My partner took ill only in June and we had our lives turned upside down, very unexpectantly in July. I was lucky enough to find this company for a reclining chair and table, but, after only 2 weeks he got worse and I rang customer services and explained and they were so lovely,Joanne and Liam.I was obviously devastated and needed to return the items which Liam dealt with from start to finish, had a call this morning from him regarding the refund.I had only a partial refund for the table as it was scratched somewhere and I totally respect their decision as I was in no state to really be thorough, the chair was passed as he hardly used it. think this companies sales team are absolutely marvellous and I thank you all.You have handled my calls and tears with such empathy and the fact that I was able to deal with the same person was so much easier for me to handle. Liam is so kind ,the way he dealt with my enquiry and managed a welcome chat with me.Almost forgot the products, spot on,good price, quality and delivery.Customer Service outstanding.Thank you Liam for everything, it was my pleasure to speak with you.x

Great service. Great communication and staff. Had a fault as the basket clip was broken, phoned up and they have contacted the parts department to send another one out. This was in less than an hour of having the mobility scooter. Will deal again and thank you for great service

I will be honest and thought I would take a star off but I will explain why I didn’t , I ordered the Napoli cream recliner masssage and heat chair , I ordered it on Thursday 25th April for next day delivery , I looked to see if I had an email saying what time it was coming as I had no call , but left it for couple of hours but still nouthing so thought I would call , I got a very friendly young man called Justin (I think rubbish with names ) and he looked into it , he appolugised and said they had problems before with this particular chair , he really was so apologetic and said he would refund me my next day delivery charge and said it would be with me Monday without fail . I wasn’t happy about it but hey these things do happen. So on the Monday still no call or email about delivery so called again just in case there was another problem , I spoke to a very friendly lady wish I could remember her name and she told me it was with dpd who would delivery by 12.17 to 1.17 , she gave me a tracking number so I could watch his journey , so the fault wasn’t with Livewell it was DpD who should have called me with delivery time .
So yes I had a small problem with delivery but was sorted out within 10 minutes , my refund went through same day and my whole customer service experience was superb. I would definitely buy from Livewell again even with the small error . So thank you Livewell for your exellent service . And the chair is the best massage chair I have bought , it is fantastic quality , pretty simple to put together instructions were good and the price of course being the best.
Thank you Team Livewell

After having finally accepted that I needed an electric folding wheelchair I reviewed the various models available and decided that an unknown to me, called Instafold, available from Livewelltoday.co.uk would be my best option. However I had not heard of Instafold or the supplying company and the thought of spending so much money on “unknowns” was a concern.
However my concerns were totally unfounded. I called the marketing department and a very polite, helpful, knowledgeable and patient sales person , Norma answered. Norma was absolutely superb, nothing was too much trouble and she told me the chair is made by Drive, a company whose products I already have. Consequently I placed the order. Chris, Neil and Liam looked after the delivery side keeping me informed of timescales. The wheelchair was delivered as forecast and the helpful delivery driver brought it into the house for me.
Susan from Livewell Today called me a few days after delivery to discuss extending the chairs insurance – 3 months was included in the purchase price.
The chair is, as the video shows, very easy to set up and its weight with batteries installed is manageable for my wife to lift both out and in the car although maybe not as light as we anticipated, it fills the boot of our Skoda Yeti.
Seating position and ride is excellent providing necessary support and the suspension makes travelling very comfortable - like being in an armchair at home.
The chair responds well on smooth surfaces and manages reasonable slopes with ease but is sometimes awkward but not impossible to manoeuvre over bumpy or uneven ground such as a field. Standing start is sluggish but I have not found this is a problem – you just need to be aware and ensure there is enough time to get going.
Overall, I cannot fault the product or the service I received from Livewell Today and have no hesitation in recommending them.

I ordered an electric wheelchair from Livewell Today on August 12 and paid for a next day delivery for August 14.
The accessories booked with wheelchair was delivered on August 14 with no wheelchair. Spent the whole day at home waiting for the wheelchair.
I called Livewell Today on August 15 and was told the wheelchair will be delivered on August 16. Given excuse that it was with a courier company to deliver.
Spent the whole day at home on August 16, called Livewell Today at 4.45pm, was told the deliver will be done before 6pm.
The company has very bad customer service, no one called when the wheelchair was not delivered. No one has bothered to call me back since I complained about the delivery.
I bought the wheelchair to be shipped to Nigeria on Monday August 19 for a friend who is badly in need of the wheelchair. Now I am stuck because I will miss timeframe to get to to the friend as promised.

I found Livewell Today very helpful from the very start of the purchase of a motability scooter they couldn’t be more helpful, they addressed all My queries to my satisfaction which I was very pleased about.
The speed of delivery was fantastic, I ordered before 2pm and delivery was the next day for which I Very pleased about as I was eager to go out. Their delivery agent brought the scooter in my home and asked which room I wanted it put in which was excellent
I would recommend Livewell Today to anybody thinking of getting a motability aid.
All the staff were both polite and very helpful.
A big thank you to all for a great service.

My sister in law bought a mobility scooter a few months ago and there was something not quite right from day one as it was making a funny noise. After reporting this they said to wait and see if it settled down - it didn’t. They sent an engineer out - couldn’t figure it out. Then this week it just died - in the middle of the road! Thank goodness her husband was there to help get her out of the road.
Now it cuts out every few minutes. No use at all.
So she rings up - no engineer available for 10 days and nothing else they can do to help her in the meantime.
This was NOT fit for purpose and a replacement should have been organised today! I am livid!!
She is now housebound and has no means to collect the kids from school etc so has to rely on kindness of others to help!

My mother ordered a £2400 scooter from these people, we then found it £250 cheaper. We contacted them with the details and they agreed to match the cost as per their price promise....however the claim that they offer the lowest prices is false as they never lowered the online price to match the competitor even though they were now aware of a cheaper cost...so be warned, their claim to be the cheapest is a false one! It doesn’t end there. We booked a white glove delivery which supposed to include training and all sorts of other benefits...the scooter was delivered assembled and that was it. The ‘engineer then falsified paperwork and my mothers signature to say that the training had been provided and she was satisfied with both the scooter and the level of service. Legally you are entitled to a 14 day return window..my mother never actually used the scooter and decided it was not for her (within that period) and I had to fight hard to get them to allow the return which they point blank refused to accept until pushed hard. They then charged £90 to collect PLUS a 10% ‘restocking’ fee...claiming the tyres were dirty!!! That took over two weeks to do. Needless to say we are taking legal advice! Be warned, in my opinion they ‘sharp practice’ and rely on you to check prices or cave in if there is a problem. I can’t recommend them and suggest you look elsewhere as you will almost certainly find the same product cheaper!

I am extremely disapointed with livewell today's customer service and aftercare.
I have contacted livewell numerous times regarding a continuous squeak my powerchair has had since I received it including sending pictures and sound recordings at their request. Orriginally I was told this may just be the suspension being tight and settling and to give it a little time. On each contact I made them aware that my 8 year old son has a sensitivity to noise and the squeak was causing him distress. Eventually an engineer was arranged. By this time I had also notifed them of another intermittent issue that had arrisen where battery light indicator started to drop after only 10 minutes of use. The engineer looked at the battery and also tried to discover the cause of the squeak. This engineer was here over an hour and a half. He oiled and checked every part and was unable to locate or resolve the cause of the squeak. He suggested that other than a replacement, the only thing he could suggest was the chair going back to the factory to be completely stripped down. When this was advised to livewell, thier representative said they would arrange another engineer to attend my home to strip the chair. While waiting for this 2nd engineer appointment, the chair has experienced a further fault and was unsafe for me to use. While travelling to my children's school summer circus event, my chair began to cut out. The first time this happened I had just come off a drop curb and lost all power. The chair would not turn back on. Thankfully my husband was with me as this was a very dangerous situation with me stuck on the road with my chair unable to get myself to safty. My husband got me out of the chair and safely to the pavement then returned into the road and got my chair safely to the pavement. He disassembled the chair and put it back together, the power returned but when I tried to use it again, it cut out a 2nd time, Almost immediately. This happened a total of about 15 times, eventually we gave up and my husband pushed the chair the rest of the way while I struggled to walk the the short distance with my elderly mother in laws assistance on my walking sticks. I am very unsteady on walking sticks and almost fell multiple times. We were late to my children's school event missing the first part of the circus which we had paid £25 for in advance disappointing my children. Following having to use my sticks for the remainder of the journey I experienced extreme swelling and pain throughout the rest of the day and the following day.
I was unable to contact livewell as they do not operate on sundays so I called first thing on monday morning to explain the situation. My husband believed it to be a loose wire at the back and with great difficulty I tried to get a photograph of this at thier request. I recieved a call back and was told the engineer coming out on 10th (10 days later) would also look at this fault. I explained I am housebound without the use of my chair and this is why I purchased the item. I was unable to wait this long as I can not pick up my children from school. I was eventually offered a self propelled wheelchair but my condition affects all of my joints including my hands so I would be unable to use this.
I purchased a powerchair and expected to be supplied with a suitable replacement while awaiting repairs. I also explained I no longer have faith in the item. It has been faulty since i recieved it and i felt it has manufacturing faults. I did not have faith in the chair they supplied me and felt unable to trust it. Their representative said she would speak to a manager and contact me back at 9am on tuesday.following a review left by my sister in law here, It was agreed that my powerchair would be replaced but they advised this will take 7-10 working days although this had been requested as urgent. I made It clear i thought this was unacceptable as when I purchased the chair I was able to get next day delivery. Why would this not be available. It feels like they had my money so did not care that they were rendering a mother of 2 housebound but when they are trying to sell an item they are able to deliver a lot quicker.
My new chair arrived at 3pm on Friday. I was without a chair for 5 school runs. I had to rely on other parents helping me most days and me offering petrol money to them. I did attempt to do this on my walking sticks one day as I did not want to miss my sons summer play. I was able to get a lift to the play but I could not get home so attempted to walk with my crutches My children had to see me in extreme pain and I ended up sobbing on a wall with 2 concerned children unable to make it home. Luckily another parent drove past and took me and my children the rest of the way home. Friday my husband had to stay home to do the school run using up holiday.
I also had to pay taxi fairs to attend a meeting in my office and to attend a hospital appointment.
I am extremely disapointed you feel this is an acceptable way to treat your disabled customers.
after complaining to livewell, I was offered £50 as a good will gesture. This does not even cover what I had to pay out in petrol money, taxis and lost in our circus tickets They have now agreed on £65.
I paid £25 for circus
£42 in taxi's
£10 petrol money for other people collecting my children.
A days holiday for my husband.
It really shows just how little they care about their customers. We have lost more having to cope with the inconvenience aswell as a day my husband will not be able to spend with us in the school summer holidays, not to mention the pain caused and the upset my children experienced seeing thier mother in in pain and crying.
I an so disapointed. I really thought I was choosing a reputable and caring company when I purchased my powerchair. I was so wrong. Livewell seem to only care about their profit margins.
Following my post here, a senior manager has contacted me who understood my situation. He has mentioned that livewell are reviewing thier process when managing after sales faults which is great to hear. A more reasonable offer has been made to cover my expenses so although there have been failings, I feel they have now at least been fair in dealing with my complaint.

Have emailed twice, first before buying, then a concern after purchase, no reply during the week as yet. Not everything on the website is accurate either. Don't call them for the free 3 months insurance as they just pass you on. On the site it says you can call them for it to be set up.
Service isn't looking good so far, I pray the buggy doesn't break down or anything after looking at the feedback about this company on here, and the money they charge on a return seems excessive. Trading standards for distance selling gives 14 days approval.
No I never did get a reply from my emails, but they are so old now and I am in receipt of my buggy as you can tell, I pretty much have the answers that I was enquiring about. The painted panel fell off this week when I was using it. I am hoping that doesn't happen again; otherwise, it seems an okay machine. I did speak to the insurance company direct, I didn't expect anyone to phone me about it I had already called you. Anyway I have my 3 months. Cheers.

Had the most appalling after-sales experience with this company today, so appalling it's prompted me to leave a review as I feel people really need to know what this company are like when things go wrong. I bought the jaunt 4mph mobility scooter for my elderly mum whose mobility has been affected since a heart attack this scooter was intended to make our holiday easier for her as she struggles to walk. We've had the scooter since 19 June. Tried it once in preparation for our holiday and it took some time to connect but did eventually so thought nothing of it and mum loved the idea of getting some freedom back. Got it to the coast this friday night and it wouldn't work, discovered a loose wire under the chassis obviously something we couldn't fix. Sent photos and had numerous telephone conversations during the day. One suggestion from them was they send the part and if we have someone with technical know how they could fix it .... no engineer available until next week ..... would not send a replacement scooter and take faulty one away until we return from holiday .... they even suggested when asked what they expected mum to do that they could do nothing whatsoever to support. Seems like they are only too happy to leave customers stranded when things go wrong.
Update 08 Jul - Scooter was collected today by HDD. We were told by Livewell Today and also by HDD that they would repackage the scoooter to ensure safe transit back, but when the driver arrived, he simply built the scooter up and loaded it into the back of the van ... no packaging, no protection.... so god only knows what condition it will arrive back in despite leaving us in pristine condition. This has been a total disaster from start to finish and I'd urge anyone considering a purchase to think long and hard before using this company, it's a real nightmare.

We bought a boot scooter from Livewell Today last year and got excellent service from them. So when we needed an adjustable bed we went back to them. The help and advice on choosing a bed we got from Jamie was excellent. The bed itself, when it finally arrived was also excellent. However that's when the saga began. Trying to get information about how long it would take to manufacture and deliver the bed was a nightmare. Livewells answering telephone answering system is from the dark ages. I lost count of the number of times I heard "you are moving up the queue" without knowing where I was in the queue. Eventually thanks particularly to Liam and Rachel we got there. Livewell really must do something about their communication between manufacturers, couriers and customers. There was a small excuse that a bank holiday got in the way, but that's only one day. Would we buy from them again? Yes. The quality of the goods we got from them was excellent.

Mum has just had a bad experience with another mobility company waited weeks and weeks for a scooter and was fobbed off over and over again so was a wee bit worried ordering another online but needn’t of been. We ordered the envoy 8 on Wednesday morning paid extra £14 for next day delivery which we weren’t holding our breath but here it arrived lunchtime next day. 5*!!
When ordering we phoned the company got through within a few minutes and spoke to a very nice guy that answered a few questions we wanted to know about it. He was very helpful.
Delivery. We didn’t pay for set up and really didn’t need it but have to say the delivery guy struggled to get the scooter from the lorry to the house. He was on his own poor guy. It came in a big single box and the 2 batteries separate boxes. So the scooter was left at the corner of the house. You’ll need someone strong to help get it out the box. Then it’s just a case of connecting the batteries and fixing the chair on. Then you’re good to go.
Can’t complain about livewell absolutely chuffed to bits with everything. Will be using your company again. 5 stars guys

Ordered a wheelchair with next day delivery. It did arrive but what was not mentioned was that the footrests required assembly. Absolutely no assembly instructions. After struggling for close to an hour without having any success as to figuring out how to put them on, I rang them up. After some discussion, they decided that they had sent the wrong footrests.
I asked them to send a replacement which they refused to do until the old one was returned. Rather than wait, I ordered a new one to get a refund on the old one. That was supposed to be delivered next day but ir wasn't so had to wait over the weekend.
On arrival, it was exactly the same as the first. They said they had checked it and it was correct so it was right all along.
I have now had to hire someone to come in and assemble the footrests as it is so finely measured, if they will fit at all, that special tools are required at a minimum.
I am not a happy wheelchair user. Indeed, I am not a wheelchair user at all as I can't get it put together.

7th June 2019. I purchased an Easy Split Folding Travel Powerchair on 15/5/19 after viewing their video. This appeared easy to split. This was so but what you did not see was the parts being lifted; they were heavy.
The nature of buying on line is that you try them and if not suitable it is accepted that items can be returned. This powerwheelchair was dangerous for my wife to operate. If you let your foot slip of the footplate and your hand resting on the arm rest triggered the movement of the chair the wheels could have run over her foot. Therefore I decided to return it on the understanding that a fee of £50 would be duducted for the refund. There was all the hassel of repacking it and phoning about the refund. Never again !
I took three good quality photographs of the chair close up. I have blown these up on my computer and cannot see any scratches on the footplate as they said. I was also told there was mud on the tyres. I cannot see any in the photographs but what I can see is dust from the paving slabs.
They are going to deduct £175.98 in addition to the £50 because they recon it can now only be sold as used.
This is a lesson learned, I will put it down to experience, do not buy an item like this on line and especially from these people. It is far better to try out the item locally from a well known local firm and pay a bit more. It is far cheaper in the long run.
It is a fairly safe bet that if you have taken the item out of the box, assembled it and tried it, then decided it is not suitable and sent it back you will be penalised with a 20% deduction of the cost price which you are not advised about also the £50 you are advised about. I could not see a warning about the 20% penalty.

I have just purchased a Lars Riser Recliner Chair from Living Well. (I first saw the chair on the Argos website). I was very reluctant to purchase this chair as it was only 18” inches wide(I’m a big lad at 23 stones 10 lbs). The chair is very comfortable. Further I found the same product cheaper than Argos. I placed my order on a Saturday evening and to my surprise it was sat in my lounge on Tuesday morning. When they say 7 day delivery it looks as though they mean it. The chair arrived in one big box and had to be opened outside my property and the chair brought in. The base and the back came through a standard door easily. The chair itself is quite nice looking and at 28 stones user weight is more than fit for purpose. I found the motor to be a little bit louder than my previous chairs which cost twice as much. I think after some use this will gradually reduce. If you struggle with mobility problems then you definitely need the two man team to bring it in. I have read many bad reviews of this Company which had caused some concern, however, I have experienced no problems at all (early days). I can very highly recommend both the chair and state with confidence that they are an excellent company to deal with.
