Ordered and paid for 6 wall lights. after no delivery on the due date I tried calling them, but the line was dead!! They did not respond to my E-mails after 3 weeks with no contact from Lyon Lighting I was forced to get my Credit card bank to sort it out and they repaid me.
There was no customer care, no feedback whatsoever and I was left high and dry!!!
This company is absolutely useless and not even worth a rating. I hope nobody else gets caught as I was!!!

Extremely pleased with this glass shade, it is almost a match for the other four shades in the light, slightly larger but hardly noticeable, also well packed. Very reliable comapny, I would certainly recommend Lyon Lighting and use them in the future.

I could understand if my item want in stock and I was told there would be a wait time but I received nothing at all. They seem quite happy to take your order and keep your money. Customer service is non existent

My order arrived smashed to powder and I cannot get in touch with the company. They do not answer the 'phone, it goes straight to answering machine. The emails I sent were returned 'unable to deliver'. I contacted my credit card company to complain and get a refund.

Wished to purchase a in line table lamp switch.Found Lyon Lighting on the web,contacted them by telephone and ordered and paid for the part.I was told the part would be delivered in 4 to 5 days.The order was placed towards the end of Sept.In spite of chasing my order by email and telephone calls to the company,the part has never been delivered.The last time I telephoned Lyon Lighting I gathered the phones had been disconnected as they did not ring out properly.If they are trading again I would be very sceptical of their modus operandi.No apology has ever been received from them.

Unfortunately to make this review actually work I had to give one star but it should actually be zero stars.
Paid online for new strip light bulbs. Never received them... never heard from the company... tried to call them and email them but zero response. Absolute shower! Don't waste your money.

Ordered a light, paid via PayPal and payment was taken instantly. Received no confirmation of the order from Lyon. The light never arrived. Phoned and emailed numerous times but was always fobbed off. Nobody I spoke to could help at all. Then I checked online reviews... wow! Wish I had checked before ordering. Have since made a successful claim via PayPal. If you're checking these reviews before buying you've saved yourself a lot of hassle. Otherwise, good luck to you.

Lights have not arrived after 8 weeks, trying to get refund from credit card. Lyon do not reply to emails phone calls are diverted to a call centre and not returned. Do not buy from this company.

I ordered a ceiling lamp with a microwave sensor for my porch from this company. I am disabled and needed a light that switched on when I entered the porch at my new home. I received confirmation of my order but never received the goods. Despite several emails to the customer care department I still did not get a reply or the goods. Fortunately I paid via Pay Pal and was able to set up a 'dispute' and eventually got my money back. I don't know what position I would have been in if I had paid this company direct. I learnt a lesson - always check reviews of companies you buy from.

I ordered an item I believed to be in stock, after about a week or so I did get an e-mail apologising for the lateness with delivery but the date just seemed to be a forever moving goalpost. After a further week and a half I had to cancel the order with these, after waiting 20 minutes to be connected to someone, and I ordered through another company which delivered the item within 2 working days.
A very poor experience with this company and unfortunately due to this I will be unable to use them again.

I purchased a light from Lyon Lighting which had not arrived after 2 weeks. I contacted their customer service team who stated it was a back order issue and would be with us within the week. A month later, still no light. I requested a refund via email and was ignored. I checked their facebook page and with company house and it looked suspicious - a director both resigned in August 16 and was posing as a customer raving about good service on their facebook page. Both directors (one remaining active) are early 20's with no obvious previous experience. Something really didnt feel right so I contacted my bank. They refunded the money immediately at least, which goes to show using your credit card for an online spend is a great option!
I hope this helps people understand why it would be a terrible idea to deal with this company until you know where they stand!

Lights arrived promptly & cheaper than I found them elsewhere on the internet. There was a bit of an issue when they upgraded my deleted very option which meant that they would arrive sooner, when we were away. I asked that they delay delivery until we were home & got a series of messages asking if my query had been dealt with, saying that it would be, but never actually answering me! As it was, the lights arrived while we were away & when they were still sending emails saying they'd sort it. So, good for cheap lights, bad if you want any sensible communication.
