Not only did I find the best deal for the cost of my trip from South Bend to Eugene, but also worked out well going both ways with very little time wasted between 2 flights each way. I was so looking forward to the travel, but due to an emergency medical issue, I had to cancel one day before the trip was to begin. I called Lookupfare, and they forwarded my information to United Airlines, who refunded me every penny of the trip, even though I did not have the cancellation insurance. I really didn’t expect this, but am so pleased, and this will help me to fly once I am recuperated from this issue that left me incapacitated. The person on the phone was super pleasant and helped me to get this done. I’ll be back. Thank you.

I wish I could give 0 reviews on this “agency”. It’s true he worst service I’ve ever used. When I first booked the flight, they called me so that “ I could get a seat assigned”. Since I didn’t get my confirmation email after booking the flight, as usual, I thought this was a scam. After I called my bank to cancel the transaction because I never got the confirmation email, I finally got it. After that, I had a huge problem because my second last name wasn’t included in the ticket, these people had me calling Iberia because “based on their policies” they couldn’t do anything to change/add my second last name. That was a lie, I called Iberia and they said they couldn’t do anything because the ticket had been bought by a third party (cheapflights.com). At this point, I was very disappointed i was not only going to miss my vacation, but also loose my money. Plus, lookup fare kept telling me to call them back in 4 hours, in 8 hours, in 10 hours call after call and I was stupid to keep waisting my time in this scammers. They never got it resolved, but told me my only option was to book a new flight and then, I would get reimbursement of my money. HELL NO. How would I know i was going to get my money back?
Now, I’m waiting to see if my bank can do anything about this, all I can say is PLEASE don’t use this website. You can also deals through justfly.com or websites with better reviews. These people would yell at you and try to make you believe it’s your fault they’re stealing your money.

I felt like I was being scammed. I booked the flight online using two credit cards, One from my husband and myself the other one. The agent called us back and left a message stating that they tried several times, several days to get in touch with me and couldn't to tell me my card didn't go through Chase needed approval from my husband. We never recieved an alert from Chase on this matter. I told them No you haven't been calling my number, they assured they were. I asked why didn't they leave a message they claim message was full. I assured them my messages are never full and if it was full why is it they are able to get through now. We ended up having to pay an additional $150 because they said we couldn't get on that flight anymore. Called the day before flight take off because my sisters name was misspelled no fault due to them. It had 1 too many b's in her first name. They told me this will cost me $100 to change that 1 B. Hung up and called Spirit on the phone 15min they changed it with no problems no money. They probably knew thats all I needed to do but no they wanted an xtra $100.

Be very careful with this company....nothing but lies and broken promises. I book a one way flight from Toronto to San Diego for $159 had no idea on line I was booking through Lookupfare.com. My business plans changed past the 30 day grace period so I wanted change my flight knowing I would have a $100 fee but what I didn't know was I lost my original $159. No one spoke very good english and couldn't explain. They said they had a Toronto office but couldn't give an address.
Someone called me 3 times so when I returned their call they wouldn't say who they were and put me on hold. PLEASE be careful of LOOKUPFARE ....very shady

Horrible service!! I booked a flight for my family of three to DFW. Then on a separate booking, immediately after mine, I booked a flight for my parents to DFW for the same date, and time, and flight. I have the confirmations and the booking reference numbers. Upon check in at the airport we were told that my parents reservation had been cancelled, they had no seats on our flight. I was given a phone number by the gal who was trying to check them in at Fresno Air Terminal, for lookupfare. 877-400-7559. I reached a man who I gave the booking reference number to, who proceeded to tell me their flight was cancelled because they were late for check in. WRONG!! It was 4:15 AM, checking in for a 6:05 AM flight. I told him that was not correct, he must be in a different time zone. ( and my husband and son and I had just checked in for our flight with no problem). Then he stated that someone cancelled their reservation. Not sure who, or when. Stated that they had been issued a refund. Then he tried to get me to book them another flight with him, high pressure, as we were going to Texas for my Son's wedding. The Fresno Air Terminal employee, was also giving me available flight information at the counter, as he was on the phone telling me, " She doesn't know what she is talking about", "that flight is all booked up, No seats". DUDE!! I am at the airport, I think she can see better than you what flights are available. He insisted that I give him my credit card # so he could rebook them right away!! I ended up hanging up on him, and booked with the airport counter directly. It cost my parents over double what they had already paid, to go to my son's wedding. Did I mention that they are 86 and 81 years old, my Dad is in a wheelchair, and we had to leave them alone in the FAT (Fresno Air Terminal) lobby alone for 8 hours. Very Disturbing. Now that we are home, having checked all the bank statements, NO REFUND has been issued. We would like a refund. Waiting to hear back from you.

I called at midnight to cancel the ticket. he said to give me $500 refund. I called many times to get confirmation email to make sure to get money back. I still have not got now. I told her that if I can't get confirmation of the final price, I would like to cancel the ticket because I don't want to pass the 24 hours cancellation period. The last girl talked to me impolitely and hang up on me without letting me finish my sentence.

BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! BEWARE!!! before booking with this company. Unlike some of the other reviews the agents I spoke with were both professional sounding and courteous but the positives end there. I booked 2 roundtrip tickets for an elderly couple who are on a strict fixed income. The first problem, as others mentioned, was an agents fee that was never mentioned or made known during the booking. It was not until a bill was received that this fee become known. A trustworthy company would have mentioned this and also had it in writing. Secondly, and very costly, when the reservations were made I was told that the cost included the airfare and an additional fee paid was for checked bags,1checked bag for each person (2 total). I even called Lookupfare before their departure to verify that this info was correct. Again I was told that the luggage was included but they would not give me a confirmation number saying the airline would know at the airport, suspicious, … and not the case, You can only imagine how devesting and upsetting this was for an elderly couple who were nervous just about flying and then trying to deal with this hassle. The same problem occurred on the return trip when I called for boarding passes for them I was told that the luggage was not included. I immediately called Lookupfare and spoke with an agent. Feeling I was getting the run around I then asked to speak with a supervisor, to resolve the problem but without success. He took all the booking details but that didn't help either. After returning home another call was made but was given the same run around. They indicated all the details would be forwarded to a team to review the transaction. Nothing changed!!! How can these people sleep at night knowing they have bilked and elderly couple on a fixed income. Lookupfare was trusted but they didn't deserve this trust. Just beware if you decide to use this company don't take them at their word. It may appear that you're getting the best price but after their gimmicks this is not the case. There are so many reputable companies out there that live up to their reputation.

I am disappointed with this company. I wrote a bad review before then took it down because they had resolved my issue. Now I find out that
the time my flight that is booked for next month has changed. If I had not went on United airlines I would have never known the time change and would have probably missed my flight. I looked on this site and the time they gave me is different but they never informed me. Once again I will never deal with this company ever again!

The company reached to me the next to resolve the issue by confirming the $20:00 refund I was promised will be credited to my credit card account both verbally and in writing in an email. The agent I spoke with was very professional and helpful and much more reassuring than the agent I spoke with the previous day.

Currently on vacation and have been getting harrassed from a representative named Keith the entire trip. He is trying to get me to pay an additional 380 for my seats. My receipt says total includes airfare, taxes and fees. I booked in June and the lady who booked everything for me then never mentioned I'd get hit with an additional 380 the day of my vacation for seats!! Nor does it say this anywhere on my contract. He's trying to tell me now that airfare doesn't include seats!? Well than what the hell does it mean!? I've never dealt with such B.S. in my life. I will NEVER use this company again and I REFUSE to pay extra for seats! That is absurd! I will deal with a supervisor when I get home. Thanks for ruining my vacation!

Wow, such a scam. I wouldn’t even call this a service. I booked a non-existant flight reservation through them and was informed I didn’t have a flight when I called on the way to the airport. Yes. You read that right. I kept being told numerous times that they would email me my United reservation number before my flight as my confirmation was “processing”. The email never came because there wasn’t a reservation number.

Through my not paying attention to the fine print, I bought my ticket through a US agent. They responded very quickly to my concerns. I was offered a full refund but refused since I need the flights. They are sending me a small remuneration which I appreciate. Amazing customer service!

I thought I got a good deal till I looked at my credit card and found they charged me for my flights taxes and insurance. Then on a separate charge there was an agent fee. So I feel if they were being honest they would have put there agent fee on with the booking.

Promise the world...deliver nothing promised. On more than one occasion I had to follow up with them on flights and seats never delivered. I had to go direct to the airline to get the seats I was promised the night before I was to leave. I wish I had never started a reservation with this group. Too much to lose!
