I had purchased a one year subscription for Magzter gold, which is not being attributed to my account, in spite of the money deducted from my bank account. No where in the account does it say that I have subscribed to Magzter gold, and is prompting me to purchase again. Sent a mail to their help id for no avail and zilch response.
This is truly a site whose intention to serve it's customer is very questionable. And which subscription business does not give a customer support number. How busy exactly are you guys ?

Just try cancelling "Auto Renew" on Windows 10. Go through the motions getting to managing subscriptions. All you get are 3 wavey dots continually and the website hangs up. Surely if account management was made easy, you would get more custom. I'm afraid that compared to Zinio, your account/subscription seems deliberately designed to prevent you doing what you want to, rather like a doctors receptionist! Avoid Magzter. The whole reading and account management experience is dreadful and unprofessional. x

I have been trying to cancel with no avail.I contacted the company and I receive the same instructions as the web, which of course I had already followed. This is the worst. You cannot cancel and they keep charging you. It is a rip-off and I am not happy. Do not buy into this service, you will never get out. They owe me at least $60 for the last 9m month!!!!

No option to cancel auto-renewal!
Q. What does that mean?
A. Take customers for a ride and loot them year after year.
@Magzter: Don't bother to respond with fake assurances and lies. When everyone is complaining that your cancellation option is disabled and still you mislead your customers to try that option, either all your customers are lying or Magzter is the biggest lier.
What kind of technical glitch it is, only restricted to cancellation of subscription which does not work, unlike all options to loot customers such as Gold subscription and Family sharing are working so fine!

Falsely advertised. 5000 titles of smut and Vogue India. No cancel option on the app, and the notion of paying to pay is ludicrous. Many titles are not available in my region, funny because I live in Canada and I thought the region was the internet. This is click bait pure and simple. They entice you to buy the year up front then sell you garbage you can't use. I'm sure the positive Google reviews on the Play Store are bought and paid for. Total scam!!! Avoid!!!

I bought BASS PLAYER mag for my brother who never rec'd it. Tried calling Magzter cust svc # but it's all robot menu. Do not buy anything from them. They will auto-renew regardless of your preference, and do not issue refunds.

I tried out the 7day free trial. I canceled it 4 days before it would auto-renew for a 1-year subscription.
Today I checked my bank account and I'm being charged. This is dishonest. I have proof of having it canceled, but customer services failed to response.
I am truly dissatisfied with Magster's customer support. I've sent an email asking for a refund, but till now still no response (even after 4 days).

My auto-renewal subscription from Aug 2020 was cancelled by Magzter in an email from them in Sep 2019. Today I checked my bank account and I'm being charged again. This is dishonest.

Look how bad all the reviews are. They are literally committing fraud by making it impossible to cancel the subscription online. There is NO button and no link to do so. Shockingly bad.
I took out a free trial and did not feel that the range of magazines coverd what I was looking for and therefor went to cancel,except you cant cancel as the site is broken. There are 4 tabs and yet the only 1 that does not work is the cancel tab to which,states you can cancel at any time.
I tried canceling but was charged for an annual pass and from the looks of things,this is happening to others and therefor it is my belief that magzter are intentionally committing fraud.
I have documented the issue and will be raising a lawsuite against magzter on the grounds of fraud,as Im a legal practioner.
I would strongly reccomend fixing the issue and refunding all of those who have complained about it within 30 days.

I've been charged the annual fees without any prior notice. There is no way to cancel the auto-renewal via the app or the website. Have reached out to the customer care as well for cancelling the subscription and refund of the amount, but there has been no response.

It's impossible to cancel the Gold subscription. I've unsubscribed the auto-renewal on 2020-06-18. But it has deducted the amount again for this month. It's fraudulent transaction - and misleading the customers.

I have sent a mail to magzter for cancelling my auto renewal twice and their timeline says my query would be resolved in 48 hours and it has nearly been 72 hours there has been no response. It clearly seems they are adamant on auto renewing and charging me the money. Certainly not hassle free by an strech of imagination.

I subscribed to magzter two days ago for an app called Mubeat. it’s a voting app which rewards you with coins when you do certain actions and one of them was subscribing to magzter. it was mentioned that i can cancel my subscription once i’ve received my coins on Mubeat. However i have been emailing magzter and trying to get a refund but they have yet to get back to me. Magzter app mentioned that they will reply within 24-48hours and it has been more than that. this is really bad and disappointing.

I had subscribed to the Magzter Gold which was okay. I recently tried unsubscribing but to no avail. My profile shows auto-renewal is cancelled, but lo and behold, today (06/29), i have been charged $9.99. I raised a ticket and i want my refund for misleading me. Case #:00445894

As others have mentioned, it is impossible to cancel your gold subscription via the website. This is despite the button to cancel claiming "no hassle" and appearing to be clickable (though it does nothing). Very immoral business practice.

I took out a Gold subscription 3 months ago, which supposedly gave me unlimited access to Magzter’s range of magazines. The first thing that struck me when searching for titles was how many popular UK magazines were not included in the Gold subscription but instead required a separate subscription to be paid. Disappointing but I still managed to find a number of magazines I am interested in - about 30 in total. 3 months on and 9 of those magazines have now been discontinued on Magzter with very little in the way of new UK magazines being added. I don’t know the reason for this but it doesn’t bode well for the future. Great concept but doesn’t live up to the promise unfortunately.
