told shipped with Landmark, and got a new tracking number, and next day shoes arrived.
They fit in sizes and both me and my wife are excited about the shoes and their Colors ...
that is why 5 stars from us... Merry Christmas

I purchased a pair of slippers at the beginning of November and sent them back in all good faith that I would receive a refund, I sent them on the 10/11 November using their forms and tracked through the post office. its now the 29th November and I have still not received my refund. If they were a cheep pair of slippers I would have understood but they are not and I am extremely annoyed that you cant contact via the phone. Please return my money immediately.

Dreadful service. I just wish I had looked at their reviews on here before i ordered a pair of slippers for my Husbands xmas present, as I definitely would not have bothered.No confirmation e mail or tracking number so no idea if and when they will arrive. I have contacted them twice by e mail but still no response and of course no phone number given so they can avoid talking to you. They managed of course to take the payment. Also concerning is that they have now stopped responding to the complaints on trustpilot. i just hope that this a legitimate company that cant cope at busy periods but if thats the case they shouldnt continue to accept orders.

Ordered a pair of the Nordic navy with orange soles. Received a pair of white ones. Contacted customer service that made me take a bunch of photos and promised to ship the correct ones. Three weeks later replacement arrived - and they are white again! This is ridiculous, customer service stopped responding too. I have a case open with PayPal and now reading all these reviews, wow. Should have read before buying from them..

Beware of this company! I believe they are selling counterfeit goods. I ordered two identical pairs in different colour ways for Christmas presents. When they arrived, not only are they sized differently but they are also labelled differently inside. One says it’s made of wool designed in London and made in China. The other pair says it’s made of textile, designed in London and made in Portugal. One has branded cardboard inserts inside the slippers and one doesn’t. Customer service is non existent! They just ignore you. No phone number or online chat so now I am in a black hole forgotten about! Thank goodness I paid through Paypal on my credit card. Now I have the hassle of trying to resolve the issue that way. Shame on your Mahabis! For the worlds most expensive slipper, you need to up your customer service game to match the high price tag! AVOID!

Take your money immediately then ignore you. when they finally reply its an apology and no actual information.
They charge you for 2-3 days delivery and then say sometime next week so 10-14 days. Because being unprepared for the busiest day of the year is the customers fault. Even though the order was placed before Black Friday.
terrible service but super quick to take money.
Order arrived Saturday morning and they refunded the delivery fee.
I would like to add Teegan in customer services handled the situation very well and dealt with my rant very professionally. She was very impressive and should be commended. I have added 2 stars just for her.

The product is good. I have a couple pairs for myself. The ordering and arrival is good. Easy to order. Arrives 2-3 days later. Nice product, nicely presented. That’s the good part.
But returns !!! Oh my God. The worst experience I have ever had.
Ordered a pair for my mother. Too small. No returns label. You have to request that. After much messing around was sent a return label. Was a big aggravation.
But was as nothing as to the next problem. Ordered another pair. This time mother just did not like. Heart sank as I knew what I was in for.
Well this time it is off the scale. I kid you not, over the last few days I have probably sent around 30 - 40 emails. These are either ignored or I am randomly told the refund is being dealt with. But that is re the last return. I have not even been sent a return slip for this one.
This abysmal level of customer service is totally unacceptable. I now have to report this to PAYPAL as to what to do as I have a product I cannot return.
So, situation is, if you want a pair AND you are happy with them. No problem.
But, if you need to deal with a return - then mentally prepare yourself for the customer service from Hell.
This sort of thing should not be allowed.
You have been warned.

I ordered my first pair of Mahabis slippers around a year ago and, when they arrived they seemed very good quality. When I tried them on they seemed a little ‘snug’ but some items of footwear do when new so I assumed they would give when I started to wear them.
In the end, I didn’t start to wear them until after summer 2019 but, after only a couple of months of use a hole has appeared in the top of one of the slippers where my big toe is and another hole has almost come through on the second slipper as well. I believe this is a result of the slippers being smaller than their advertised size.
For clarity, I always take a UK size 12 shoe/slipper and have never had any problems. According to the sizing chart for a UK size 12 I should order an EU47 which I did.
I was thinking of purchasing a pair of the leather slippers up until this problem but am now very reluctant to waste more money on what have been the most expensive but shortest lasting slippers I have ever purchased.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES....If there was a way of leaving 0 stars that would be more fitting for the horrendous experience I have had with this company.
I put in an order 27.11.19 and then a second order 29.11.19 with a view to returning the first order because I realised I ordered a size that would not for my partner.
What I actually received was an order that belonged to another customer including a data breech as it included her full name with associated address. Some days later I then received my initial order which was the one I needed to return.
I emailed the company straight away to tell them they had sent me the wrong order and wanted to make a return on the other pair. It took them days and days to get back in contact.
On 08.12.19 I receive a reply from Teegan, which at first appeared please promising. She sent me over some return labels and stated that their main priority was to get me my missing order as quickly as possible.
It turned out that the pair of slippers I ordered were no longer available in that colour - so she asked me to choose another one.
I replied immediately with a query/request to replace the slippers - this was 6 days ago. No reply at all from Teegan. Radio silence. To say that their main priority was to get my replacement to me quickly - leaving it a week with no response says otherwise.
I have tried emailing then many times and nothing. I am currently out of pocket for two pairs of slippers as I have heard nothing at all about getting a refund for my retuned pair and nothing about when they will be sending me a replacement for the incorrect order.
These are my partners Christmas present. As I am out of pocket for two pairs of slippers that I don’t have - I can’t afforded to get him anything else.
Absolutely disgraceful service. On research it appears they were only bought out of administration early this year, it’s not difficult to see why they nearly ceased trading.
Next step for me is citizens advice to find out where is stand with regards to recovering my lost funds.
Please please please don’t buy from them.

Received 25th November.
Returned 9th of December (nan didn't like them)... Tracking shows received 11th of December.
No refund on 18th of december so tried to contact via online form. (no phone number).
21st December... No refund, no contact.... Nothing.
Luckily paid by credit card so getting the bank involved as I have evidence of return and no refund.
They seem to be replying through here 🤔 so let's see.
Will never use again.

Seven emails, three FB messages and still cannot get a response re my exchange or refund. Absolutely appalling service. If you get your order right first time, then you maybe lucky. Anything else, then you're in for a frustrating time. From a company that others a high end product, you certainly do not get the service to match, so disappointing. Very poor form.

As a previous loyal customer of Mahabis, be careful ordering your items online from Mahabis. My order wasn't processed when purchasing two pairs of slippers for my parents. I only realized when I started wondering where my order was. With this, I missed out on the offer, Mahabis refused to honor the offer as a goodwill gesture.

Having tried to return a gift that was the wrong size and not received any email response , fb messages or online response - I reviewed them here and got a response to say a replacement pair of slippers was in the mail - not true ! Nothing has come - complete lies . No customer service . Worst customer service (or lack of ) I have ever experienced.
